I normally write just about my day and what we have been doing but today I'm have a list of things I want to link to/tell you about.
I also have a post brewing in my head that came to me in the middle of the night. It's so weird but sometimes I will wake up and have something in my head or heart that I feel like I need to post on. Sometimes it will seem really strange to me but I think "well - okay" and I do it and I'm always glad. Often I feel like it's God putting something on my heart to share. So I have one of those - and I'm going to post it later today. I don't know why. But I am.

1. I shared at the beginning of the year that I would no longer be doing giveaways and I really am trying to stay firm on that but the only times I have bent the rules is when someone approaches me with a book that I think would really encourage ya'll or music that I think would inspire you. I have the opportunity to do a few of those coming up in the next few weeks. I'm not a big fan of giveaways BUT I do want to pass these on because I think there are a lot of you out there that need one or more of these.
On my GIVEAWAY blog - I'm giving away FIVE copies of Shelia Walsh's "Beautiful things Happen When A Woman Trusts God". So many of you have written me asking how to trust God in hard times or you are being faced with something and you are asking "why?". I think this book would really help!

2. One of my friends wrote a really amazing Bible Study called "Sink or Walk on Water - Understanding and Coping with Life's Storms". If you are looking for something to do with a group or alone or you are dealing with a lot of issues and just need something to encourage you - I would love for you to check it out. Michelle and her husband Jason were our Sunday School teachers until they had to move states. They have 3 children including on son that has cerebral palsy and a son they adopted from Russian who also has CP. 3. I've been following the story of a sweet little boy just a little younger than Harper named Walker Rainey since last fall. Walker was diagnosed with cancer in September. They have recently ran out of treatment options and the diagnosis is not good. My heart breaks for their family and that sweet boy. Could you please remember then in your prayers. 4. There is a little girl who is 5 named Ava Hunter who was recently diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer. They live in FL and her grandfather is pastor of a church there. Not only is this family coveting your prayers - they are hoping there might be people out there who might have suggestions or experience with GBM - a rare cancer that doesn't respond to chemo or radiation.
As many people as read here - I'm hoping someone might know someone who has been touched by this or something about it.
