It's a rainy, gloomy Monday here. Boo! Yesterday was warm and sunny but a little windy so we went on a family walk! Is Harper styling in her little hat or what?
We have discovered what all parents have found out before us. The greatest invention in all the world is .......Baby Enstien Videos. When Harper is screaming her head off - she will instantly calm down and coo if we turn one on. Of course I'm more partial to the Praise Baby videos so we have those also. They play Christian music instead of the classics. Here is Harper watching one yesterday. She's not into a pacifier - but she kind of likes having a little "softie" to hold and suck on. I'm okay with that.
Last night was a big night for us - we moved Harper's sleeping arrangements. She has been sleeping in her bouncy seat at night because that is the only place she would sleep. She refused to lay flat. But I decided last night she HAD to move to her pack and play because she is practically hanging off the bouncy seat (already). I was very afraid. But she did GREAT! I didn't sleep at all because I kept checking her (the pack & play is right next to my side of the bed). She was all stretched out - I think she probably felt great. She slept really good! Yeay - progress!
When my parents came this weekend, they brought a gift from a lady in my hometown. She made me this diaper bag and this precious pink and brown razorback quilt! How cute is that for a sweet girly hog fan???? Thanks Mrs. Sharon!!!!
Do ya'll know about Matilda Jane? I've been a big fan - the clothes are cute and funky and different and girly! I nearly fell over when I got a package from the sweet lady behind the company who wrote me the sweetest note and sent both Harper and I some clothes from her line. You MUST go check them out! It makes me want to be a little girl again!
So it's spring break here which means absolutely nothing to my life but it always is a symbol that summer is around the corner. I know we are all having crazy weather. Some of you have snow - we are having thunderstorms (yuck). I also know that people who read this blog are from all over so I'm wondering today .........WHERE ARE YOU FROM and WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT WHERE YOU LIVE???? Aren't you curious about life in different states/countries? I am.
(Just reading the first 100 comments and you make your homes sound so great - can I come visit all of you????? Especially if you are in Seattle, England, and AUSTRALIA!!!!)(any readers in hawaii??? hee!)
Keep praying for Stellan and all the others on my links to the left. Love you!

I am from Charlotte, NC. My favorite thing about where I live is that it usually doesn't get too cold and the summers are incredible! Very warm/hot, but not so humid like Charleston, SC where I grew up. Also, it's only a 3 hour drive to my parents in Charleston, a free place to stay when going to the beach!
Alise
Those prayers you prayed for that girl to have big beautiful eyes sure did pay off! She is a doll!
I'm from NE Louisiana. Our weather has been wonderful lately. Warm and sunny and breezy!
My favorite thing, though, is when fall comes around and all the leaves turn colors. I LOVE IT!
Hi Kelly! We live in Southwest Florida, where I am afraid it is already HOT!! Yesterday we went to the beach, which is 5 minutes from our driveway, yet we only seem to go sporadically!! My boys love it! They are finally old enough to play alone along the shore, which meant mommy could catch up on her (severe)magazine obsession!
Here in Mississippi we are having beautiful weather...about to go outside and play now!!
Lucy loves Praise Baby...she did NOT like t.v. as a baby, but did love those DVDs. Such sweet music!!
BTW...just left Old Navy...spotted some dresses that I may have to have...I am a dress girl too...thought of you :)
Take care!
Shannon
Could I really be 1st? Well, I am from Utah and I love it! The mountains are so beautiful! Although I get sick of snow, I love that we get 4 real seasons. Spring and Fall are my favs because it is so beautiful here. The people are great and friendly (for the most part:) There is so much do to outdoors and so much to see. I have lived in a few states (Nevada, Texas, Arizona and Utah) I have become very attached to my valley that I live in!
Where are you from is always a complicated question for me... I was born and raised in Austria and Southern Germany (where my family is from), I have lived in California and Colorado. But my HOME, and where I live now is Little Rock, AR. What I love most about it is the people - I don't ever want to live anywhere but the South again!!
Hi Kelly! I'm from Pullman, WA and I love the summer months in this little college town because all of the students are gone and the rest of us "locals" are able to enjoy the peace and quiet. We are expecting our first baby in August and some of your baby preparation posts have been extremely helpful especially when it comes to registering. Thanks!
