Several of you have sent me buttons for this blog series and I'm still working on picking one to use. So hopefully by next week.............at least I finally got all the links in one place! ha!
So this week is all about showing us the rest of your wedding (except the reception). Tell us about your wedding.......what songs did you have, who was in your wedding party, .....really anything you want to show or tell about.
I'm SO sad because I just don't have any pictures to put on here. I'm too tired and lazy to go scan any in so I'll just put up two I happen to have on my computer.
We got married on November 1, 2003. I love fall and I love fall colors. I still really like my bridesmaid dresses and we all carried fall flowers. I got married at my parent's church in the town I grew up in. My dad is a Baptist Pastor and he not only walked me down the aisle but he performed the ceremony and that was special to me. At the end of the wedding - he gave us the Bible he used to marry us and he and mom had engraved our names on it. It's the Bible I use today. Scott and I put together a wedding slide show that we showed at our wedding that showed pictures of us growing up and then during our dating years. There were three songs in that slide show "A page is turned" by Bebo Norman, "Could Not ask for more" by Edwin McCain, and "Walk with Me" (I can't remember who it's by but it's a great song). Oh we also had the Razorback fight song in the middle with all of our Razorback pictures. I had a family friend sing "My Reedemer" by Stephen Curtis Chapman.
We got married at 2 in the afternoon so after we did pictures, we ate pizza for lunch while we waited for the wedding. So my mom had us all aprons monogrammed with our names on them so we didn't get messed up! ha!
I had 4 bridesmaids: Laurie - she was my maid of honor. She is my best friend who I've been friends with since college. Next is Megan - a sweet friend I've had for years and she moved away to NC right after her wedding and I miss her still. Next is Hillary. She and Megan were best friends from college and Laurie and I got to know them many years ago. She got married last September and moved to Little Rock. And last is Kandi. Kandi was my Matron of Honor and was my college roommate. She and her husband are celebrating FIFTEEN years of marriage today which doesn't seem possible. Each of these girls are so special to me. I was so thankful to have them with me on my big day!
UPDATE: My mom came to my rescue and sent me a few more pics to share:
I loved the long train on my dress - I felt very Grace Kelly from the back!
I need to note that we got married in the fall and I had to schedule around the Razorback's. We got married on an away game day. But the hogs played at Kentucky that day and it ended up being a 7 overtime game that we won. So we missed a very exciting game (but it was worth it).

Oh! My dad walked me down the aisle and performed the ceremony! And he was a Baptist pastor. And we grew up about 30 minutes from each other! :)
So so so pretty!! And of course my beautiful cousin Hillary standiing beside you!!
I love those aprons! So cute! You were a BEAUTIFUL bride!
That's a great idea for a pic with the aprons. Your bridesmaid dresses a very pretty, very classy. Beautiful photos of Harper earlier, too!
I love the fall colors! When I got married there was a Martha Stewart magazine out that showed a wedding with the fall stuff and I wanted it soooo bad. Mini pumpkins and all (I was married in November, too), but Mom just wasn't convinced so we comprised with burgundy and champagne. Oh well! Thanks for hosting this series, I love visiting everyone's!
Love your colors!! And I have already decided that I'm using that song by Edwin McCain, too...whenever that happens! It just speaks perfect of what I know I'll be feeling that day.
What beautiful girls...I love the fall too! What a great time to get married - so special that your Dad walked you down the aisle. Thanks for sharing!
i got married in Sept. of 1980 and had the same colors of bridesmaid dresses! Dark Chocolate brown. I had pale peach, aqua and cream flowers. I liked your better, but I like aqua! One of my jr. bridesmaids asked me what color her dress would be and and I told her brown, she said BROWN? My first wedding and i have to tell people BROWN? Why can't you have blue or pink or yellow? Well, I can say that she swirled and twirled all night.. guess brown wasn't so bad after all.
Oops...I meant to say, walked you down the aisle AND performed the ceremony!
I love fall! It's my favorite season as well. We chose September for our wedding because in Chicago, fall starts in mid-September. I wanted to use bold colors. Love the apron idea!! How cute! You were a gorgeous bride!
I just HAVE to tell you that my husband and I had Edwin McCain's "I Could Not Ask For More" in our wedding too. I love that song!
Not only that, but in looking at your wedding pictures, my bridesmaid dresses were VERY similar too. Only in black. Shoot! Now, I'm going to have to go look for a wedding picture to post.
