Well, we have seven weeks of school left. Everyone says the holidays are the busiest time of the year but I think it's April and May. Is it nuts this time of year for y'all? We have SO much going on. The girls both got great report cards last week and I had good parent teacher conferences. I'm so thankful for their teachers and for how well our school year is going. But I'm in denial that soon I will have a THIRD GRADER.
Scott's parents came this weekend for a visit. We celebrated Hollis, Will Holden and Scott's birthdays with them. Will Holden was all about opening his gifts.
Saturday morning we left bright and early for Branson. We stopped first at Cracker Barrel. It's a hard choice but I got egg whites instead of pancakes. Ha ha! Life is hard.
It was a gorgeous day to go to Silver Dollar City.
Will Holden and I on the only ride we got on that day - the frogs. He wasn't a fan. Then he didn't want to ride anything else. The girls rode everything and I chased Will around the park. I felt like a truck hit me when I got home.
Thank goodness for the big room of balls. He loved that!
Scott and Hollis got SOAKED on the Lost River. I don't know that we will ever get Hollis on that one again.
We got home in time for dinner and were all ready for bed early that night.
Especially this boy!
Harper's choir sang in church Sunday. Doesn't she look so grown up?
Thank goodness this one still looks so little. And sweet.
Hollis and her choir had their spring musical Sunday night. They were bees. The kindergartners said a special part. Hollis was SO proud to do that. I was proud of her for being brave enough to.
We had a great weekend. Scott's parents left before school Monday and it was a day full of running for us.
