The people have spoken and I believe this is the picture! I added the words to send to MckMama's site today. We don't own any orange clothes in this household (sorry Texas and TN but YUCK!) ha! So this seemed as close as I could get. We have been praying for Stellan today as well as all the people on my list of links to the left.
We have been pretty busy the last 2 days. Yesterday we had a visit from our friend Lisa. I wish I would have thought to take her picture with Harper. Then we attempted to go for a walk with Kacy and Wells but Harper was NOT happy about that so we ended up scooting on home. Today we met my former co-workers for lunch at Chili's. Harper lasted until I got my food and she began wailing. I think she wanted chips and salsa and I can't fault the girl for crying over that. There is nothing better in the world to me. Chili's chips and salsa and a vanilla coke from Sonic. (and a red velvet cupcake). That would be my last meal if I was ever on death row. (Hopefully I will never need to worry about that. ha!)
I brought her outside for a little bit so I could try to weed jurassic park (i.e. our flower beds). She did NOT love that either. She really needed a nap so I brought her inside.
All through my pregnancy - I kept insisting we MUST have this swing. "Babies love swings" I would say. And up until about a week ago - Harper screamed her head off every time she got near the thing. But for the last week - I put her in it in the afternoon and she will fuss for a little bit but then she goes into a DEEP sleep. Can I get a "PRAISE THE LORD?" This picture is out of focus because it's hard to take an action shot - but I just wanted to share what is helping me get a few things done and have a happier baby. Thank you Graco! :-)
And now I'm hungry thinking about my last meal and I'm wondering what you would choose for your last meal?? (Oh and go ahead and throw in chicken quesadillas - it's my last meal - let's up those calories!)
P.S.
Last minute over ride - I cropped and sharpened this picture a little more and decided to send it in for the dedication picture. She does look so cute and girly and sweet....... it had to be it. (and the big H on her bib doesn't hurt! ha!)

I like the pink close up for the dedication! On this new post....
I am hearing that orange is the new pink ha! I love orange, can't you tell...adorable baby you have
i would choose mac n cheese because it never gets old to me :) & i'm right there with some red velvet cupcakes.
OMG!! Harper is so precious!
And i really want some Chips and Hot sauce right now!!
Have a great Tuesday!
We have the same swing!!! Baby J took a nap in it earlier today!! LOVE it!!
Last meal? that's easy :)
1. My mom's meatloaf (sounds ... not so appetizing-sounding I know, but I promise- it's amazing)
2. Mashed garlic potatoes
3. Yeast Rolls
4. Diet Coke and Red Velvet Cake!
I have been reading your blog the past few months and I just love it!
I think the picture you posted today should be the one you display....I think it's the 2nd from the bottom. It's sooo cute!
Steak from Outback or Doe's. Chili's chips & salsa, (of course! Although, the salsa I am making rival's Chili's. Ask mom - we consume about a half gallon a week.) Caesar salad. And for dessert - Blue Bell vanilla ice cream with Magic Shell and shredded coconut! That's what I'm talking about!!!!
Dad
I love the picture you chose. It reminds me of my favorite shot of my oldest baby who'll be 10 this summer! =)
Have you tried using a front carrier for Harper when you go on walks? That was my saving grace!
P.S. After reading this post I may HAVE to get Chili's chips and salsa tonight! Yum!
Although I do love the picture that won from yesterday's contest, I am agreeing with some of these comments...I think the closeup you posted of her today is my favorite picture yet!!! LOVE IT and all that PINK!!!
Love ya!
Shannon
def chicken nuggets. my husband is getting so tired of chicken period but I love it. oh yeah and honey cinnamon banana cupcakes :)
i hope i never need a "last meal" because i would probably change my mind every day...i love food!
i'm glad harper likes her swing. my daughter was never really a fan, but she loved her bouncy seat...so at least we had some place i could put her down. my son didn't like the bouncy seat, but loved the swing. crazy~
Welchs strawberry pop, mashed potatoes and gravy and some chicken tenders with ALOT of ketchup! And for after the meal....some frozen custard!
I am so jealous, we have to drive a good 2 hours before we get to our nearest sonic. But we get the commercials and their gift cards at the grocery store. We do have a Chipotle Mexican grill which is amazing. Worth the drive trust me.
My last meal would be
Cherry Limeade
Chicken fajita Burrito (from Chipotle)
Guac and salsa with chips (Chipotle)
for desert something in a Cheesecake
mmm. way to get me hungry. My last meal would likely be a super beef soft taco from Taco Time. with mexi fries. mmm. good. or homemade lasagna. but who wants to cook their own last meal!?