I live where you live =)...BOOOO on the yucky weather today!
I love Matilda Jane - I just spent an embarrassing amount at a party a couple weeks ago on my Claire! There are a couple girls around here that host trunk shows...I can fill you in next time one of my good frieds are having one =)!
Love Harper's hat! I find out what I am having tomorrow and if it is a girl I will totally be going through your archives finding all your hook ups =)!!!
ha ha. I knew it was too go to be true. :)
Hi Kelley! I am from La Quinta, CA (Palm Springs area). The weather is always fabulous! Except the summers are VERY hot - but I don't seem to mind it too much. You never have to worry about the weather being bad and Elle and I get to play outside all year long.
Harper is getting cuter by the day :-)
Hi, Kelly! Little Ms. Harper sure is the most stylin' baby girl I've ever seen! I am from a small town in Georgia near Chattanooga, TN. What I love most about this area is how pretty the scenery is with the mountain skylines. Also, the shopping is good and there are lots of tourist places to visit such as the Aquarium. You should visit Chattanooga! :)
WOW! Top Ten! I'm super excited! I live in Lubbock, Texas and what I love about living here is the people. I've lived in big cities (Las Vegas, Chicago & Dallas) and this is by far the friendliest part of the country. Even if you didn't grow up here, or go to school at the local university, you become and instant TEXAS TECH RED RAIDER fan! Go Raiders!!!!
I am from the great state of Texas, currently living in San Antonio. What I like best about where we live now is....(not in order of importance) No Snow to shovel (like we had in Virginia), Blue Bonnets, area is rich in Tx history and back in TX near all our family. I have a fond spot for Arkansas since my Dad was born and raised there!
San Antonio, Texas! I like the weather....a few cold days, and alot of warm days. Most people in SA are laid back, hard working, and family-oriented. There aren't enough nice parks here though. We have found one in the works that is exciting. Right now there is a 3 mile greenway along the creek. It is great for a jogging stoller and getting back in shape after a baby. Keep the pics and suggestions coming, baby girls are so fun to shop for...but being a SAHM doesn't allow too much $$ for that...well worth it.
Kelly,
Just wanted to say, I love your web site. I can't wait to read it everyday. Little girls are so fun, I have one fixing to turn 3. I emailed you a while back when I read your story in the Ark Bapt Mag. I'm one of Scott's college classmates. It was fun catching up on his life. I think you are an inspiration to me. I've started reading Power of a Praying Wife. My husband is great, but I need to know how to pray for him. Thanks for the suggestion. Thanks for being a prayer warrior also. Congrats on getting to be a stay at home mom too! I long for that day, but I have my mom to help with Anna while I'm working.
Your blog friend. India Weatherly
http://theweatherly.blogspot.com/
I'm from Kingston, TN 30 minutes west of Knoxville. I love the weather her most of the time. I love spring when all the trees and flowers are blooming.
Today it's 71 and I want so badly to leave work and get my 2 year old daughter and just go run and play outside. The summers here are a little more humid than I like but it's what I'm used too since I've never lived anywhere else in my 30 years.
I just love to read your blogs and see what outfit miss Harper is wearing each day. She's beautiful.
I'm from Middle Georgia and I'm counting down the last 9 school days until I'm free for a week! The kiddos have worn me out lately!
I live in Columbus, Ohio. When I think of something I like about it, I'll let you know. ;)
Wow, Harper is such a doll! Well I live in Washington state, about 30 miles south of Seattle. Contrary to what everyone thinks, it really doesn't ALWAYS rain here. Lol, just all spring long... Anyway, my favorite thing about living in the Seattle area is that we have a little of everything. In under two hours I can be on the coast or in the mountains. I am half an hour away from one of the larger cities in America, or half an hour away from all the farm lands and countryside. It really is a wonderful place to be. I have always thought it would be neat to live in some other states, though, just to see what it was like.
Take care, I love your blog!
Rachel
Hi Kelly ~
I love your blog! And Harper is so beautiful!
