Today it's all about Window Treatments.
This is my #1 thing I have in mind that I want to change in my house right now. Drapes can be expensive so I'm saving up and I have ideas but I'm hoping y'all will give me good ideas and share with each other as well.
We have this large window in our dining room that I love but it was hard to know what to do with. I don't like leaving it open so I put these drapes inside the bottom part. Not the best - but I'm actually okay with it. It gives a little color to the room.
I've had all the drapes in our house in the main rooms since we moved in 8 years ago. The living room ones are too short and I think the pattern is starting to look outdated. I want a modern print. Like a geometrical print in maybe chocolate brown? I'm not sure. It's on my list of things to do one day.
I have two matching windows in my breakfast area and family room. I had this lady make these roman shades for the rooms and at the time I loved them but the love has faded. I have my eye on some large striped panels I want for this room. I think it will change the whole look - especially if they are long and hang from practically the ceiling.