I'm going to have to go with the chips and salsa - my all-time favorite! But I actually am addicted to a Diet-cherry coke from Sonic. Get one every day for lunch.
Beth
Love the new pics!! I will have to say a AMEN for swings too!!! My 2 month old actually sleeps in his!! ha ha!! I know thats bad but I am going to try and wean him from it soon!! For my last meal I would have to say some good southern food like mashed potatoes, cream corn, green beans, fried okra and some fried chicken with some sweet tea and for dessert give me a slice of caramel cake!! Yum!!
jurassic park!! ha ha i laughed out loud!! reminds me of MY yard!
That's easy: Miller's Cafeteria fried chicken, mashed potatoes with brown gravy, carrots, a yeast roll, and a slice of their chocolate pie. And a Sonic Cherry Coke. Have you ever been to Miller's in Magnolia? There's nothing like it on Sunday after church.
If this is even possible...Harper gets cuter by the day!! :)
For my last meal, let's see...I'm such a mexican food fanatic so I'd want fajitas with lots of guacomole, chips, salsa, and queso, key lime pie AND The Cheesecake Factory Dulce De Leche cheesecake for dessert.
oh ditto on the red velvet cupcake! With crablegs and pasta with scallops. Mmm.. I am getting so hungry!
Adorable photos!
Pole beans, fresh cream style corn, cucumbers & onions in vinegar, baked apples, home-grown tomatoes and hot cornbread.
Yay, I have that same swing!!! My daughter will cry when I put her in it too, but as soon as I put her blankie near her face, she falls right out to sleep :)
That's funny that you mention death row, I was in Barnes & Noble the other day, and saw this book of people on death row from TX...so I started flipping through it and it had their last meals in there. Some guy had like, 5 burgers, 3 tacos, 5 orders of fries, an apple pie, 7 cans of soda, an orange, just a completely long and random list of food! I mean, really. Maybe he was trying to kill himself before they killed him :/
Anyway, Harper is beautiful as always. Have a great day!
For my last meal, I'd probably choose mexican food. That's about all I order. I wouldn't turn down Chili's chips and salsa either...they are some of my favorites!
Harper is so adorable!! My swing is a lifesaver too!!!
My last meal wow..
-Chicken soup from my favorite mexican place
-A large Diet coke with lemon and lime from sonic and or a large sweet tea from Mcdonalds
-Cake Batter ice cream with yellow cake from Cold Stone
Oh and I must add friend stuffed mushrooms YUM..
I like way too many foods to be able to create my last meal without thinking hard about it, but it would definitely involve some chocolate! I will be eating at Chili's with my girlfriends Thursday night, so I will think of you if we have chips & salsa! I wish I had a little Harper of my own, she's so precious! And YES, orange is not good, I like maroon!
:-)
I've changed my mind too! I think today's close-up should be "the" picture! It's amazing. What a beautiful girl. :)
As for last meals... hmmm... pizza and reece peanut butter cups. So healthy, I know!!! I'm just worried they won't be in heaven! hahaha
I think my saving grace for getting Adlie to sleep is our moses basket thank you Jesus for that one! and as for a last meal. Sunday rost( funny but every sunday when I was growing up my mom would make a rost in the crockpot before we went to church and when we came home the house smelled AMAZING!) Mashed potatoes fresh green beans cesar salad and yeast rolls and I am all about the Ben and Jerry's Chunky Monkey!
I think you need a new contest...between the "chosen" pic and today's pink pic - I heart that one so much!
Hands down--it is Chili Rellenos from Richardos in Tulsa. You haven't lived (if you like Mexican food) until you have had one of these. And Chilis chips and salsa are sick compared to Ricardos.
She is sooo cute!!! I love the pink background with her outfit. If you had put this in the running for the pic to choose for the dedication I would have had to choose the second pink one here. I love it. She's such a pretty baby.
As for my last meal I would have to choose a Hi-C float from Sonic, a chicken salad sandwich from either Eddie Buears(sp?) or Arbys and some Arby's curly fries, along with red velvet cake :)
Hi Kelly,
I too think you should use the pic of Harper you just posted. It is so adorable I actually like it better than all your other choices.(SORRY!) For my last meal I would have to go with a Hawaiin BBQ ham w/pineapple pizza from Pizza King and a huge slice of cheesecake, after all I won't have to worry about stepping on the scale anymore or clogging my arteries!
Suz
I have been reading you blog for a few months now, and your walk with God is just amazing to me. You truly have inspired me.