I am from Minnesota and it's my spring break this week too. But, it's chilly and rainy. Bummer.
I love Minnesota for all the lakes!
I grew up on a lake and there is nothing compared to being out on the lake as the sunsets! Also, Duluth on Lake Superior is an amazing place to visit! And, in Minnesota we have Caribou Coffee! MMM. Which is where I am right now working on my homework!
Minnesota is definietly not the beach but worth a trip someday =)
I am so glad Harper would only sleep in her bouncer. That is Aaron's only place to sleep and I keep trying to get him to sleep in his Pack N Play because I wasn't sure if it was alright for the bouncer to be the sleeping place...
Georgia girl here! I think what I love most about where I live, is the southerness(if that is a word). The everyone knows everyone, good country cooking, big oak scenery that surronds my town! I wouldn't want my children growing up anywhere else! :)
I'm from Tuscaloosa, AL - home of the Crimson Tide - great rivals!!!! Never been to a game there, but if I do I'll let you know! My children all 3 spent many a nights sleeping in bouncy seats, swings, car seats, you name it - whatever works!!!!
Great pics, as always!
I am originally from Chicago and now we live in south-central Kansas. The weather here can be insane- 70 degrees and sunny one minute to snowing the next! :P
The thing I love the most about the weather here is quicker spring and less winter (compared to Chicago). There weren't many early March days of sunshine and 70+ degree weather growing up like there are here. This past winter, I had to hear my parents lament about all the snow back home as it was quite mild here. I am thankful for that!
I am from Seattle, WA although I have lived all over the country... the south, the Northeast, the Northwest. While they all have their ups and downs I have to say Seattle is one of the most beautiful places to live! I think the combination of mountains and being surrounded by water cannot be beat!
I am living in Seattle, Washington at the moment. My hubby is military, so we move quite often. This is not my favorite place to live(although I'm hoping that will change once summer gets here and the sun comes out more often!). The best thing about it, I would have to say is the BEAUTIFUL scenery. The mountain views are amazing here!
Angel
Im from Alberta , Canada. I can say with most certainty that the good 3 feet of snow we have blanketing everything is NOT the best part of Alberta. I would say its the lakes. We have beautiful lakes... 5 of them all within 15 minutes of my house! also that Im lucky enough to be so close to the Rocky Mountains... sure its still a good 6 hour drive but its worth it! again ... beautiful. 6-7 months of Winter. not so much- I guess I have to take the good with the bad!
First time poster. I am from TEXAS!!! Originally from Houston, but just recently relocated to San Antonio. You want to know my favorite thing about Texas? These beautiful buds that bloom every Spring.
http://ambermatlock.blogspot.com/2009/03/sickies-house-news-and-bluebonnets-2009.html
I like to think it's God's way of making our few months of glorious weather (you know in between the month or two of "cold" and the other 8 months of brutal heat) even more glorious!
We have been living in England for the past 6 years. Really hard to say what my favorite thing is except to say it is generally not the weather : ) The spectacular countryside and the adorable villages would be near the top of my list. The upside to lots of rain is that it does make everything lush and green.
We moved here from Annapolis...love the Chesapeake Bay and a crab feast!
Congrats on the move up to the pack and play...my youngest was in a bassinet until her feet and head touched the ends...she slept so great there I was afraid to move her to the crib.
Hi Kelly! I'm from Washington. It's still cold here. Cold as in we got snow last weekend! I cannot believe it. Last year our last snowfall happened in June! I REALLY hope that is not the case this year. My favorite thing about living here is that my family all lives here. Otherwise I think I might pack everything up and hightail us down to California or somewhere warmer. I'm a summer girl!
PS. I LOVE how Harper's stuff has her name all over it. It's the cutest! As is she, but you already knew that!
Birmingham, AL is where I live. Montgomery, AL is where I grew up. What I love about Alabama, outside of the 12 National Championships we hold, is the people and the history this state holds. Not all is good but it is a beautiful state with everything from beaches to mountains.
