Fall Break

As of Friday at 3 p.m. - we are on fall break!! We used to be on a year round schedule which as amazing.  We would get two weeks off in October.  But a couple of years ago - they put all of our schools in our district on the same schedule but they compromised and gave us 3 days off plus a weekend for a fall break.  It really is nice to get this small break! Last year we went to Disney during fall break but this year we are just hanging at home and sleeping in and enjoying a little free time.

Harper got a new Stitch Fix box.  She wanted to keep this fuzzy cat sweater but we decided no.  But she did get a few cute things to keep.

We had scheduled Christmas pictures for Saturday afternoon at a Christmas tree farm.  We signed up in July! ha! I got our outfits all picked out and then it was raining most of Saturday so we had to reschedule for today.  Scott will be at work so we decided we really just want a picture of the kids anyway.

We have been having a rainy soccer season.  We have had a lot of games rained out.  Saturday we played but it was drizzling the whole time and COLD.  Just about a week ago - it was still so hot and then it skipped right into being cold.  Today the high is 45.  We missed fall apparently.  ha! Actually I think it is going to turn nice after today but the weather has just been crazy.  And yes - Harper looks so old in this picture.

Since our pictures got cancelled and it was cold and raining hard all day - we had an empty Saturday. We just cozied up at home and it was nice.

Scott and I got a date Saturday night.  We went to eat at Fish City Grill.  Scott looks to give me mean looks when I take his picture.  He's always laughing as soon as I take it.  ha!

The Passion Band and Louie Giglio came to our church Saturday night.  I was so excited to see them.  I have always wished I was young enough to go to Passion.

We had a great time!

The music was amazing!

I feel God the most when I'm singing worship music.

I love Louie Giglio.  I love how he has given his life to reaching college aged kids.  Generations have been changed because of his vision and it's been neat to watch.  He spoke on anxiety and it was a message I needed to hear.  It's no secret that I have struggled with anxiety and it has been rising up in me lately so I needed the reminder of who is in control.

One of my college friends and her husband came for the weekend to see Passion.  I got to see her for a few minutes! She owns Bell and May shirts - you see me in them a lot!

Today we had church and we taught Will Holden's class.  How cute are these two? WH looks not sure about it. ha!

Have a good Monday!