Harper is just the most precious little lady ever!
As for the Chili's chips and salsa, I work there, so I eat them every day! I am pretty amazing how many people love them! Next time, as for a lemon and squeeze that in the salsa...it it amazing! Enjoy!
Mac - n - cheese & some greens!
Ohh, and the Paula Deen Strawberry cake!!! To die for. I have made it 2x since Easter.
I love that your dad posted here. Yay for dads!
Like your dad, I want steak. Outback is my fave. Oh, how I miss eating out before Egan came along...
Egan took such great naps in his swing too. That swing was worth it's money tenfold. :)
i'm so glad you picked #3. she looks like a little model! so funny about the last meal. my college bestie and i had that conversation one night, and i think my final meal was probably well over 20,000 calories. there's a great book called "last supper" where they ask a bunch of famous chefs about their last meal and they provide recipes. i gave it to the same bestie for her birthday last year.
Oh my goodness....she is so beautiful! :)
A Sloppy Buck sandwich from Buckingham's in Columbia, MO.
That was my favorite pic...so glad that's the one everyone chose! :)
If I were on death row in the summer, I would ask for a veggie plate of homegrown tomatoes, fried okra, corn on the cob, etc. If it were any other time of year, I would ask for Kobe's filet, veggies and fried rice. :)
Oh my gosh...what to choose...There is no way I could eat it all, but I would want some tortellini with marinara sauce, some quesadillas, really good seafood alfredo, a double cheeseburger from McDonalds, Dr. Pepper, Coke, my mom's chicken enchiladas, corn casserole, Pizza Hut pizza and some Chick-fil-a. Wow. It would take me a week to eat all of that! Ha!
love Harper's pics....she is tooo precious for words! My last meal would be either Mellow Mushroom White pizza and a cherry coke or La Parilla dip with chips (my fav mexican rest in Oakwood, Ga) with a cherry coke!
Picking a last meal would be difficult. I think I would need the have a salad, chicken tenders, a baked potato and chocolate mess from Market Place. One of my Favorites! Sorry the walk didn't work. I need to get some plantind done in my flower beds, but first, I've got to get a meat loaf made.
Kelly- I've heard you mention Chili's a few times in your blogs and everytime it makes me crave it even more! I LOVE chili's. It's my absolute favorite restaurant! And I ALWAYS get the chips and salsa and a chicken fajaita quesadilla. I love it! In fact, my family hates to ask me where I want to go for dinner because they all know I'm going to say Chili's or Red Robin. And my brother even is boycotting the restaurants saying that he won't go to Chili's with me until at least a month has passed. It feels like forever, but it's only been about 2 weeks. What am I going to do?!!
Good thing I have a husband who loves me. I'll have to see if we can go there soon. Mmmmm...
I love the winning picture of Harper, but think it's funny because Harper probably has more cute outfits than any 3 month old ever, and the chosen one is in a little t-shirt!! Just goes to show how precious she is...even when she's not all dolled up!
The pictures today are cute also!
Hey Kelly,
Just wanted to say that I really loved your fashion Mr. Linky post. I keep going back to it to sift through the entries. Maybe you could host another one? Maybe favorite beauty products? Just a thought!
By the way, I love Sonic drinks too (who doesn't??) I missed them so much when I lived in California.
Forgot to mention I gave you an award. Check it out on my blog.
For a last meal, can it be a 4 course dinner?? Oh my, that's tough. Definietly some CC Baskin Robbins ice cream, I do love some turkey and dressing. NO salads, that's all I am eating these days to lose some weight!
Glad Harper is doing well and she looks so cute outside!!
I have that swing and my 2 year old would not nap without it!! She has outgrown it! :(! My last meal would have to be NY strip, twice baked potato, Barqs rootbeer and anything chocolate for desert! Now we all know why I bought a Wii Fit this week! Ha!
My little girl as the same way. She'd sleep soundly, but as soon as we got our food she would wake up.
Last meal: probably steak, potatoes, a chipotle grilled stuffed burrito from Taco Bell and strawberry cheesecake for dessert. And a big glass of Dr. Pepper.
I love that your dad commented. Too cute!!
I haven't found anything here yet that I just love! We like the sushi at this random place close to the highway but I don't know if that would be my last meal. I need to think more.....
Harper is such a cutie! Please tell where you got her cute bib. I need one for my baby!!
Tiffany
Thanksgiving dinner is my last meal....turkey, gravy , mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce...the works!!! Washed down with some Canada Dry Diet Ginger Ale (I'm addicted) and for dessert I am going with my favorite indulgence, chocolate walnut fudge.