Hi, Kelly! I live in Watkinsville, GA, just outside of Athens. I'm about 10 minutes away from the University of Georgia. I love living here because the weather and the people are wonderful. There's nothing like having a college town at your back door--especially on Saturdays in the fall. GOOOOO DAWGS! I love your blog and your sense of "style". You'd fit right in with my friends. We will monogram anything that will sit still.
Hi,
I am from Chicago but I was born in Poland.
Hi, I'm from Maple Ridge, British Columbia, Canada. It's a suburb about a hour east of Vancouver. Yesterday's weather had us all cheering that spring was finally here. But today is rainy, gloomy and all around blah! Can't wait for the sun to come back.
Hi Kelly!
I'm from Memphis, TN and I love it here b/c there is always a ton to do, like Memphis in May. You know my baby wouldn't sleep in his pack n play at all either at first. We had to put him in a moses basket and stuff blankets around him so he felt secure. Finally he graduated to the pack n play!
Im from sherwood ar. And today it is so nice and sunny. srry you guys are having rain i think its due here tonight. Idk what my fav thing about ar living is maybe all the fun country things I grew up doin. also Im by no means a hogs fan (GO VOLS) but hubby is so I do get the kids some hogs stuff and really want that quilt for my lil gurl(assuming thats what we are havin)
Hey Kelly, I am from Wayside, Texas sort of. It is about an hour south east of Amarillo and there are about 30 people that live in the Wayside area. We have a post office in the one pump gas station (that actually doesn't even carry gas anymore! ha!) and other than that we have houses and farms. I actually live on a camp property. I have been going to camp here since i was a little girl then I worked out here in the summers, my husband and I met out here and now we live here and work here with our son! We LOVE it here! I feel so lucky to be here. The down side is that everything is at least 30 min away, but you get used to that. The Palo Duro Canyon is about 100 yards from our front door and you only have to see one sun set here to fall in love with the place!
I am in Maricopa, AZ close to Phoenix. The weather here is wonderful right now. I am familiar with Matilda Jane....awesome clothes. I have two girls and love dressing them up! Your little girl is just ADORABLE!! She reminds me of my two girls when they were little...not that they look alike, but just how tiny they were :) It's so fun to check your blog everyday! I love reading your posts! God bless!
Hello from Indianapolis, Indiana! We are having a cloudy yucky looking day here today...but what I love most about living here is the fact we get to enjoy every season. And I love SNOW!
I am from The Woodlands, Texas area. We love the bike trails and outdoor shopping centers. You feel like you are in nature with all the conveniences of an urban area. We are close enough to the big city to have access to the zoo, theatres, concerts, sporting events, museums, etc. We also have the best mall and church- Fellowship of the Woodlands. We love it here!
Sarah
Hi Kelli! I so love reading your blog and watching your precious little girl grow - what fun! I am from Wisconsin and I absolutely LOVE the changing of the seasons. I love the first snowfall of winter, the first blossoms of spring, the sunshiny weather of summer, and the beautiful colors of fall. It's kind of rainy and cold here today, but our snow has all melted. I'm excited to see the first blossoms and plant my summer garden.
I'm from Gardner, KS -- a suburb of Kansas City. I love that the town we live in has a small town atmosphere, but it's near all the big city onveniences.
I'm just outside Raleigh, NC but grew up in central NC. Tar Heel born and bred! I love that we have the beautiful beaches and mountains on either side.
We are having your Sunday weather today and the yucky is coming tomorrow and hanging around for a while. Hopefully the rain will wash away the pollen before it gets everywhere!
I am from Central Arkansas originally but I now live in Houston, Texas. My favorite thing about Houston? Nice temperate weather almost year round. I hate being cold. Also, I love having so much right out my front door. There is so much to do here!
I just love reading your posts everyday, I have a little boy who just turned one and I can't wait for a little girl, until that time I love reading all the blogs out there with little girls, Harper sure is cute!
I am in Denver, CO and the weather here has been wonderful this winter, not much snow and lots of sun. Over the weekend it was in the 70s and today back in the 40s with snow... but I have to say that what I really love about Denver are the people. It is just a great place to live, lots of fun activities and GREAT weather (over 300 days of sun a year, you can't beat that!)
I'm from Bristow, OK and I absolutely love the fact I'm far enough away from a big city to have totally silence at night...but close enough to drive in a short amount of time.
