This morning Harper and I had play group. We had a big one with our whole group and we had a big Easter Egg hunt!

Today is also my best friend Laurie's birthday! So I picked up this cake to take to play group for dessert! Laurie and I have been friends for 18 years! That is so hard for me to believe. She is just like a sister to me and I love her dearly! And so does Harper! Happy Birthday Laurie!

Harper wasn't quite sure about the whole process. But she liked looking at the eggs. ha!
Several of the moms and kids - we had a house full there today - probably around 15 moms and 20 or more kids. It was a lot of fun. My friend Tracy hosted. She is literally the BEST hostess! She always has the best play groups and goes to so much trouble! (and she just got home from vacation!)

I have found out in the last two days that Harper LOVES playing outside. She just had so much fun walking all over their yard today and played so hard. And now she is down for a nap without so much as a peep. She CRASHED! Maybe we should have Easter egg hunts every day! ha!I just love this time of year! I remember dreaming of dressing up a little girl in smocked dresses and taking her to church on Easter - sometimes wondering if that would ever come true - and I am so thankful and blessed and cherish every moment!
