Well friends................
It's that time of the year again. The MOST wonderful time of the year. College football has begun! If y'all read my blog - you know I'm a little nuts for college football - especially the SEC and ESPECIALLY the Arkansas Razorbacks! If you follow me on twitter - you might want to unfollow me for the next few months because I tend to get a little football crazy..............I apologize ahead of time. I can't help it - I LOVE me some Hog football!
I'm a little sad this year because for the first year since I was a little girl - I'm not going to any games. We let our season tickets go this year. It just didn't make sense to spend so much money and not use them. There is no way I could take both girls to a game and it would cost almost the National Debt to get a babysitter to keep both girls during a game (and I just don't think I could leave Hollis yet) so I'll be watching the games on TV. As with everything - it's just a season. Hopefully in about 3-4 years - we can get tickets and all 4 of us can go to games and enjoy it! Plus watching games on TV means I get to eat lots of good dips and chips and wear comfy clothes! And tweet obnoxiously. :-)
I went to Wal-Mart and literally EVERY aisle had razorback stuff on them. I was practically skipping I was so excited. They could have played the razorback fight song on repeat and it would have been the BEST!
I'm not going to the game today but I still had to support my team. I got this cute t-shirt at Wal-Mart!
I also dress up the girls for Razorback game day every Saturday in the fall! Even if we are just at home. It's just too much fun!
And seriously? I've looked at this picture so much today because she looks like a sorority girl calling the hogs at a game. Doesn't she look SO old in this outfit???? I am DYING over her today. We got this outfit from www.passionatelyrivalicious.
You need to check them out - and you might recognize a cute toddler on their website (although don't judge when you see her in LONGHORN apparel. ha! That's for our Uncle Chris and Aunt Carrie). They are running a contest on their facebook that you need to join in on also! www.facebook.com/
I tried to get a few pictures of my girls in their hog gear this morning but it is not easy to pose two kids.
This cracks me up. Hollis was so happy and smiley and Harper was crying because she didn't want her picture made. So typical. I think all of our pictures at this age are going to be like this.
Scott and his dad went to the game with Steve. I would be jealous except it is almost 100 degrees and we are playing Missouri State. I hope they have fun anyway! We girls are going to Chick-fil-a to eat and play instead.