There is nothing like living out in the country. You couldn't pay me to live in a city.
Oh yeah...and my daughter LOVES Baby Einstein too! I haven't watched Praise Baby with her yet but I might have to get one for her. I'm thinking it would be great for her Easter basket ;)
I know they've been photographed before, but those argyle leggings are adorable!!! Where, oh where did you get them???
I'm from Chicago. It is Spring break here too. For this momma, it means less break:) My four 1/2 year old is home from pre-school this week and my one year old is loving it. So far, for day one of break, we are having fun. My favorite think about Spring is watching the trees turn from stark to beautiful, but I miss watching the Kudzu emerge in the South (I used to live in Atlanta).
Blessings to you and your adorable Harper. I have loved seeing her recovery, your faith and the blossom of a SAHM. It is the hardest job you'll ever have, but I promise you will grow so much as a Christian, as a human and as a mother. It is worth all of the sacrifice! Your entry about quitting your job made me cry b/c it came on a day when I was lusting for a job (any job). It brought me to my knees and made me appreciate what I have.
Thank you,
Tasha
hi kelly, i'm from Central PA (north of the state's capitol Harrisburg). my favorite thing is the seasons... i have a gorgeous view of a mountain from my kitchen and in the fall its so quick to remind me of the blessings we have to experience the colors changing... in the summer there's lots to do like the drive in theater and a ferry boat to take us across the river (makes going to nana and pap's house so much fun).
Kelly,
I'm from Iowa..the Des Moines area. I love that I see ALL the changing of the seasons here. Also, the people are pretty nice here too.
:)
I'm a NC girl!!! It is sunny and beautiful here today.
Matilda Jane...Love it! Love it!! And the Praise Baby videos are the best!! I love the music and how colorful the pictures are!!
Harper looks like she has gotten so long. Amazing how fast they grow.
I have been praying all day for Stellan.
angela
Hey Kelly! I grew up in Texas but married a Nebraska boy and still live here. I really like that my city is "comfortable"...not too big, not too small (about 250,000 people). We are all pretty much Cornhusker fans and the sporting events are the best thing about living here. (I'd move back to Austin in a heartbeat...don't tell my hubs) ;)
hi kelly, my little jaelyn (5 months old) slept in her little seat for quite sometime and then transitioned into her pack n play next to my bed. next step is the big crib in her room, not sure when i will do that.
i am originally from pennsylvania, moved "down south" 10 years ago. i live outside of charltotte, nc. i love the weather here. we don't have terribly cold (compared to pa.) winters, although this one was cold and having a newborn we were inside a lot. it is pretty warm here during spring and fall and HOT during the summer. today has been beautiful...70 degrees and sunny. i am dreaded the forecasted rain this week :(
I LOVE Harper's hat! Girls are way too much fun to dress!!!
I started following your blog right around the time Harper was born and sent many prayers in your direction while she was sick. Now, I just love reading your great posts and hearing how things are going with your sweet girl!
I'm originally from Buffalo, NY, but relocate to Ohio when I got married. My husband and I live in Uniontown, OH, which is a small town outside of Canton. I never thought I would enjoy being an "Ohio girl", but now I can't imagine life any other way!
Hi! I am from Colorado Springs, CO. I'm currently on Spring Break from teaching, but our weather has gotten COLDER! Last week, we had 70 degree weather that was goregous. Today, in the 40s and cloudy.
We have some crazy weather in this town, but that is the norm for us! I would say that my "favorite," though, is when it is warm enough in the evenings to drive with the windows down in my car. I would say sometime toward the end of May or so. It always smells so fresh and is so peaceful!
Kelly! I've commented a few times and followed your blog for a while. I live in Atlanta- the weather is gorgeous here today, but sometimes I'd trade weather for better traffic! ha! Although- I stay at home with my girls so I'm not in it much. LOVE Baby Einstein videos- my girls loved them too! I head about Praise Baby too late for my little ones- I've heard they are wonderful. So happy that you are blessed to stay at home! It's the best thing I've ever done! Take care!
