"CHAWED"
Chawed is a word that Laurie and I have said since college. Laurie got it from Scott's grandmother (who was her great aunt). It's the perfect word that describes when you feel embarrassed/mortified.....well just "chawed". We laugh because Laurie has Emily using that word now. When we all went to South Arkansas, Emily was doing something and we asked her to do it again and she said "I don't want Scott to be chawed". I have never laughed so hard hearing her little voice saying that.
Anyway......chawed is how I feel about seeing myself on video or having someone refer to me as a popular blogger. SUPER CHAWED. But a lot of you asked......so here it is. You are all a part of this whole little blogging world. Thanks for all the love and support you have given my family in the past year!

You did a great job on the interview!! I am really upset to find out that you were in Dallas....I live in Washington state but was in Dallas visiting family at the same time you were there. If I had seen you out and about it would have been so funny!!Wish I had! Linda

CHAWED...you are cracking me up!
I started crying when it got to the part about Harper being in the hospital...seems like just yesterday that I was checking your blog 100x's a day for updates on that baby girl.
I think you did great!!
Congrats on the TV spot! You, Scott and baby Harper looked great!
You looked great!! No need to be Chawed at all!
I think it was a wonderful story, and you did a great job! No need to be chawed. :) It was nice to see the four of you "in action."
Kelly,
It's so cool to put a voice with a face. You did an awesome job! I've been following your blog while you were pregnant with Harper and I check in daily. That's amazing how many followers you have. I know why though....many people look to you for guidance and inspiration.
You are a blessing to the blogging world

Im so glad you shared this, I loved seeing you and your family live! Harper is just so precious, truly adorable, even my two year old daughter loves to look at her, she points and says "pitty baby". thanks for sharing Kelly.
Loved seeing you on TV! You did great! No reason to be Chawed!Nancy from OHIO
Great interview! I have followed you blog for quite some time, but have never commented. Love the accent and your daughter is just adorable. I wish all the cute bow headbands were the rage when my daughter was little. I don't think I could get her to do something like that now at 10(ha ha). Sooo cute !
You look great wonderful interview. I love how you are always yourself!
you look great! Good job!!!
Thank you so much for sharing it with me. I loved it. I also love your accent. :)
I think you looked and sounded great! You represent the blogging world with grace and dignity. Thank you for that!
That was a great news story. Thanks for sharing!
Aww, Kelly- you should be SO proud of this! You are an inspiration to lots of bloggers and I am so glad that you were featured!
You don't talk AT ALL like I thought you would! I just knew you would have more of a country twang! ha!
You did a wonderful job. You seemed so natural...not at all nervous. I have never met you, but feel as if I know you from your blog. It was great to hear your voice. I had to laugh because you didn't sound as "Southern" as I had expected you to. I live in Georgia (and have for the past several years). I thought you would have much more of an accent than you did. Again, great job! Congratulations!
Very nice :)!!!
Kelly you did such a fabulous job, you should be proud!
You look gorgeous as always, and Harper is so precious playing in the background! Thanks for sharing :D
Hey Kelly, that was a great interview! I've been reading your blog for awhile now (you were prego with sweet baby Harper) but have never commented! My oldest daughter even knows about baby Harper, and she has been our prayers. You have a great blog, keep it up girl! I do not have a blog YET! My husband teases me and asks when I'm going to start my own, since I read so many!:) Thanks for posting the interview, it's hard to put yourself out there!:)
You did a great job Kelly! Love your blog and so thankful for the positive energy that comes from it. Keep up the good work!
Girl you are just too cute. You did a great job.

You're so sweet!
Sara.
That was so fun!!! I loved being able to watch that. You are always so adorable and you and Harper looked great! She is such a doll. Thanks so much for posting everyday. I always check in and see what you are up too. I too would have come up to you if I had seen you in Dallas...I feel like I know you when I don't. It is funny sometimes when I am telling a story or refering to something I read on your blog I will say "my friend... and then I always say I mean my "pretend friend"...too funny!
That was great. Your readers are so proud of you!
Great interview! Thanks for sharing and the vocab lesson (I may start using "chawed" now)!
I KNOW why your blog is so popular. You are SUCH a beautiful person. Inside and out. Everyone just wants to be your friend. What a beautiful video.

Kelly! I have been away for about a month and came back to your makeover of a blog!! I love the changing headings, especially the one of yourself and little miss harper!
You did a fantastic job on this clip from the news, and you look beautiful. I have enjoyed catching up on your summer time adventures and how quickly Harper is growing!! A doll.
My good friend just got a job at Children's Hospital in Arkansas -- as an audiologist -- I let her know that I think the people in Arkansas are incredible sweet and hospitable, she is very excited for moving there.
Have a wonderful day!
Awww. Im in awesome wonder watching how the Lord is working. He has picked the sweetest lil family and your blog to show his love for us. i cannot go a day without paying you and your Mom a visit. My husband evens aks about y'all...He too is a huge Razorback fan. He is from Eldorado but moved down south with me after he finished school at Louisiana Tech. Just maybe if we can ever make it to a game I will have to be on Harper and Kelly watch..hehe. Thanks for being true...thanks for being you~ Susie

NO reason to feel "chawed" at all!! You did great! May God continue to bless you and family.

