Last night we took Harper out to eat and we tried taking a bag full of entertainment instead of letting her eat right away. I took books and stickers and she stayed interested almost through our whole meal. It was SUCH a better experience! Thanks for the ideas!!! We were so happy we went to Wal-Mart and bought her a slide we have been wanting to get.
Scott set it up inside for the night and she went up and down it no less than 4536 times (no exaggeration). This morning before church she got some sliding in and then we moved it outside this afternoon and she was loving it still.
I thought I would answer a few questions ya'll have had for me in the last few posts.
1. I got my top from the birthday party at T.J. Maxx. It was $15. I love all things ruffles! I also love shopping at TJ. I know a lot of people don't like to dig but I am not one of those - I love the challenge.
2. I got Harper's pillow case dress off ebay when I was pregnant. I loved it so much then and still do. I have been waiting for her to be big enough to wear it - I can't believe she already can. It seemed HUGE when she was a baby. I wish I saved the ebay seller info but I didn't.
3. A lot of ya'll are concerned about my hair. ha! Just FYI - my hair is yes naturally dark dark brown. However I went gray in my early 20's and now my hair is snow white. I very gradually over about 12 years went blond. It's so much easier to cover the gray with blond hair. It would actually be more high maintenance to be brunette because the gray would show quicker. It's REALLY blond right now but I'm kind of liking it for summer and I'm sure I'll darken it closer to fall. Anyway - I'll probably always stay blond. I actually like being a blond. Maybe one day I'll just go my natural white.
4. Ya'll are very, VERY sweet but I'm really not any thinner. I think some pictures just are optical illusions. My arms are fairly thin - especially now because I carry a 30 lb baby about 80% of the day. My arms just ache at night so I'm getting a full day workout and it's showing! Now I just need something to work out my waist down all day because it is NOT looking thin. But I am still doing weight watchers off and on.

5. The drink dispenser ya'll asked about came from Sam's and is $20! I LOVE drink dispensers. I have a couple and if I had the storage space - I would have a TON! I think they are SO fun to entertain with!
6. I've decided once a month to do a post with a link list that you can link up to prayer requests - either on your blog or link to other's blogs who need prayer. I'm excited about this and think it will be a great way to gather prayer!! I hope you will participate and help me pray!!
7. I'm getting a lot of this same question in the comments - the sleep machine I think is REALLY helping. I just wish I would have bought it 16 months ago! We also got blackout panels to make her room dark and that has helped us get longer naps and she has been sleeping until 7:30 or 8 every morning (instead of 6!) We got a Graco sound machine - it was $40 in the baby section at Target. I love it so much I could marry it!

Okay - that's it for now. If you have any more questions (NICE ones only please!) - I will be happy to answer them in the comments!