Kelli
Very cute clothes! It's fun to find things that are unique and beautiful!
I'm in Connecticut and I love the daily progess of watching the trees bloom with bright green leaves! I told my daughter to look at the polka dots on the branches because she wanted to see them too! BEAUTIFUL creation!!
Hey Kelly,
I'm from Summit, MS. Our weather seems to be about the same as yours. We had a beautiful Spring Break last week. Today it is pretty out again, but tomorrow the rain is supposed to set in for a few days. Right now, I would have to say my favorite thing about where I live is all the reminders of God's grace and glory. All the changes with the plants and everything getting green is just encouraging and amazing to me. I live in an older neighborhood with many old houses like mine, which is 105 years old. The yards all consist of tons of azaelas(?), crepe myrtles, wisteria, gardenia, etc, and they are all blooming like crazy!!! It's absolutely beautiful here.
Glad Harper did well in her new diggs last night! I love her little hat! She is so cute in it!
I live in freezing NH. You never know what the temp is going to hold here! I love how close I am to the ocean. The summers here are very nice, and I spend a lot of time in Mass at the ocean! I hate how cold the winters are!
Hi Kelly,
I am from Western Washington. What I love about where I live is we have all four seasons but no extremes. We have a few really hot days and a few really cold days but besides that our weather is pretty good. I live near the water but with the mountains just a couple of hours away. What I love about spring here, is the fields and fields of tulips that are just about to pop up. I live near what is called the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival and people come from all over to see the wonderful tulips. Every year I can't wait to see the wonderful bright colors. This year I can't wait to take my baby girl's picture in them! I can't wait for better weather, today it's cold, wet, and windy!
I grew up in Michigan. I love the Michigan Fall. It's so beautiful there!!! I also love all my family that lives there. Since then I have lived in Charlotte, NC, DFW, TX and now we have finally landed in Baltimore, MD. I also loved how beautiful NC was and I loved the warm weather in TX. MD is very pretty too and there is so much to do and it is so close to go to so many neat and historic places. That's what I love about our new location.
we're from dallas/fort worth, and our favorite part about it is that it's, well, TEXAS!
you're a native, too, right? you know we're a proud people. :0)
lol...seriously, we love the lifestyle here. we're somewhere in the middle of dallas and fort worth, and there's so much culture here. there's lots of art, great GREAT shopping, the most restaurants per capita in the country, cowboy and culture come together in FW, and dallas is so sophisticated. there's something for everyone here!
and we love the live music scene too. unsigned, independent folk/Americana/country artists are our favorites!
I live in Snohomish Washington - about 30 miles from Seattle.
I love Seattle. I like to visit the Pike Street market & get fresh flowers.
Seattle is a beautiful city & it doesn't rain as much as people say.
What cute clothes!!!
I live in SW Missouri about an hour north of you. It's cloudy and windy here.....my umbrella blew inside out when I went to Hobby Lobby earlier.
I love that the weather changes often (I also hate it). Spring is beautiful here and since I drive all over many rural areas, I see lots of spring. Last week I was surprised by 2 deer on my way to an appointment. As long it is only deer and not the mountain lions and bob cats, I am ok.
Hey Kelly! I currently live in the Houston area. Even though it gets incredibly humid and HOT here, we love this great city! There are tons of things to do - many fun and educational places to take the kids. Lots of great places to eat! It's also pretty affordable! So what - the traffic is bad and roaches are plentiful, but who cares? Life is good!
Ok, first, I am jealous that your so "stylish" lol.
I am Crystal. I live in Wilmington NC and LOVE THE weather, and the fact that I live 4 mins from the beach!
Hi Kelly! I live in Birmingham, AL. Right now it is sunny and in the low 70's. That rain you are experiencing today we are gettign tomorrow:(
I hope you are feeling better!
Hello from Northwest Indiana...home of the Indiana Dunes. It's like living near an ocean in the summer but we still get to enjoy the other 3 seasons!
Love you blog! I must admit, that I stalk it! :o) Your little girl is precious and always so wonderfully dressed!
