I'm behind on blogging so I thought I would catch up on life lately.
A couple of weeks ago, the girls and I went to a wedding reception. The couple got married in Las Vegas where they live but they had a reception here.
It was at an old movie theatre that's been renovated. It was so pretty and I loved how they put pictures up like old movie posters outside.
The girls and the pretty bride! We had a great time and the boys went to a movie while we were gone.
I took Will Holden to play at a new indoor play place. We met his best friend and his mom. They had so much fun. They played for 2.5 hours and I had to drag them out. And I was able to sit and work because it was all enclosed and safe.
Last weekend we took the kids to brunch at Louise at the local airport. We have eaten lunch and dinner there but never breakfast.
It was a cold day and a good one to be at brunch.
The girls got pancakes and loved them!
Scott had chicken and waffles and loved it.
I had the avocado toast and some of the best grits I've ever had and I don't even like grits but these have gouda and are delicious!
We watched planes fly in and out while we ate.
Then we went to Chuck E Cheese. We love playing games there.
Hollis is a ticket hoarder. She has been saving tickets for a while and has thousands. I don't know what her goal is.
Then we headed to target to spend gift cards from Christmas.
Sunday we went to church and lunch. The girls had to be at church in the afternoon for choir and GA's and Will Holden stayed home with Scott. He fell asleep around 5 and had fever. I kept him home Monday.
Monday I recorded a podcast with Jamie Ivey that will air on Valentines Day. I talked all about Singles day. I'm excited because it will come out the day before Singles Day this year and hopefully will bring a lot more people to the account. The more people that see it - the more matches that can be made. By the way - I'm still taking entries up until 2/14. But send them in earlier than later. I have a google form on my instagram for you to use if you are interested! Tuesday Will Holden got a little worse and woke up with a croupy cough so we headed to the dr. He had croup and Flu A. Thankfully he got a steroid for the croup but they didn't give him anything for the Flu. But by Wed afternoon - he was completely fine and never had fever again. So we stayed low the rest of the week at home.
I hate having to slow down and cancel things but it can be good for the soul too.
and now it's February!
