We started off our weekend with Harper's class leading the school assembly Friday morning. Each class does this once a year. Somehow our classes have gone back to back but the good news is we are done until next year. Harper had a line and she did great!
Saturday all the grandparents came in town and were able to go to Hollis' soccer game. It's almost October but it is sooooooooooooooooooo hot. She had quite the fan club.
Sweet Joseph wanted to come see her play. And she was thrilled!
This morning was a big day because Hollis was baptized. She was saved about a month ago and we wanted to schedule her baptism for when her grandparents could all be here. Our friend Hutch is one of our pastors baptized her. This is him practicing with her. We help with baptisms and it's always so neat to hear the salvation stories each week before baptisms.
Hollis helping us with baptisms and hearing those stories helped her to be ready to make her own decision. And since she helps us and watches people get baptized all the time - she was probably the most prepared kid to ever get baptized. ha! She was so sweet and so excited.
We were so proud of our sweet "bug" as we call her. She said she just felt so happy after!
This was Hutch baptizing her.
After church we all went out for a good lunch. It was such a special day.
Jesus Saves Bro! Yes He does!
