First of all - I was SO happy today because Harper had a great day in the nursery!! You have no idea how hard I have prayed today and it was so nice to go check on her twice and neither time was she crying or screaming. I'm so thankful for her sweet nursery workers who love on her! My parents were here today and got to go to church with us and see her in the nursery! And we went to lunch and she was so happy and did so good. OH it was just a great day!

My dad got home from India last night and we were so glad to have him home safe and sound. Tomorrow is his birthday and today is Grandparents day so we were glad to spend time with them! Harper is so blessed to have four wonderful grandparents in her life!
We were playing with her in her room and she started pulling up on me!!! She is just changing and growing so quickly these days!

I told ya'll yesterday about my "faith" dress and then I found out something SO amazing about it and I just have to share because I want to show you how God is at work even when you don't know it and feel like your prayers are not being answered.
But first I feel like I should share that YES - I love having a girl but I used to DREAM of having three boys. I would have been over the moon if we had had a boy. I don't want anyone to think I would have been unhappy with a boy. I dreamed of a boy playing football and I still secretly wish for a boy if we have another child. There is nothing sweeter than a little boy. It's just that I just always had this feeling I would have a daughter. I can't explain it but I just knew.
Anyway..........I think this is unbelievable. When I shared the story of the dress yesterday - the lady who I bought it from off of etsy left me a comment and then she e-mailed me to share something with me and it just gave me chills and made me cry. She has been reading my blog since Harper was born but had no idea she had one time made a dress for her until she saw it yesterday. And she remembered it because when she made it - she felt like God asked her to pray over the dress and to pray for the little girl who would be wearing it. She had no idea that at the the time there WAS no little girl yet or that the little girl would really need prayers at one point. See how God goes ahead and works in such amazing ways???

HE LOVES US - OH HOW HE LOVES US!

And finally - look who is starting to crawl!!!! When did she get so big???

So this is my 1000th post!!! WOW - that is a whole lot of rambling from me. So in honor of my 1000th post - I was wondering if you read my blog - I would love to hear from ALL of you - even the lurkers who have never commented - and I would love to hear one thing you are thankful for today! It would be great to start off this week with a LONG list of uplifting praises and I would love to hear from EVERYONE who is reading!!! Ya'll hear from me every day - now I'd like to hear from you!!!!

My husband was in the Army and he did two tours in Iraq. He was there for over a year the second time around and we missed him so much while he was gone. He is home now and I love being together as a family. He is out of the Army too so we don't have to worry about another deployment. My daugther is 2 1/2 and this will be her first Christmas with her daddy and I can't wait.
I love reading your blog, you are such a positive person, and I find your encouragement refreshing.

Last August, our first baby(Faith Marie)went to be with Jesus. My water broke at 5 months with no explanation. She was beautiful, perfect. This past year I have drawn closer to the Lord and with our tragic loss has come many gifts from Him. I discovered the blog world after we lost her which is how I came upon your blog. I am thankful for Jesus, for inspiring blogs like yours, and right now I am especially thankful that the Lord has put courage in my heart to try again!

Hi Kelly - I've been lurking for about a month, but have yet to comment. I'm intrigued by your following! I went through minor infertility issues, but after 2 years had a beautiful daughter who is now 2 years old and has a little sister who is 7 months old! I am so thankful for all the blessings I have - my husband, my children, my family and friends. Thanks for blogging. Tricia

I love reading your blog. I think it is because you are just a normal girl living your life! Anyways...I am so thankful for my wonderful Savior Jesus Christ. I am not worthy of love like that. I am thankful for my husband of 5 years and my 2 beautiful healthy children. Thank you for sharing your beautiful little girl with us. Reading about her makes me remember when my little girl was her age. It wasn't that long ago...but it feels like forever sometimes. And the things you never thought you would forget...you sometimes forget. So I think it is great that you are documenting her life so well for her!

Kelly I ran across your blog maybe 2 days after you had Harper- and have been reading it ever since! Your blog is such a testimony and source of constant encouragement!