Cute aprons!
I love "A Page is Turned" by Bebo Norman! Such a beautiful song.
Those aprons are so spicy! I like em!
I, too, am too lazy to scan in my wedding pics but I can tell you that my husband's family and friends called the hogs right after we got married! There were lots of Texas fans who were not happy about that! Now I am a hog fan right along with them!
beautiful wedding pics! LOVE the fall colors! One of our friends sang "A page is turned" by Bebo Norman at our ceremony and our first dance was to "Could Not ask for more" by Edwin McCain. LOVE those songs, I still cry EVERY time I listen to them!!! Our 7th Anniversary is in a month!
ahhh my anniversary is November 1st! I loved your flowers and dresses! I obviously loved mine too!
Thanks so much for doing this series!
I love the fall pics! I did it in the fall too!
Kelly, I LOVE your flowers! I always wanted to have a fall wedding, but didn't want to wait any longer, so hubby and I got married in February. The aprons are so cute!! Such a great idea!
I love Stephen Curtis Chapman - I just heard him sing last weekend at a Women of Faith Conference in Seattle - so touching. He sang "Cinderella" too - not a dry eye to be seen....Mandisa was there too...what gifts they have!
L in Alaska
I loved the girls dresses... If we were ever to do it again we would do either a fall wedding or a winter wedding (I love snow) but i fear i would slip on ice lol!
I had "A Page is Turned" by Bebo Norman sung at my wedding too! I love that song! I knew the first time that I heard it (in middle school), that I wanted it in my wedding someday. Luckily my brother and sister-in-law are amazing singers and performed it for us!
What a fun idea to have pizza at your reception!
I love to read your "show us" post/links that you do on Fridays even though I've never played along. It gave me great ideas for my kitchen and these wedding post are just beautiful!! I have to admit I've never made it through all the links, but I try!! Amazing idea!!
YOur wedding dresses and decor are timeless! They will never look "funny" after however many years... I love that and tried to do that with my wedding as well! What a gorgeous wedding party - especially the bride!!
How sweet that your dad PERFORMED your ceremony! I wish you could see my video and how my dad barely said "her mother and I" - it was a tear jerker! He could have never stood up talked the rest if the ceremony! Haha! He is an elder in our church and did get to baptize me many many years ago, so I guess I'll settle for that wonderful occasion =)
My dad is also a Baptist preacher and walked me down the aisle and performed my ceremony. My Grandpa is a pastor as well, so he did the giveaway part 'who gives this woman...' and then he prayed , and cried. So sweet. We also had a SCC song performed, but it was 'I Will Be Here'. We did a wedding slideshow too, but we just had Phillips, Craig and Dean's song 'Shine On Us' playing. I loved the pictures! You were gorgeous!
So beautiful!
Cxx
I LOVE the aprons over your dresses! Those are beautiful pictures, you are all beautiful!
I love fall colours for weddings!! Y'all look so pretty!
So cute! Love the apron idea!
We had the Bebo Norman song "A Page is Turned" sung during our wedding along with The Lord's Prayer. Those were the only two songs I wanted. I heard the Bebo song MANY years before I ever met my husband and decided I wanted it at my wedding. Love it!

Add me to the "My Dad is a Baptist preacher and walked me down the aisle and married me" club. :)
Right before we walked down the aisle, he opened his little book and showed me a picture of him holding me when I was a little girl. I about lost it!!!
I love your fall colors! The aprons are darling too, what a cute idea!
I love the fall colors (we were married in October of 2007.) I love the dresses everyone wore!!
We had "A Page is Turned" in our ceremony! LOVE that song... and so fitting, that the Lord gives us second chances. I believe the "Walk with me" song is by Caedmon's Call. Love it! OUr wedding was in November also!
My dad is a baptist pastor as well! He walked me down the aisle too. I love your fall flowers, it actually excites me for fall 2009! ha!! Great idea about the aprons.
Is the "Walk With Me" song "Will You Walk With Me" by Ross King? It's a beautiful wedding song. He and his wife sang it at one of my friend's weddings a few years ago. They were all close friends.
Such a pretty wedding! We had "A Page is Turned" in our wedding too. I love that song! Cute idea for the aprons!
I love the bridesmaids dresses and flowers! Such a beautiful color combination!
Thanks for hosting this! It's so fun!
That picture with the aprons is just too cute!
