Prayer Requests

Life isn't fair, is it?

I was so thankful to spend a week at the beach with my family. I know I am so blessed.

And then I hate opening up my email to read a lot of prayer requests involving a lot of hard things. It's hard to understand. It's not fair that anyone has to go through so much of this. And I think to myself how unfair it is that right now - I'm not the one going through something when I deserve it. I don't deserve to have two healthy children. That's not how it works. Things don't happen because of who the person is..........

I haven't had to face a lot of mountains but I've had to climb a few hills and I know the hope and peace and comfort that comes from having people pray for you. So will you join me in praying for these people below?

* A reader wrote me to ask for prayer for her friend Jessica who lives in WI.  Jessica is divorced and her ex-husband came to visit their 3 daughters last week and while he was with them - he killed all three (ages 5,8 and 11). I can't imagine what she must be going through. * This family has 22 month old twin boys, Griffin and Logan, and they recently learned both boys have a terminal illness. Unspeakable. Pray pray pray for these boys and their parents.

* Please pray for Whitney and Bryant. She is a few weeks away from having baby Henley. Henley has been diagnosed with Osteogenesis Imperfecta. Her bones are fractured and brittle. This could possibly be fatal. Please pray for a miracle.

* Pray for Rebecca and Jeremy Shryock. They have 3 little boys and their middle child Drew was just diagnosed with cancer.

* A young mom of 3 small kids was recently killed as she was out jogging one morning. * Morgan, a 5 year old who has leukemia