Hi Kelly,
Today's close up of Harper is much better than the chosen one.She is really pretty in all that pink. Do you have an heirloom dress for the dedication?
Donna
Oh, yeah, would your Dad share his salsa recipe??
Donna
last meal: ATC(avocado, turkey, cheese) from Submarina...Cheetohs...Diet Pepsi...and a Gotta have it sized Mud Pie Mojo from Coldstone
or...
French Toast...Hash Browns...Bacon...and still the Diet Pepsi
Super cute pic of Harper. I sent a pic of my puppers wearing an orange(GO VOLS...WOOT!) skirt. Still waiting for it to be posted.
I LOVE Greek food. I swear I must have been Greek in my former life b/c I could eat it everyday. So I would choose all my favorite Greek dishes!
I would have a chicken burrito bol from Chipotle! Crazy, I know but man, I love those things!!!
Oh and dont forget a side of chips and salsa!
Hmmm...I love food so much it is hard to narrow it down. It would have to be salsa and tortillas from Mercado Juarez, chips and queso from Casa Rios, Rt. 44 coke from Sonic, and sweet cream with strawberries and almonds from Marble Slab. I think I would burn all the calories I consumed running to all the different places getting food!
I love the new pics! My little girl isn't a fan of the swing either. I have found that she enjoys reclining in our high chair and looking around while I cook dinner.
Auburn orange is the BEST!!!!;)
Love all those sweet pics. Neither one of our girls liked to be in the swings that went side to side, but they both LOVED the swings that went back and forth. Weird, I know, but true!
Harper is just too beautiful for words! My daughters (4 & 8) love looking at her pictures!
My last meal would probably be Chick-Fil-A! Either a chicken strips salad, or a chicken strips meal, with a large sweet tea! YUM! Don't forget the (homemade) red velvet cupcake for dessert! I am a born a raised California girl but I just know in my heart that I was really meant to be from the South!
Harper is getting cuter and cuter! Love the picture that was chosen.
My daughter hated the swing at first too - but slowly grew to love it. I actually had 3 different swings/bouncy seats around the house. There was a constant rotation of seats. That kept her happy and allowed me to work from home :-)
Hmmm...last meal? It would have to be my chicken enchiladas.
i love chili's chips and salsa too! i order a little bowl of ranch dressing too and dip my chips in both.
MMmmmm!
I think that the pic you took today with the H on the bib and pink background should be for her dedication. It's precious. I love your blog!!
You need to post a couple crying pictures ... with all the adorable pictures I just can't imagine her doing anything else but posing on Q:)
I can't believe that Harper is fussy ... EVER... she is always too darn cute in every single picture!
Owen's favorite baby accessory was his vibrating bouncer... and he still sits in it! Since he can't crawl and he gets so tired sitting (thanks to his bummer heart), I'll plop him in his bouncy seat for a break and all 22lbs of him will bounce it until I swear he's going to FLY out... best $30 investment EVER!
My last meal would be from Ermilio's in Eureka Springs. I love that place and crave it often. I wish I could go back there. Some time soon.
By the way orange is gross! Go Crimson and Cream!!!!
I adore Chili's chips and salsa! So good!
I think my last meal would be my mom's special tortellini dish and cheese fries. What a disgusting combo lol.
JC was 2 months Thursday & he screams his head off every time he hears the word swing!!! Hopefully, he'll learn to love it in a few weeks--Mommy needs to clean house!
My last meal would include chips & salsa too--fajita's, sweet tea (from Sonic), & since the calories wouldn't matter, McDonald's french fries & a slice of Italian cream cheesecake (who care's that I would be sick the next day!). YUM!
OH my word! That is the cutest picture you sent for Stellan.
I have not commented in forever but I wanted you to know that I love reading your blog. I also wanted to tell you that a while back, you wrote about people talking about your hair. Well, I was trying to figure out how to get a picture of your hair to show my Hairdresser because it is so cute!
Okay, she is just so stinkin' cute! This is why God gave me boys-we'd be broke b/c I'd wanna dress her up and make her look all girly. :0) I'm living vicariously through you! Haha!
My last meal would be a Chipotle Burrito & chips with their hot salsa...Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Delish!
Can I just say how PRECIOUS Steve and Judy's grandbaby is??? (or so I've been told. Ha!)
I love hearing all the things you are trying to find Harper's "happy places".
I've had Stellan and family on my heart and in my prayers ALL DAY. (I could only find my orange flip flops. ha!)
