Love this new song by Chris Tomlin. I listened to it on replay today because I have been very heavenly focused lately.
Monday I went to a funeral for one of my good college friend's dad. Her dad was such a kind and generous man. He was always giving to others and always sharing the gospel. He lived a life that was so well lived. It was so inspiring and encouraging me to just be more heavenly focused.
And on Tuesdays, one of our pastors has been doing a series for our women's Bible study on Heaven and it's been so good. It's made me so excited to get to heaven. This world is just such a blip. And we all hate death and fear death. And yet death for those of us who believe in Jesus - is just the BEGINNING!
A few weeks ago I was talking to Rachel Lovingood who spoke at a conference. And she was sharing about their best friend who was their pastor in Nashville and he got a rare cancer and ended up dying. She was telling us about how great his sermon was the Sunday after he was told he didn't have long to live. I thought I would share it. He was such an amazing pastor.

I'm not trying to be a downer or morbid today - I just have on my heart so heavily that I don't know how long I will live. I could live another 50 years or I might die next week. I don't want to leave my babies until they are grown. But I know that I know that if I die, I will be in heaven because I have followed Jesus. And my prayer is that if you don't know what your eternity looks like or you have questions - that you would seek that out. I would love to share with you or find a local church or ask a friend you might have who knows Christ. Please don't put off knowing what eternity is going to be for you.
Heaven is going to be amazing. And I want to see you there.
