I haven't blogged much this week. We were snowed in for a few days and then I tried to work on some projects around the house and just honestly didn't have much to blog about. :-)
Today I spent the morning with Laurie and one of my favorite friend Sharon. Sharon lives a few towns over so we don't see her as much as we would like but we always have a great time together! We hit a few junk stores and ate Mexican food. And you can see Will Holden is about ready to fall out. Or at least it feels like it.
I wanted to tell you about a new book from my friend Jessica Turner. I met Jessica several years ago and admire her so much. She's probably one of the busiest women I know. She's a full time working mom of three little kids (including a newborn) and she blogs and speaks and scrapbooks and does a million other things. I think people constantly ask her "how do you do it all?" So she wrote a book called the "Fringe Hours" about fitting in time for YOU. It's hard as moms/wives/women to find time to do things we love just for us and we feel guilty when we do but it's good for our physical/mental health. Jessica gives great ideas on how to fit those passions in along with everything else we do - not doing MORE, just doing more of what we love and dropping things that don't matter.
And the BLOOM book club is doing this book as their final book club so you can get this book and join in! It will be a lot of fun and I think it will inspire you to find time for you!!!
And also - my friend Meredith has started a little clothing website for cute clothes for little girls inspired by her little girl Cecelia! There are some darling things and for good prices. I LOVE this little dress AND it's only $16!!! I thought I would pass it on to all of you with little girls!!!