I LOVE Tex-Mex so I would have to have some yummy fajita nachos, Dr Pepper, Blue Bell ice cream(my favorite) and maybe even a steak from McGuires to top it all off. There are just many things that I like it's hard to choose. Harper is such a cutie pie.
Caper's crab cakes... there is nothing better. Not only the perfect crab cake, but the perfect sauce and relish stuff that goes with it. It is the epitome of perfection as far as food textures and flavors go! I would have a dozen or so of them instead of the usual 3!!
And I would top it off with their creme brulee too :)
Love the pics! Glad she likes the swing now! :)
I would want Pizzaco's stuffed veggie pizza or my grandma's Greek lamb and orzo recipe. YUMMMMOOO!!
Oh, she's just the sweetest, isn't she? P.s. this blog's banner totally looks like a ripped-off version of your old one! http://celebrity-moms.blogspot.com/
oh, and I gotta say... the picture of her outside today is pretty darn good.
Let me see...so many choices! First would be a Delmonico Steak from Lone Star, fried dill pickles (with extra ranch dressing) from a little hole in the wall joint in Jacksonville, Alabama, a slab of Dreamland BBQ Ribs in Tuscaloosa, Alabama (complete with white bread and extra sauce), a maple butter covered blondie from Applebees, and of course, I must have a few Coke Zero's to wash it all down!
Hey! I'm a BIG GAL so I need a TON of food! LOL!
Robin @http://alabamaslackermama.blogspot.com/
yay! #3 was my picture choice :)
i would definitely load up on calories for my 'last' meal with.....
MEXICAN FOOD
i can tear up some chips & salsa w/sour cream
also, a red velvet cake with crm chz frosting and pecans on top!!
oh and while we are it lets add some more calories with some pizza and ranch!!
ok, so now i'm really hungry!!
If you aren't totally set on the winning pic, I am really LOVING that closeup (second to last pic - above the swing) as Harpers dedication picture. She is just gorgeous!
I also LOVE chips and salsa!!
I love that last picture of her outside. She is just sooo pretty!!
I would have to say either a big fat steak and baked potato or some pizza from Tim's Pizza!! And of course some cheesecake...or cobbler and ice cream for dessert!!!
You are a girl after my own heart! Chile's chips and salsa and a vanilla coke from Sonic are heavenly!!!!!!
Harper is getting more cute as the days go bye. Have a great evening.
OMGoodness...can she get any more yummy?! Today's pic should be the one!! I love it..super cute!
As I was reading I was totally going to comment that you needed to use the pink pic for your dedication choice. GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!!!
She looks absolutely beautiful in every photo, but especially adorable in the pink one. Plus, pink is SO girly!
Last meal, what a good question. Here is what I would want:
1.) My grandma's lasagna
2.) Greek Salad
3.) Yeast Rolls
4.) Red Velvet Cheesecake from a little whole in the wall place in Anniston, AL. It has a layer of red velvet, a layer of cheesecake, and a layer of red velvet, covered in cream cheese icing and nuts on top. GLORIOUS, I tell you GLORIOUS! I might have to make the 45 minute drive to Anniston this weekend.
I love the picture you chose!
I would have fried shrimp with lots of tartar sauce, an ice-cold Dr. Pepper, Caesar salad, fried cheese wontons, and garlic cheese bread.
I was hoping you'd say you were gonna use this new pic. It's so girly and her little face is the cutest!
My last meal would have to consist of a mushroom quesadilla that I get at our local mexican restaurant, my dad's steak, chips & salsa w/sour cream from a different local mex. place, and a big diet coke. After that, if I still have room, I'll take a Maple Butter Blondie (I think that's what it's called.) from Applebees.
You have me craving all this stuff now!!!
kelly,
love, Love, LOVE your blog!! i visit you daily!! i just have to say this is THE MOST beautiful picture of your baby harper!! LOVE it!!
xo, dixie
I was going to say that you should send that picture in for her dedication! She looks so grown up in that picture!
My last meal would be a Steak and loaded baked potato (w/ rolls & butter) from Texas Roadhouse, sweet tea, Nestle Toll House chocolate chip cookies and one last drink of Dr. Pepper!
How funny- when I saw the second photo I thought "why doesn't she use that cute one?" Adorable.
Last meal- the deep dish pizza from a little place in Polcinego, Italy, spinach artichoke dip, and mint chocolate chip ice cream. What can I say? I grew up in the dairy state!
Perfect choice for the picture! She's an angel!
