Yesterday I went to a Go Red lunch to benefit the American Heart Association. My friend Jenn's husband is a cardiologist and she invited us. It was a lot of fun. If you are looking for me in this picture, you won't find me. That's because halfway through my sitter texted that the girls had locked them into the garage. ha! I had to run home and get them in.
We had Harper's six year well visit yesterday afternoon.
It's hard to believe that she is SIX. It seems like yesterday I was bringing her in a carrier for her first pediatrician visit. I was terrified of germs. ha!
Sweet Hollis had her valentines party at school today. She was so excited to take her valentines to give out!
I have been waiting for this for a long time but I found "Little House on the Prairie" on cable last week and I DVR'd a bunch of episodes and decided to let the girls watch! This was my favorite show growing up. We are going to read through the books soon too but I thought they might be more interested if they watched the show first. I didn't know if they would like it but they LOVE it. They keep begging to watch more episodes. And of course, it brings a lot of questions. I have loved seeing their eyes get big when I explain that long ago they didn't have cars or iPhones or TV's or electricity. They are so interested. And of course, Nellie Olson gives me a lot of chances to talk about "how not to act". ha! Man, I love the Ingalls family!
