Happy Birthday Hollis

Hollis :

You are one year old today. It seems like it was just yesterday that we drove up to the hospital and got checked in ready to meet you.  I had no idea what you might look like or be like.

You were an 8 lb 13 oz bundle of pure joy! I was so thankful you were healthy!

You have been a source of pure joy to us in the last year.  You have the sweetest personality and it's growing every day.  

 I loved you so much from the moment I met you - but I love you 365x that now.  My love grows for you every day.  Every day I know you a little more and I know that when you are two - I will love you even more.  

 You are so calm and precious. You love to wave a little pageant wave to everyone. You act shy when everyone talks to you but then you will smile and flash your dimple once you warm up.

 You ALWAYS wake up happy. I love that about you. 

 You don't say a whole lot of words yet but you babble a ton.  You say "momma", "dada", "bye" and "wow". ha ha ha! It also sounds like you say "Giggle, giggle, giggle" a lot.

 You are a GREAT eater. And not such a great sleeper. 

You are so close to walking. I imagine by 13 months you will be stepping it out. 

I don't know your stats yet but you are around 24 pounds. You wear a size 12-18 months and a size 3 shoe.  You wear a size 4 diaper.  We just started on whole milk yesterday and you LOVED it.  We also switched to a big girl car seat this week.  The jury is still out on if you like that or not. 

God blessed us so much by giving us two precious girls. I thank Him every day for letting me be your mom.  You are the best gift I could ever be given.  Daddy and I love our little "baby bug" with everything we have.  You have stolen our hearts! 

Happy first birthday Hollis! I look forward to every birthday we will celebrate in your precious life.
