I have had a black thumb forever. All of my friends have these big beautiful gardens and I have never dreamed of even attempting one. When this quarantine started, I thought "maybe since I'm going to be home non stop - I could have a garden". I started looking into raised bed gardens but I never really pursued it and then I ran out of steam.
But I still thought it might be fun to just try going something. Even if it was just a few herbs. And I had this old pallet sitting around that I meant to throw out and I thought it would be fun to turn it into something instead.
So we painted it and fixed it up and planted a few things and we are loving it so much. Now I'm for sure wanting to go bigger next year. (We will see when next spring rolls around). But I thought I would share if you are like me and don't want to go full on garden but want to just have a "tiny garden".
And even if we only get maybe 8 strawberries out of the whole thing - I bet they will be the best tasting ones we have ever had.
The kids and I made a video to show how we made it!
