It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas around our house....................finally! I spent all weekend trying to get our house decorated. I have a few finishing touches. I'm no Martha Stewart but our house is looking much more festive! I'll share it all..............in a couple of weeks - we will have a SUYL Christmas home tour in 2 weeks!!
My favorite part of Christmas is the Christmas Cards. And I've been wanting to do something fun with them for a while. I remembered a few years ago seeing Boomama have a Christmas Card tree and I filed that away in my brain somewhere. I also have been loving all kinds of burlapy things on Pinterest lately so I decided I would make a few burlap touches to the Card tree.
I made these burlap rosettes. I'm so not crafty but you just need a glue gun. I found some rhinestone buttons at Hobby Lobby to add a little bling. I followed this tutuorial off of Pinterest.
I plan to make a few more of the bling rosettes and then I want to make some of these. The tutuorial on these is here.
I'm hoping to get my Christmas cards addressed and sent out today and finish up the rest of my house. And then we will be ready to drink hot chocolate, drive around and look at lights, go see Santa and listen to David Crowder's new Christmas CD (which has made my life complete).
Merry Christmas Y'all!
