Now that we have had TEN couples (WAIT I JUST FOUND OUT AFTER POSTING THAT ONE MORE COUPLE IS ENGAGED. SO ELEVEN!) meet and marry through the Singles Day on my blog - I thought it would be fun to give a little update on all the couples and how things are going. I asked them each to share a little about their families.
And yes - it is completely crazy that ten couples have met and married and had many, many children through a mom blog but I absolutely LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!
I also want to know your interest on me hosting another singles day? Sometimes I think it's run it's course but on the other hand when I think just ONE couple might meet and marry - I feel like we have to try again! Let me know what you think or if you have any singles in your life you would post about?
Stephen and Leslie
(Married September 2011)
This is a hard update. Stephen and Leslie met on my blog and were married in September 2011. They had two beautiful girls - Caroline and Ainsley. Sadly, Leslie passed away this past July. I want to ask that you please keep Stephen and his two precious daughters daily in your prayers.
(His sister Sarah gave this update: Stephen and the girls are doing well. They are taking each day at a time and are getting used to their new normal. This photo was them on Stephen's birthday yesterday.)
(Married April 2011)
Since our last update we've moved back up north where we hope to be settled for the next several years. We celebrated Annabelle's first birthday in March and our fourth anniversary in April. It's hard to believe it's already been five years since we met on Kelly's blog! I stay home with Annabelle full time and we spend our days eat snacks, singing Mary Poppins songs and reading the same books over and over.
Bryce and Toi
(Married October 2012)
Bryce and I will celebrate our third wedding anniversary next week. Our daughter recently turned two.
We own a restaurant here in Wichita that is going on it's second year and doing really well. Between working full time, Bryce running the restaurant and chasing a toddler around we are tired a lot! But, we love it all and wouldn't change it for the world!!!
Aaron and Savannah
(Married February 2012)
Aaron and I are so grateful to Jesus for all He has given us. Hudson and Millie are so excited to announce that they will be welcoming a little sister, Annie Sutton, at the end of the year! Marriage has been such a fun adventure and we are so thankful for each new season we enter. Kelly will always hold a special place in our heart for her matchmaking abilities. This is us last year at this time; so my belly is much bigger currently :)
Cash and Avery
(Married July 2012)
In 2011 Cash's sister-in-law posted about him, and I could not resist his good looks! We dated 600 miles apart for a year and a half before we married in July 2012. Since then we have lived in his hometown of Midland, Texas, where he is a petroleum geologist. In March of this year we found out our first little miracle from God would be arriving in November, so we made the choice for me to stay home. As of today we are totally and completely obsessed with the countdown of waiting on our surprise and are looking forward to bringing a Razorback Texan into the world. It's been almost 5 years since that blog post, and we are thankful everyday for our chance meeting and the love story God wrote for us.
Chad and Katie
(Married April 2013)
My husband, son, and I are still happily married loving God & life together just outside of Houston. We've been married for almost 2 1/2 years and our sweet baby boy just turned 1 at the end of September. We would love to have more children if God chooses to bless us so!
Chandler and Erin
(Married May 2013)
Chandler and I met during the February 2012 Show Us Your Singles and have been married for two and a half years. This past June we welcomed a baby girl, Peyton. Our life together has been so wonderful and we look forward to what The Lord has planned for our future!
(Married June 2013)
They have a daughter who is almost one.
Jeremy and Erin
(Married October 2015)
Jeremy and I were married on October 3, 2015 in my hometown of Darlington, South Carolina. This is a day we will never forget! Think floods and bridges collapsing and no electricity throughout the town due to the hurricane. That was our day! Everything was up and running thirty minutes before the wedding; Praise the Lord!! I was posted on SUYS in January 2014. Jeremy read my post in April 2014. We were engaged a year later. We are now in New York stationed at West Point for the next two years. Jeremy teaches at the academy and I am making a home for the two of us. Our life currently looks like a diminishing mountain of boxes, enjoying walks in the beautiful Fall weather, and exploring the city! I blog at www.erinagandy.blogspot.com, if you're interested in keeping up with us! We don't promise to be the Kardashians; but we are the Staches.
Cade and Jenna
(Getting married November 2015!!)
They are our newest couple. They live in Texas and are getting married next month!
