Well - summer has arrived at our house. School is out and today was our first free day.
And by some kind of miracle - both girls slept until 8 this morning. Let's hope we can keep that going!
Yesterday while the girls were in school - Scott and I had a lunch date. We ate at a nearby Amish restaurant that is so good and has out of this world desserts!
So funny to eat at Bliss and see some familiar faces on the wall! :-)
(Well - kind of familiar - the blond hair threw me off).
We went to the library today for Harper to have speech. My biggest job this summer will be keeping Hollis busy while Harper has speech twice a week.
I told you about the documentary I'm going to be in this summer. If you want to follow the journey - follow @caseyleighwiegand and @chriswiegand on Instagram. And then leave a comment with Casey for a chance to win $400. And use the hashtag #americanblogger.

My sweet grandparents lived in a small town in Arkansas and many years ago they had a wonderful pastor. That pastor had two daughters who both went to OBU. And the younger one (mom of a little girl), Emily, is a talented artist. And I'm going to give away one of her paintings. I love this! It's 18x24 so it would be a great size for any wall in your house. I love paintings with scripture or worship lyrics to uplift the home. If you leave a comment on this post - I will draw one lucky winner of this painting tomorrow night. And you can check out some more of Emily's work at www.artinme.blogspot.com
