Whew!
We've had a busy weekend.
Friday afternoon we went to a lemonade stand that some of our friends have their kids host to remember their grandpa who died of ALS five years ago. They normally donate money to ALS research but this year they gave the money to our friend Xander's family. It's fun to see so many people turn out to support it!
Our church had a "Parents Night out" on Friday night so Scott and I got a DATE NIGHT!!! I'm sad to say it's been MONTHS since we have been on a date. And we enjoyed it! We just went to eat because I didn't want to leave the girls too late but it was nice to be able to just be alone for a little bit.
My dad has been in India for the last two weeks training pastors. This is something he does once or twice a year. He flew in Saturday afternoon and we went to meet him at the airport with my mom! He didn't know we were coming with her. The girls were so excited to greet him!
The hogs played Saturday night so the Stamps were decked out in our Razorback colors!
I love smocked bishops. These were their baby dresses and I pulled them out and had them wear as shirts. 12 mo and 2T and they can still fit!
Today has been a whirlwind. Scott and I had nursery duty and then we filled in the 2 yr room for Sunday School. We came home and ate lunch and then we went to a Super hero birthday party for our friend Hudson. It was so cute. We left there and went back to church for preschool choir. And then once we were home - I had to go to the grocery store because the cupboards are bare.
And now I'm ready for bed. :-)

I just want to add in an apology before I end.
I'm finding myself in a super busy season and it's all wonderful things and I'm loving it but some things are having to go. I've never been great at email. It's the thing that has haunted me forever. I know so many of you have written me and now you are shaking you head and saying "Yeah RUDENESS - you never wrote me back."
I'M SOOOOOOOOOO SORRY!!!!
There just aren't enough hours in the day. The people pleaser in me wants to stay up until 2 a.m. trying to catch up but I just can't. So I'm apologizing now. If you don't hear from me (or haven't heard back from me) - I promise I'm nice and I love you and I read everything - I just can't find the hours to get everything done. (And I know we are ALL busy - not a good excuse - but I'm just being honest.)