Sometimes when I can't sleep, or just really want to relax, I wish I had one of those swings! ha! I love the picture you're going to use.I had voted for the other one but I like this one better.:)
Great picture choice!
i'm SO glad you chose this pic...as soon as i saw it under the other one i thought, "that picture is the ONE!!!" i'm new to commenting on your blog, but I LOVE reading it & checking in on your life & miss harper! i am a nurse in a pediatric cardiac icu in charleston, sc. thanks for sharing your life & thoughts!
Beautiful picture of H for dedication--I love it! She is such a pretty baby!!!
I laughed about your death row last meal! I'd actually be just fine with that meal, too...great choices! :) I do hope you never have to worry about though!
I totally agree that this is THE picture for the dedication... it's perfect! She is a beauty!
My last meal (and I just shared this with my husband the other day - how morbid!) would be a chicken quesadilla, chips and salsa (and especially the "white sauce") and a big Diet Coke from our favorite Mexican restaurant. Yum!
Ha ha.. I have to agree w/ several other commenters. The new picture with all the pink that you posted today--that is a money shot! Would be great for the dedication. :)
My last meal? Grilled steak, parmesan pasta, Italian green beans, yeast rolls, sweet iced tea, and peach pie for dessert w/ coffee of course.
When I saw the pictures posted today I thought, man she should have used one of these! And you did! They are adorable! Great choice!!!
I love the pic you decided on!!!! It's my favorite :)
I HEART chili's chips and salsa...isn't it just the best thing in the entire world? When I was pregnant with Allie I would call and order them take out!
I would choose the never ending soup, salad, and breadsticks at Olive Garden. They couldn't cut you off, b/c it's NEVER ENDING. By the time you couldn't possibly eat another bite. . .you would welcome the end. :)
I love the new pic. It shows her PURE SWEETNESS!!
As for my last meal..Bennigan's Monte Cristo...They have long gone been out of business but I can still dream:)
Precious!!! Great choice for the baby dedication picture, Kelly :)
My last meal would be an Outback salad with ranch dressing. But, I adore the chips/salsa at Chili's. My husband and I ate there before church the Wed before we got married - our last meal as a dating couple. And, I bet my meal was chips/salsa!
My last meal would probably be my mom's beef stroganoff and I would say my Nan's carrot cake, but that will have to wait till the wedding supper, if you know what I mean.
Chicka Chicka Boom Boom enchiladas from Chuy's and my "Aunt" Ronni's mandarin orange cake!
I would probably go to an Italian restaurant and sample a little of everything! Even alfredo! You are too funny with the photo over ride. But good choice. This was a hard decision.
I love coming to your blog everyday just to see Harper! She is so adorable.
And I think I would have voted for that picture too! I love her expression, the PINK and the H.
Good decision!
I am so glad you decided on the new pink picture. I was just thinking as I was scrolling down...I wish Kelly had posted that picture yesterday as an option!!!
PERFECT choice for the dedication picture. I love the new one! What a gorgeous baby girl you have!
Love the new picture! It is girly and she looks very happy in it!! :)
I think my last meal would be.... (this is a extremely tough question coming from someone who absolutely loves food).... um.... err..... Cheesecake factory's lemon-herb chicken.... followed by a piece of strawberry cheesecake!
ha, great minds think alike! i was just gonna say that the new pic was meant to be the dedication pic! I love the H!
Hey Kelly, I was going to say that picture of Harper in the pink with the H on her bib would be a great picture of her dedication! Good Choice!!!!!
Take care Laura
Oh my! I am 100% supportive of the picture override. The first one was as darling as could be - but the one that made the final cut is PERFECT.
Yes, that is ny favorite picture. When my kids were little I called the swing "my babysitter".
Also, I heart chips and salsa from Chili's.
I agree, this is the perfect picture to use. Too cute! You're so lucky she's using her swing. Everyone told me too that I HAD to have a swing b/c babies love them. My son (now 14 months old) hated his. Screamed every time I put him in it. Ugh!
oh my gosh. I didn't think it was possible, but I think she got cuter overnight!!!!
I am SOOO glad you chose the last picture. I was going to comment that you should choose that picture and then read that you did. That is a GREAT one of her! LOVE IT!
My last meal: definitely chili's chips and salsa, mexican food from TEXAS (the only place where it is good!), a cherry-limeaide from Sonic and a chocolate molten cake from chili's. YUMMO!!!
The picture is nothing short of perfection!
