I had wanted to write a Friday Favorites post for today or a post about all the summer fun ....
But my heart is just not in it.
It's been a tough week. A friend in my Sunday School class had a precious baby this week who passed away a day later. It was expected but it doesn't make it any easier. I have been so heartbroken for them. I have other friends who are walking through hard times. And my heart just feels heavy. I told a friend on the phone yesterday that I felt so guilty for living life.....or laughing or just doing normal things when I knew people were experiencing such deep sorrow at the same time.
I imagine a lot of you are walking through tough things.
I thought today if you wanted to name those things - maybe we could pray for you. Would you be so bold to let someone know if you are going to commit to pray for them?
Thank you for lifting up people you don't know. Prayer is never in vain.