We thought it was just our family that said "chawed". My husband gets so wierded out by me when I say that. Glad to know we are in good company when we use that word!!

2. You look great in that color.
3. I love that God is using you, my daughters who are almost your age, and other bloggers to reach out to people, love them and speak victory into their lives.
4. In spite of a rich southern heritage myself, "chawed" is a new one. Thanks!
You look great!! Very natural.
What a great video!!! We love you too Kelly!
That was so great Kelly! Now so many of us have put a voice to your face. Yeah! Thank you for sharing this.

Aww Kelly! I loved it! You did so good and the camera loves you! You looked great! Of course Harper looked great as well! :)
first of all, not silly, but super cute! good job! and secondly, i've been reading your blog for a while (well since harper was born) and have never commented, but just wanted to say that that picture that just popped up with your new headers (the one of harper leaning over in her bumbo with the big bow and beautiful eyes) SHOULD BE IN A MAGAZINE OR CONTEST OR SOMETHING!!
adorable!
God bless,
jenn from texas :o)
How awesome!! Thank you for sharing that with us!!
Congratulations Kelly!!!! I just started to read your blog, I heard about it through a fellow nestie via thenest.com and it really piqued my interest. I too have dealt with the struggles of infertility and miscarriage. We are now 18 weeks pregnant and so thankful to God for this gift. I am so thrilled to see you made the news!!!! You are a wonderful person and mom and I am so glad that you are being recognized for all of those wonderful things.
Karen
Kelly - I found your blog many months ago while following Daniel & Lyndsie's road with ovarian cancer & their wedding plans. My child is grown and out of the house, but I love watching Harper grow and you are always so positive. What is also great is that now I know what your voice sounds like. lol Thanks for sharing your life & give that sweat little girl a big hug from South Dakota.
Kris
You sounded and looked great. What a wonderful representative for all of us blogging moms out there. All the best to you and your sweet family.

How great. You should not feel "chawed" at all, you should feel proud, you did an awesome job representing yourself and blogging!! =)
That was awesome!! Harper is so cute when they showed that clip of you holding her...ADORABLE!
HI!! I'm a faithful reader, but don't comment nearly as much as I should. That was a GREAT interview!!! You did so well :) One of my blog friends just did a post about being "outted" to her friends about having a blog (she wanted to keep it private) and wanted to know how you're supposed to explain this little world of ours without feeling like a freak. Let's face it.. a lot of people don't really get it. I'm going to have to point her your way.. you hit it spot on!
You mentioned how it helped you so much because you didn't know anyone IRL who had to deal with infertility. It's been the same way for me but with military life. I don't know ANYONE IRL in the military, and now that my husband is (and therefore so am I) blogging has been the biggest blessing ever. I have a ton of other military wives/girlfriends right there who can relate, help, or sympathize with anything I may be going through. It's amazing really and I'm so thankful for it.
Congrats on getting yourself out there so much.. you have a BEAUTIFUL little girl!!
Kelly, no reason to be chawed. They were stating the truth, you are a popular site, people enjoy your entries, and appreciate your prayer blog. Harper is adorable, and everyone wants to watch her grow. Kudos to you and your blog. I read every day!
You are just too cute! Great job!!
How PRECIOUS are you???? That was so great! Thank you for sharing with us!!

I think you did really good!! :) Have no shame in your accent!! super cute!
ps - mine has gotten better too :)
My hubby and I loved watching your interview! You were amazing!!
loved it....
My grandmommie in Texas used the word chawed as well from time to time. Also, just being from down the road a bit in Russellville, you don't have an accent to me! We sound alike! When I read your posts, I "hear" a voice, with an accent, but the voice in my head was higher. Funny, I thought the same thing about MckMama, but she probably had a Southern accent in my head too!
Please forgive my rambling...I spent the last two nights sharing a bed with my 6 year old and 2 1/2 year old while we were out of town!!
Well you go girl!!!!! AWESOME JOB!!
And being an Arkansas girl myself I think we sound just alike. ;)
Excellent job.
Hope y'all had a great day.
Love,
Fran
i love it! i think you did a great job. i have a thick texan accent too and it just comes out when i least expect it.
great job!!
Wowsie! You did a great job!!! It was fun to hear your voice...I think it was different than I imagined.
And I'm so curious how you made the youtube frame around the video pink?!? You really are a "high tech" mom!
YOU'RE FAMOUS!!!!!!!!! =) I think you did great Kelly!! You were natural and down to earth and the exact Kelly we all fell in love with!!

That was wonderful. You did a great job. No need to be "chawed" (ha-ha)
Sweet video. You're such a special person. =) I'm loving the word "chawed". You shouldn't feel that way at all about this video. You did great!!!!
Kelly,
What a great interview. You did great and just looked adorable.
I'm so glad that they talked about the infertility part of your story, not just the fact that you are a mommy blogger. You looked great.

I finally got to watch this today. You did a great job. I am from Alabama and I did not think you sounded southern at all!!
Hi! I just found your blog through one of my friends who posted about her wedding dress... I am already obsessing over the cuteness of your little family and how incredibly sweet you seem. It's so awesome to see that you're praying and lifting up others to the Lord as well. I love it.
Keep up the awesomeness. xo
