Hello September!!! We are off to a great start!
We have had two weeks of school and headed to our third this week. Will Holden started flag football last week. He was the smallest kid on the team. He was excited! I'm hoping he loves it. I have dreamed of him playing football so it's totally okay if he ends up hating it but for now it's fun!
It may be 95 degrees but my girls are still wearing sweatshirts to school. I know they aren't only ones. Don't try to question it. ha!
Scott always goes down to south Arkansas in early fall to work at his deer camp and get things ready for deer season. He took Will Holden this time for the first time so they could have a boys weekend. Will Holden was beside himself with excitement! They left Friday right after school and came back Monday afternoon.
We were pretty excited ourselves because we girls got a girls weekend. It was fun to have a few days just to hang out with the girls. I have looked forward to this for a long time. The day when Will Holden and Scott would go on "hunting trips" and us girls would have time together.
They are at such a fun and easy age. I love being with them. We ate out.
We shopped. They love shopping now! We haven't gone to a mall much but we did and they loved it!
We had a new cookie place open in town last week. So we stood in line and got some cookies and they were DELICIOUS!
Sunday we went to church and lunch and then spent the rest of the weekend cleaning house, watching movies and just relaxing.
Meanwhile, WH was living his best life. His favorite part was the fishing.
But he loved getting up in the deer stands. He wants to go hunting with Scott but we have to keep telling him you have to sit and be quiet which is basically impossible for him. He talks non stop.
And of course riding the mule with his grandpa.
I mean gosh he is so cute! They had a great time and were both asleep by 8:30 last night.
My MIL took this picture. How sweet is it?
It was a wonderful Labor Day weekend and I'm hoping we have a great week ahead. I wish the same for y'all. Some of you may just now be starting school.
