Our town has First Friday each month - they have a bunch of stuff up on the square. I took the girls in the late afternoon. We had so much fun walking around. We ran into a lot of people we knew and looked at all the booths.
Of course the highlight was pony rides. We could pretty much call it a night after that. I promise Hollis was more excited than she looked. ha!
My town is pretty excited because apparently Drew Barrymore just bought a house here. I'm very certain we will be BFF soon! :-)
Saturday our church held our annual clothing Giveaway. I worked all week at church helping to get ready. Our church donates clothes and then people can come shop for their family for free. It's such a great outreach for the community. And I had so much fun serving with all my friends. I think working together to do something that matters is even more fun than a dinner out.
Saturday night we went out to eat with Laurie and Steve and their girls. Always fun to get out together!
Now THIS is a girls night out.