BTW, your wedding anniversary is my birthday.
Could we do a "show us your wedding cake?" My best friend is getting married and is loving your "show me your wedding theme. I thought that she might be able to get some ideas from other people's wedding cakes. Thanks.

Thanks so much for hosting this! I'm loving all the wedding pictures :)
I was wondering if you'd considered doing just receptions next week (as this could include the first dance, cake, decorations, get away, etc.) and then doing honeymoons the next week. Totally just a suggestion though!
Love your dress. I think it is so cool that your father married you. And to get that bible makes it even more special. I love that you played I could not ask for more, by Edwin McCain. That was the song my husband and I had our first dance to.
What beautiful pictures and a beautiful bride you make!!! I so want to participate in this, but I have the same problem. We were married 6 years ago...NO digital pictures! I am just too lazy too to pull my box of pictures down and scan them. Plus, I know it will take A LOT longer than it should...
I LOVE your blog!! I was telling my hubby about the tri tip yesterday...he didn't realize only Cali's ate it either!
Blessings!
Kelli
I forgot...I would love to do just a wedding cake one! My wedding cake was my favorite part (besides the "I do" part!). :)
I LOVE a page is turned!!! You are beautiful!
Those are adorable! And seriously, we had the EXACT SAME colors - brown dresses, gold and burgundy flowers....I was like, wait a second....I've seen that somewhere! ;)
We had "A Page is Turned" at our wedding, too. We put it in the ceremony right after I got to my husband at the end of the aisle, my dad gave me away, and then we had to walk up some pretty steep steps to the stage. I cried the whole way down the aisle and then sobbed audibly during the entire song. I still cry EVERY time I hear it. We're really lucky to have some amazing friends in music, so Reggie and Ladye Love Smith sang it for us! http://reggieandladyelove.musiccitynetworks.com/
If you've never heard them, check it out!
Your dresses and flowers are so pretty! Love the chocolate dresses! Isn't Fall the BEST time of year? I was married in the Fall, too :) So special that your Dad performed the ceremony ... what a precious memory!
Like you, my mom opted for a fall wedding (on opening day of hunting season, much to my father's friend's chagrin). Only yours is SO much nicer and more beautiful. My mom even laughs at her 1972 choices today -- polyester dresses with orange bodice and gharish floral skirts and DRIED flowers! :) It's as 70's as you can possibly imagine. But the marriage is more important than the wedding, and the MARRIAGE is as strong as ever.
I love your girls' dresses and the flowers are just gorgeous!
Will you be putting the Archive feature back on your blog that allows readers to re-read old posts? I miss that one!!
I love the fall colors. Fall is my favorite time of year. I think the apron idea is so great, my mom would have been thinking the same thing!
That brown is so beautiful. I love fall!!
Beautiful bride, beautiful friends and beautiful flowers.
Thanks for sharing.
Blessings today and always,
Kaye
Matthew 21:22
my daddy married me and my hubby
but i decided that i wanted my brother to walk me down the isle. i never felt more excited to see my daddy and my husband to be as i walked down the isle. it was great to see both of their expressions, and something that i wouldn't have had if my daddy would have walked me down the isle.
I got married in November as well. It was November 14,1998. for Chicago it was 60 degrees. What a nice day and the reception overlooked Lake Michigan.
I don't have a scanner so I can not print anything.
But I too like the fall and it was 9 months to the day that my husband proposed. (yes on Valentine's Day).
Love the color of your bridemaids dresses.
Kelly we had the same colors as you! We had choco brown and orange. Those aprons were adorable! What a neat idea.
I don't have any pics on my computer either, but maybe I will scan some in later or tomorrow! AK got her shots today (YIKES!) so I cleared the day thinking she might be fussy and just need her momma to rock and hold her! I am SO HAPPY to oblige!
You looked beautiful!
We got married in November because I love fall, too. I worked our wedding day around the Razorback football schedule. They had an away game on the 10th so we got married that day!
My bridesmaids' dresses were brown also and we all carried burnt orange calla lillies. I like your brown/orange taste!:)
We have very similar taste!! I was married November 10, 2007. I also used all the same colors. The guys had chocolate brown suits. Our bouquets look so much alike!! My mom has our picture CD but she is going to me e-mail me some pictures. I would love for you to stop by and take a look.
I think about you and your adorable Harper often. You are an inspiration to women of all ages. Your faith is amazing!!