After seeing that close up I was going to comment and say that you should have a re~vote with that picture in it...and then I continued reading and saw that you had already decided to use that picture! It is adorable. She is soo cute~ and I should know b/c I have 4 of the cutest kids in the world!! :)
I too would have picked the picture of her in pink. She just looks so girly and beautiful.
I would have chosen that one if it had been a choice! No fair! Beautiful picture!
Kelly, I'm so glad that you choose that picture! As I was reading I kept looking at it thinking gosh that is one of the best pictures of Harper so far that should be used for dedication picture!! And we don't have orange around here either! It's all about the (OU) crimson or the (arkansas) red!!
that is the BEST picture. i had a feeling you'd pick one that wasn't in the running ... i'm the same way. she is so adorable in every picture... such a little beauty.
I love the picture. As I was reading your blog for the day, I was thinking the picture you included from today was the best picture. I'm so glad to know that is the one you chose. It is the sweetest!
I love that picture of Harper in the bib and it is so darling that I just made Todd get up from his recliner to come see it!!! (Man, we need a laptop!) I can't believe I am going to have a little cutie pie like her in a MONTH!!
Great choice on the pic...although you were definitely in a "win-win!"
I want a Sonic DP, Mexican food complete with chips and salsa, andthat Chili's chocolate molten lava cake for my last meal....OH and some chocolate chip cookies and milk. And some Applebee's Tequila Lime Chicken. And cheese fries from Outback. Oh wow, I am HUNGRY now!!!
Praise the Lord for the swing!
As I was reading this post, I was thinking, these new pictures are great, you should use one of them! Then I get to the end and low and behold you are! :) Good choice- beautiful pictures of a beautiful baby girl!
love love love the newest pic...before I got the end of the blog, I thought "she gets cuter every day!"...great choice!
Love the dedication pic and great post! Go check out my blog, I linked yours in my post and talked about it! LOVE IT!! :)
I LOVE the photo you decided to go with...too cute!!
My last meal would be...
Dr. Pepper (de-fizzified, carbonation gives me a stomach ache, ha!)
Garlic Cheese Bread (made on really fluffy french bread)
This awesome dish I had in Italy...basically really fresh seafood on homemade pasta.
Churros from Spain (desert)
I'm a carb girl. :)
Of course these are all things that I never eat these days. Boooo!
That dedication picture is beyond adorable-- perfect! My last meal would probably be pizza and sweet tea. I've been craving sweet tea lately but haven't allowed myself any ;)
You made the perfect choice!!!
Harper's Nonny
Sorry I don't know, but what is a baby dedication? Is it something with your church? I love your blog, and Harper is just toooo cute.
I love, love LOVE that you have so many personalized/monogram things for Harper! I have an unusual name with an original spelling and all of my brothers and sisters have "normal" names and could always get the personalized things when we went on vacation (mugs, license plates, patches, etc.) and I never could. My siblings always tease me because I named my kids normal names and I bought/made them tons of personalized things...
Also, my favorite meal would be flank steak, roasted sweet potatoes (I have the recipe - yum-0), caesar salad, homemade rolls and cheesecake for dessert!

Kelly, So glad you did an over-ride on the pic. If it couldn't be NO.1, then today's picture is IT. Just perfect. What a little angel.
Donna
I was thinking while reading your post today "Awww that's a cute picture of Harper, she should use that one!" And you are! How awesome is that! Your family is beautiful! My husband and I check your blog everyday and it reminds me that prayers are answered! Blessings to you all!
Love the picture and YES - thank goodness for baby swings! My daughter loved hers more than her bassinet for the first 6 months!
Baby swings are great and worked especially well with my first(he is now 14 and a great young guy), strong-willed, required little sleep baby. I am glad to hear Harper is enjoying swinging.
Harper is so photogenic and a very pretty baby.
I love to eat so many things. Biaggi's seafood manicotti ranks pretty high and so does their squid ink black fettucini. Oh, and pizza from Chicago's favorites, like Uno's, etc.
That is the perfect dedication picture!
hi kelly, could you please add this baby to your prayers, They so need them right now

The quarter pounder with cheese combo meal from McDonalds. I've been saying for YEARS that would be my last meal...not that I ever plan on being on death row!
Kelly, I think Harper is the most beautiful baby I have ever seen...and I dont have any kids yet, so I can say that without hurting anyone's feelings. lol
She is just perfect and happy and wonderful. I am so happy that your miracle is here and healthy. I cannot wait to see the blessings God brings to her life...and who knows maybe someday she will meet Stellan and she can tell him all about the prayers you two said for him today.
p.s. i hate orange too....GO PINK!
