I'm not a big reader these days. I wish I was - I just have a hard time making time for it. But for all of my childhood and most of my adulthood - I LOVED reading. I have taken the girls to the library a lot lately and I get so nostalgic when I see all the children's books. There are so many great ones. We have a huge collection at our house and luckily my girls love books. Every night before bed Harper asks for us to "please read me a story".
(How cute are they in their "hello" shirts from Riffraff - one of our favorite stores!)
(When did Harper turn 13?)
There are so many books I can't wait to read with my girls like Little House on the Prairie, Box Car Children, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women.
Right now ....... these are books I love for the girls to read:
Harper LOVES Eloise. In fact - all she can talk about is going to a hotel since Eloise lives in one.
I just bought Harper a Madeline book for her birthday! I love these!
I LOVE Amelia Bedelia!!!!!
We also love Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious.
And lots of little Bibles. My girls LOVE little Bible Stories.
I'm always trying to think of books they would like. We also love all the Little Golden Books.
Your kids will all be at different stages of reading - so it will be fun to hear from older kids moms to get ideas or kids the same age!