Such a darling little thing, you are!
:) we had "a page is turned" played at our wedding too, well actually it was supposed to be sung but last minute that didnt work out :) Loved the pics!
Beautiful flowers! I love reading about weddings!!
Fall weddings really are the best! We got married in the NC mountains in early October, and it was absolutely perfect. The aprons are a great idea- although I was more worried about the guys being messy eaters as opposed to the girls! Thanks for doing this Kelly, it is so SO much fun!
I love the aprons idea (wish I had one on my wedding day!) My entry was posted on Wednesday for some reason - please don't disqualify me! I honestly don't know what happened, but love this idea!
Beautiful wedding, Kelly! Who made your dress? It is gorgeous!!
Hope you have a fantastic weekend!
I'm participating for the first time this week and a, so excited! I love that Laurie was your maid of honor and now you two are raising your little girls together... makes me excited for that stage with my girlfriends (in quite a few years haha) Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures!
My dad is a pastor as well. He walked me down the aisle and my grandfather who is also a pastor did the giveaway and then my dad took over. Maybe you could do a post to see how many PK's there are out there! That would be fun!
Christen
The slide show at our wedding was played to "A page is turned" by Bebo....I cry every time I hear that song, such a beautiful testimony. Love your Fall wedding...I would have loved a Fall wedding but just couldn't wait to live together, got engaged in December and then married in May. :)
That's cute that you had to marry around football season! One of my friends had to do the same thing with her fall wedding!
I LOVE that picture of ya'll at the altar!!!
~GORGEOUS PHOTOS OF ALL!
Love all the pretty fall colors.
What a true blessing to have such a wonderful wedding.
lovely dresses!
my wedding is in october, so I don't have anything to share right now. boo!
I was at that game!!!!! (cheering for the BLUE team) And yes it was long and exciting.
My dad was a Baptist pastor. He walked me down the isle and then did the wedding. Because I knew he would have a very difficult time with it, my husband and I memorized all of our vows and said them to each other so my Daddy would have to say very little!
Your dress is beautiful! I'm not posting because I married 25 years ago (this past May) and my dress would be very out-of-date and of course I have no digital photos. But I will tell you that my colors were Royal Blue and White (Kentucky colors!!!!) Yes, I bleed blue. (but the colors also matched the church, which is a big deal to me!) But, being a good SEC fan, I cheer for you all unless they are playing the Wildcats!
Love your blog! Enjoy reading it every day.
Yvonne
Love those fall colors. You are just so pretty Kelly! Beautiful wedding pictures.
you were a beautiful bride. love the aprons. that is so cute

Your comments about the Razorbacks always crack me up. Both of our boys are fall babies and both times my husband has said "I wonder what game is that week" when we found out our due date. When our first son was born, there happened to be an ESPN game that week so the night we brought him home there was a Razorback game on Thursday night. I have pics of them watching their first game together. When our second son was born, we brought him home on Saturday and the following Saturday, my husband made the 6 hour drive across the state to see AR play. Yes, he left me at home with a 4 year old and 1 week old to see the Razorbacks. Okay, my mom was here with me, but see where his loyalties lye. Oh and by the way, our oldest sons initials are SEC - no coincedence. LOL
Your pictures are beautiful. You were a lovely bride and I LOVE your colors. I got married in October 2000 and wanted to do fall colors. I have loved orange and brown since WAY before they were popular colors to like, but we had a purple and blue sanctuary, so there was NO WAY I could do it. Can you only imagine the pictures?!?!? :)
I think it's so sweet that your dad performed the ceremony and then gave you the bible. Adorable!
HI Kelly, Mom to the rescue! Glad she found those extra pictures of your lovely wedding. The apron idea is a hoot! Your colors are fabulous. And you looked radiant...oh,yeah, you too Scott!
Keeping you in my heart in GA.
Donna
I, too, got married in the fall...October...my favorite time of year. Being a big UK Big Blue fan, I remember that game!! Little did I know that I would eventually "know" someone who was getting married during that exciting game....still sad we lost, though! HA HA
Your wedding was beautiful :)
So pretty, Kelly! I love the fall colors you picked. We were married at the end of October and it was HOT in Atlanta!
Great pictures and write up! Looks like I just missed MckLinky. Sad!

I had to laugh b/c I'm from Kentucky and I was AT the seven overtime football game on your wedding day!! Boy it was quiet at midnight when we lost!