Ms. Harper is getting more beautiful by the day! I LOVE the new pic!
My last meal would consist of a blackened blue salad from Zaksby's, yeast rolls, steak w/bleu cheese or feta on top, baked potato (possibly sweet depending on my mood!), chocolate cake with icing and a huge diet coke with 2 straws!
Love the newest choice for dedication picture and have been praying for Stellan in Dallas, TX as well (though I have no orange either!) Harper is so beautiful...just like her Mama. :)
Favorite meal (several "runners up" but I think this is it)--though I won't let myself have it now that I'm not a diet--Chick-fil-a (original) Chicken sandwich, fries, Oreo shake! Can you say lots-o-calories and fat???
:0) Have a good day.
Kelly,
Love the pic of Harper you chose, it was the best. As for a last meal I think it would be chocolate better batter ice-cream from Maggie Moos. We won't be eating at Sonic in my town anymore because they were on the news this morning. Seems they have been shut down due to a roach infestation. HOW GROSS IS THAT????
I really like the picture you chose, specially with the way you sharpened it up some!
Last meal...hmm, I think I might have to chose a nice steak (cooked medium rare of course, baked tater with lots of butter, cheese and sour cream, a yummy salad with some yeast rolls. OR...King crab legs! Hard to pick!
You would be surprised how flattering Burnt Orange is!! hehe Hook 'Em! It goes with everything, seriously! (except Red maybe!) Anyway, cute pictures of Harper. I'd have to include queso in my last meal, in addition to beef fajita nachos and any chocolate dessert! Yumm-O!! Have a good day!
As I was reading through this post, I stopped on that pic of Harper and thought, "Now THAT'S the pic Kelly needs to use!"
I'm so glad you thought so too. It is perfect!
That is THE most perfect picture!!
Oh man, that's hard to choose a last meal. But since French fries are my favorite I am going to say a cheeseburger and fries from Winsteads with a big diet coke!
Oh I like this choice! The "winner" was so dang cute but I liked the tutu one because it was more "girly" so this one is a winner with me! Good job!
THat picture is DARLING! Just perfect for the dedication picture!
I don't know what all I'd chose for a last meal, but it would have to include pizza, ice cream from Cold Stone (or Marble Slab) and Toll House break and bake cookies! Oh... And Coke! YUM!
Amy
Curtis and I would not have made it through Jackson's newborn days without a swing. He really liked to be moving at all times. Not much has changed! My last meal would be Chinese I think.
Kelly you and I could hang out any day. I LOVE chips and salsa. I could eat my weight in it. Also, red velvet cupcakes are a must. We have a place here in Dallas called Sprinkles. If you are ever in town you MUST get one. I like the picture you chose of Harper. She is beautiful!
Good call on the last minute executive decision. I think that might be the best pic you've taken of Harper. She is such a beauty!
Hi Kelly!!
Love Harper's pictures!
I would eat an entire thing of chocolate chip cookie dough, fudge cake from the Cheesecake Factory, french fries from Outback and the biggest cheeseburger I could find. These are all things I only let myself eat about once a month, so I would really enjoy!!
Hugs,
Melissa
I think that is my most favorite Harper pic yet!
I thought the exact same thing as soon as I saw it!!! SOoo cute!
And, for my last meal...I couldn't choose!!! Just bring me everything! ha ha. But I would def. need Pizza Crackers from Pizza Villa in there somewhere!!! ha ha and an enchilada from El Norteno.
I think you made the perfect choice for the picture. When I saw it earlier in the post - i thought this is the best pic of Harper yet! She is so sweet.
Last meal... I would want a little bit of everything... homemade Indian food, pizza, all kinds of seafood, some good grilled steak, dessert would have to be somehting chocolate!
I'm glad you made the override decision. I LOVE that photo!!
As soon as I saw that picture of her, I thought 'Oh she should have had this one for her dedication'. Glad you are using it. She just gets more beautiful every day!
When I saw this recent photo of Harper on the pink blanket, I totally thought that would be an amazing dedication photo! That is is funny you thought the same thing!
I really think Harper gets more beautiful everyday! Is that even possible?
Miss Shirley's (restaurant in Baltimore) fried green tomatoes, cheese grits , Iced Tea and a homemade chocolate chip cookie:)
Ha ha - I had to laugh at your "Texas and TN" comment. We took a picture for Stellan too and had a terrible time coming up with orange shirts. They were more orange-ish, really. Around here, it means Auburn and Tennessee and for a Bama girl, that's a BAD thing!
