I've had a few prayer requests sent my way recently. I'm not always good at getting them posted (even though I desperately want to - I just don't do a great job of keeping up with them) but I thought I would post a few and maybe you can put any you have in the comments and we can pray over each other.
I have had a heaviness lately of so many who are going through SO much. Some of the ones I'm about to list just take my breath. And yet I know it could easily be my family. Life can change in an instant. I'm trying so hard to treasure every minute.
1. A local family here was traveling the day after Christmas and had a wreck and two of their three teenage daughters were killed. The third is in critical condition in a hospital and the father is unemployed. The parents were both hospitalized as well. Please pray for the Boxx family and also that their needs will be provided.
2. There is another local girl who is the mother of a 6 month old baby and she is in the hospital on ECMO in critical condition with MRSA in her lungs. Having had a few MRSA infections and a baby who was almost put on ECMO - this pulls on me. So scary.

3. This is from Nicole Walker:
I am a 1st grade teacher in TN and I have a student who lost her little brother last Friday. He was 1. Right now, his death is undetermined, but his mother found him in the early morning hours not breathing. The family had him on life support until6:00 that evening, when they finally had to take him off and he went to be with the Lord. The funeral is today. He had 4 other siblings that are all under the age 11. I know they’re going to have a hard time today and from now on, so my request is that you and your awesome prayer warriors lift this family up in prayer today. Pray for strength and understanding and peace. Also, I wanted to invite you to participate in a balloon release at 11 am today. We will be releasing the balloons right after his services and I know a lot of people from everywhere are doing so with us. HIs favorite color was green and his eyes were blue so that’s the colors we are letting go.
4. A reader Elizabeth wrote me with this:
Her Aunt Bea had cancer and her son John was having twins. She wanted to live to see the twins. They were born at 25 weeks in September. Bea passed a few days after. The twins have JUST come home from the NICU and have a healthy NICU bill now and John died in an accident on Saturday. His wife is left with two older children as well as the twins. I can't imagine. Praying for this family.
5. This family had two daughters with a rare genetic disease. They lost one daughter in 2012 at the age of 7 and their 11 year old daughter passed this week. I can't even begin to imagine the pain. Praying for God to hold them.
Will you pray?
