HARPER - YOU ARE SIX MONTHS OLD! WHAT ARE YOU UP TO THESE DAYS???
You weigh around 16 lbs (25-50%)- Still in a size 2 diaper
- You wear size 6-9 months clothes
- Overnight - you have become the Happiest baby!! You just smile all the time. And you smile at everyone you see. You like people to notice you and smile back. I have a feeling you are going to be a social butterfly and I'm SO happy about that.
- You just started taking a pacifier a week ago and you are now addicted. It makes life happier for everyone.
- Your favorite song these days is "This little light of mine". You can be screaming your lungs off and if I sing it to you - you will calm down and just start laughing.
You really love your exersaucer. You go to town playing in it and you used to just kind of slump over but now you stand up straight! You like to sit in it and watch Praise Baby on TV. I call it "watching a drive in movie".- You can sit facing out in your stroller now and I think you really like that.
- You still love to talk really loud but now instead of just noises - it's starting to sound more like words.
- Last night - the night you turned 6 months - you slept in your bed for the very first time.
- You just had your first couple of road trips including your first stay in a hotel and you did so GREAT!
- You have been eating rice cereal and applesauce for about 2 weeks now and you are a GOOD eater! We are going to start veggies this week and I have a feeling you will do so good!
- You are starting to have such a personality and I can tell you are going to be so fun. I can't wait to see the little girl you will be. I know that you will bring me joy every day of my life. Your daddy and I love you so much that we almost can't stand it.
- Your grandparents are pretty crazy about you too. I'm afraid they are all 4 going to move in with us just to be near you every day.
I can't believe you are half a year old!!!! I hope the next 6 months don't go by so fast. We are going to be celebrating your first birthday WAY before I'm ready! I love you so much Precious Girl!!!!

Her tutu is so adorable!!! What a cutie! I just now realized how close in age she is to my daughter. I thought mine was so much older, but mine is 8 months old. :) They could be friends, if we didn't live so far apart.. :)

Kelly I've said it before and I'll say it again- you make me SO excited to be a mom!! Little Harper is precious, how funny it is to see how much she has grown month to month! I even show my husband (he's not quite ready for kids yet.. haha we're still newlyweds) and he agrees that Harper is a darling baby! My daughter was born in February and seeing how old Harper is getting is scary because my Elaina is right behind her!
Girl, if you are still having blowouts (I mean if Harper is, haha!) you have GOT to move her up a diaper size! Elaina is 15 lbs and can still fit in a 2 easily, but she was having poo blowouts all the time, so I moved her up to a 3 at 14 lbs and they STOPPED cold! (I know the weight limit on the diaper package says you have a long time, but after 4 kids I have to tell you-- Ignore the package and put on the diaper that fits and stops the leaks!)
*Sigh* I'm feeling really sad that I have not remembered to take the monthly pictures like you've done with Harper... It's so special to have that record!

Precious. Praying the next six months creeps by a bit slower. Enjoying all of her first holidays... Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas... I can't explain how wonderful it all is!!!

I love your blog! I honestly started reading b/c your daughter and my daughter are only 1 month apart (my daughter was born Feb. 15th (almost a Valentine's Baby that I hoped for...).

It won't be long until she has that pink card with her age on it in her mouth! My middle boy always had to hear "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" when he was fussy. He had the same reaction...turned off the tears and just smiled! Now he is playing spring and fall baseball! They grow up so fast :(
