Are y'all having a good week?
I'm on the hunt for summer because it seems to have gotten lost. We went from near 90 days to this week being rainy and in the 40's. Of course - right after I switched out our closets.
We have had a busy week. I'm thankful for these two sisters who babysit for me each week for a few hours so I can go to my part time job. They are so sweet to my girls. They are always painting their nails or doing something fun with them. This week they curled their hair and put on make up. My girls LOVED it and they looked so cute.
We got to go to a cupcake birthday party for a sweet little girl turning one this week!
And we did the rite of passage - we slept in sponge rollers for the first time last night. (Well - Harper did. Hollis wanted them out before she got in bed.) Harper's hair looked SO cute this morning but we were late getting to school and I didn't take a picture. It was straight when I picked her up after a day of running and sweating at school.
We early voted today in our state's primary election. The main reason we wanted to vote is our good friend Nathan is running for Prosecuting Attorney! We are so excited for him! I told the girls we were going to vote for Elijah's daddy. (That's his little boy). When we left Harper was so mad. She said "I thought we were going on a boat with Elijah's daddy". ha ha ha!
I took this picture of Harper yesterday and thought she looked so much like Drew Barrymore. The lips and eyes.
Do people ever tell you that you look like a celebrity? And if so, who? I'd love to hear stories. And even see a pic!
When I was in college, people always said I looked like Tiffani Amber Thiessan. We had the same hair and chubby cheeks back in her 90210 days. We are the same age and both have "Harpers" now. I've also been told I look like Lisa Whelchel. We have the same squinty brown eyes.