I found out this morning that a former coworker's 2nd child was born Thursday w/ severe lung problems. We also found out this morning that he has greatly improved over the weekend. The parents are such a godly couple and the circumstances surrounding their little boy remind me so much of little Harpers. Hopefully their situation will be a source of nonstop praises until he is completely well!

Kelly, I am a newlywed and I am thankful for the way in which God brought my husband into my life. I was nearing the end of college and hadn't really dated anyone in four years - I was convinced I would be alone for the rest of my life and would cry at night (not wanting anyone to know how much it was really bothering me). On Christmas morning of my senior year, I finally gave it to God. I knew it was my last semester in college and I wanted to make it count with my awesome girlfriends. Two weeks later God brought my husband into my life. Whenever I stop to think about it, I'm in awe of the way things happen.

Thanks for continuing to put yourself out there on your blog and for hosting the blog hops. I've made some wonderful blog friends through your blog - it's been an incredible ride!!

I admit it. I am a lurker! This is only the second EVER comment I have made on a 'stranger's' blog. My own little girl just turned 1 in August. We waited and prayed for her for nearly 2 1/2 years. I follow a variety of blogs, but enjoy hearing from other young moms. It seems to be a refreshing reminder that there are so many others who are seeking to love their families while being faithful to Jesus. Some days, like your recent Sunday, leave me feeling confident and giddy for this season. Then there are days, like my Sunday (Maren was NOT happy to be in the nursery!), that wear on my very last nerves. Those are the days when I spend whatever moment I can with the Lord, and especially enjoy hearing from women like yourself! I pray God will continue to bless your readers through another 1000 posts!

Hi Kelly! I don't think that I have ever commented on your blog but I read it every day and it's really a breathe of fresh air to see someone so happy, blessed, and full of faith!

I have to say I am very blessed and thankful to have such wonderful family and friends! Especially my mother , who provides me with constant reminders of how much God provides to us and how we should cherish every moment that we are given.

So on that note.. I would like to share the Sanders family motto that will also become my family motto when I marry one day... it is "Don't gripe, Don't complain, Thank God for everything!" My mother has this in her entry way and even though it's very simple it's a reminder to everyone that walks in that we should be thankful for everything!

I am a lurker. I read blogs, but don't blog myself. I am actually particular about the blogs I read. It has to be a blog that contributes to my personal growth as a Christ follower. I went through infertility for 11 almost 12 years. Eighteen months after we stopped we became parents through adoption. I relate to many things you write about having Harper in your life and the miracles along the way. We got to be in the room when our son was born. I even got to catch him when he came out and my husband got to cut the cord. Our birthmom is just amazing and we are grateful to her every minute of every day. I am over the top grateful for my son.
God is just amazing and never fails to redeem the shattered places in our lives. Thanks for allowing me into your life a bit through blogging. I am blessed.

I love the story of how God works in amazing ways! I am so glad you have your blessing. You touched my heart yesterday when you posted about going to the beach and praying.

I am one of the women on your prayer list waiting for a baby. I had a miscarriage in January. BUT I am thankful that I know who my Jesus is. I am thankful that even though I went through something so difficult He has never left my side. He has never changed. He never disappoints. He knows the plans! I am still holding onto my hope that one day I will have a blessing to hold.

Thank you for sharing your life, for being so encouraging, for being a witness for Jesus.

So tell Scott that Michael Roberts wife reads your blog. And through me he has kept up with you guys and prayed for Harper. We go to all the AR football games too and have struggled with infertility also. I feel we have a lot in common. I am so thankful for the body of believers that encourage and pray for their brothers and sisters. I also thank God for the work he is doing in me. I am one of your many readers and I had left you a comment a few months back regarding breast feeding and pumps. I appreciate your email with the information.

