OH how I love Memorial Day weekend.
What is not to love about the beginning of summer?
We had a low key weekend. Saturday we took Dawson to the town dog park. I think the girls had more fun than he did. (I love patriotic clothes so I love for the girls to wear them on Memorial Day weekend - we are so thankful for all those who fought for our freedom).
Poor Dawson was so happy to run around without a leash!
Saturday night the girls played in the sprinklers and we grilled out steaks.
Does life get any better?
After baths on Saturday night - we took the girls in their pj's and got ice cream. I mean - why not?
We also turned on the 90's station and introduced the girls to the music of our youth! :-)
Sunday Scott and I worked in the nursery. My friend Maegan's little girl Kampbell is one of Hollis and I's favorites. She is such a funny girl. I always tell Maegan she could be a 3rd Stamps girl with her personality. This picture cracks me up.
Sunday afternoon I took the girls to the splash park. They were so excited!
I put Hollis' hair in a ponytail for the first time. How cute is she?
We just hung around home all day today. The girls and I made homemade ice cream this morning.
These flag outfits make me SO happy.
Laurie and Steve came over for dinner. We grilled out hamburgers. I had to take a picture of the twins. They showed up in matching shirts.
I made chocolate cobbler (got the recipe from Pinterest) and peach cobbler to go with our ice cream.

When these girls get together there is always bound to be some form of princess dress going on.
Love them.
The girls had so much fun together and we got to visit and eat.
This sweet girl. She tries so hard to keep up with the big girls.
We have had a great weekend. I hope yours was great too!
Happy Summer!
