Especially when there is a ruffle on the bottom! :-)
I also feel like I need to write down Harper stuff almost daily now because she is getting funnier by the day. The last two nights we have put her to bed and she sings at the top of her voice for about an hour until she finally passes out. And for the last two nights she wakes up an hour or so later and when we go to check - she has been completely naked. I guess when she is doing her performances of "ABC" and "Jesus Loves me" - she also likes to take her clothes off. We need to get a video monitor on that girl.
Last night she was in her room playing and suddenly Scott and I could hear her praying and then she let out a really loud "Amen". It really convicted me that little eyes and ears are always watching and listening to what we do.
She has also started saying to me all the time "Momma's pretty". Now pretty is the last thing I feel right now but there is something very sweet about your little girl thinking you are pretty! :-) Am I right? (I know there will come a day when she will be SO embarrassed of me).
And I can't believe I haven't written about this sooner but one week ago almost exactly one of my very best friends, Hillary, had her first baby - a little girl named Sadie. Hillary lives about 3 hours from me and I'm dying to get my hands on that baby so I have to live through her tweets on twitter and texts and her blog. I also love experiencing motherhood through her eyes now. She was one of my bridesmaids and out of the four I had - two have two girls each, Hillary now has a daughter and my other friend Megan is expecting her first baby - a girl! So fun!