I wanted to tell you what I am thankful for. I am thankful to God for our 7 wk old son. See, 5 yrs ago April 25th we lost twin sons to premature labor (21 1/2 wks). We had conceived them through fertility treatments. After loosing them we never thought that we would have a biological child of our own. This past September God gave me a dream that included my grandfather and my husband's aunt (both passed away in April but different years). Did you notice that we lost them all in the month of April - sons, grandfather and aunt? Anyway, my husband's aunt told me that they had a little boy for us and we needed to come get him ASAP. So, I woke up and asked God if this was true and if it is then please let it happen. Well, in November we became pregnant on our own (with Gods help)... And to make it even better we had a BOY!

Hudson was born July 25th - 4 days after my bday. All 3 of our sons were born on the 25th of the month. God is so good!!!

Thank you for listening,

I just started following your blog, but it is such a joy to read and have read all of your previous posts!

I am thankful for my grandma, who I call "Mam." I got a frightening text message from my sister last week saying our grandma was in the hospital. "Mam" is a very healthy woman with no health problems and attends her small country church every Sunday.

She was in the hosptial for 2 nights as they were running tests on her. She had been having "dizzy spells" for a while and they believed this time she had a mini-stroke. The doctor said there was no damage and she was released to go home. She was given medication for high blood pressure and will be watched for a while. I prayed so hard and shed so many tears while we were unsure of what was going on.

I thank God for answering my prayers and sending her home. I pray that he continues to give her strength so she can be back to her full potential, although she is one lady who deserves taking as many days as she needs to just rest!

Reading the stories of you and your family allowed me to trust that everything would be ok!

Thank you Kelly!

For my 23rd birthday, she gave me a framed promise. A promise that she would pray for my future husband and she did for years. When I returned to God's will for me and met my husband years later, I learned that he had been depressed and suicidal around the time that my friend started praying for him! At that time he decided to go to a Christian College and through that college, he changed his life, met the friend that introduced us...I believe whole heartedly that my friend's prayers for him made a huge difference. Amen for prayer!!!

Hey Kelly! I'm Lindsey from Nashville. I have been reading your blog since Harper was sick. A friend told me about your blog and I have been keeping up with it ever since. Yes I am a lurker! HA! I have a 3 month old son James that I am so thankful for. But I am especially thankful that I get to stay at home with him. Big thanks to my hubby! I love reading your blog, you are so inspiring. When I first had James it was really hard those first 6 weeks and I went on your blog and read some of your posts about having hard days with Harper and it made me feel like I wasn't alone, so thank you!

I have been a reader for about a year and a half and have prayed with you through your pregnancy after after Harper's birth! It is great to have other Christian women in the "blog world" to be inspired and encouraged by!!!

One thing that I am so grateful for is that my family - hubby, two daughters (9 & 7) and myself are all saved by the Grace of God! I praise Him that we are complete in Jesus!!!

Hi Kelly! I started reading your blog in those first couple of day's of Harper's hospital stay. (In the "Pink Palace". ;))I prayed for her everyday she was there, and I'm SO glad to see how big and happy she is! And yes you are right, the Lord does work in very mysterious ways. Just when I think we as a family are out of options & I'm not sure what will happen or how we'll get through to the next month, he always steps in and comes through for us. "God bless the broken road's" right?!? =)
I'm VERY thankful for a wonderful husband,(& I'm also very blessed to have him be my BEST friend) 2 happy, healthy little boy's. My family, My home, all the blessing we receive... I could just go on and on. =) Congrats on 1000!

I have been a reader several months, but have never posted. I have had two miscarriages and pray daily that God will someday give me a baby - you have no idea how uplifting your posts have been! Thank you!

Kelly- I love reading your blog and keeping up with Harper because Harper and my grandson Caden could be twins! It's so hilarious when I see pics of Harper and my daughter and I will comment on how much they look alike. He was born on January 1st so they are almost the same age and he is what I am so thankful for today. Being a grandmother is awesome!

Hi Kelly! I really enjoy reading your blog. It's funny because our mom's have become blog buddies from reading your blog. My mom is Becky from "Looking Through the Eyes of Luv". You seem like such a sweet person and someone I would be friends with in "real life". Today I am so thankful and humbled by God entrusting my three precious little boys to me. He is good!