Hi Kelly,
I'm from Ottawa, not Ottawa Canada but Ottawa, Illinois. It's a fairly small town about an hour away from Chicago. I am a transplant from Texas and so it's been nice having seasons for the first time in my life. I also love the cute small town feel and the food is great here too. Lots of mom and pop places to eat. However, shopping can be a downer since we don't have a mall.
Hi Kelly! I'm from southern Indiana...so far south I can see Kentucky from my office window. I've always lived here but have a huge connection to Arkansas because my dad and his whole family were born and raised in Arkansas.
I love living here because my family is here, I love walks by the river and we get ALL the seasons from blizzards to 100+ temps. I'm also within 3 hours of Nashville, Louisville, St. Louis and Indy so big city life is always within reach.
Hi Kelly
I am from a Phoenix, AZ suburb. Saturday it was 90degrees here then a cold front came through (no rain) and today we are a chilly 64degrees. That is one of the things I love about living here! In the winter my kids play outside almost every day. We think 50degrees is cold and you can still play outside with a jacket and hat. And in the summer when it can get up to 115degrees, we go to the pool! We've lived here for 5 years and we spend a lot more time outside now than where we lived before!
I love your blog and your darling Harper!
PRAYING FOR STELLAN!!!!!!!!!!!
Heather
I'm from Summerville, SC. The weather is wonderful and the rivers and beaches are beautiful. But we're fixing to pack it up and move to Minnesota. I pray i'm going to be able to deal with such cold weather, but i'm sure our boys will love the snow!
Hey Kelly,
I'm from Japan. I'm a missionary. My favorite thing about Japan is the people...they are so very sweet and respectful. I have loved reading your blog and praying for your little Harper. Love from Japan!
Sarah
I am from Kansas City, Missouri. Nothing too special about that though. :) What I do like is that I am around all of my family, which is very important to me. I live within 10-15 minutes of them.
Hi Kelly! I live in East Tennessee. We have beautiful seasons here and I love that we get to experience them all!
I am from Des Moines, Iowa. It is raining here today and supposed to thunderstorm tonight. I actually love my 4 seasons! I am enjoying the start to spring, it has been 65 degrees or warmer the last few days even with the rain! My tulips are coming up! However, anyone who lives in Iowa knows how the weather can change, there is rain/snow forecast for Saturday!!
Hi Kelly,
I'm from Brisbane, Australia!! Although at the moment i'm visiting my family in the UK...Its freezing here at the moment. I can't leave the house without putting layers upon layers of clothes on!
In brisbane its lovely and warm. We are in the "sub-tropics" So it gets humid in the summer and rains a lot, but the winter is lovely.
I love reading your blog, you have inspired me to blog!
Hope you have a lovely day.
Love
Sass
I live in Northeast GA. I love that we have a lake near by, awesome parks and a great school!
The weather is not bad either!
Hi Kelly,
I have been reading your blog for a 4 months or so now. I am from Magnolia, TX but attending college here at A&M in College Station, TX. The weather here in College Station is windy, cloudy, and warm! We are supposed to be getting a lot of rain later this week! I'm glad my spring break was last week! :)
Christa
Hi Kelly, Cute pics of Harper!
I'm from Oregon, 30 minutes from Portland. I've lived here all my life. Never even lived outside of my county!
I could say I would love to move to a different state just to say I did but I don't see that happening.
My favorite thing of where I live would most likely be that we live close to a major city, an hour and a half to Mt Hood for snow fun and an hour and a half to the ocean.
Hi Kelley! We live in the Oklahoma City area (just west of ya'll!) so you guys probably get all the weather we send you. We love Oklahoma because it's the slow way of life :)
We are in Central Texas and this is the nicest time of the year here. It is 79 today, just beautiful outside.
That is so funny, Bentley is also sleeping in her pack and play. Since she was born she slept beside by bed in her bassinet. Since Bentley is so small she finally out grew it at 6 months. I don't think she is too much bigger than Harper.. Bentley is 13.4 pounds right now. I was too scared to put her in her room so I pulled out the pack and play and placed it beside my bed. And she will be there for a while.. with surgery soon appraching.. either that or I am going to have to move my bed in her room. ;)
Love the pictures, she's a doll!
Hey Kelly,
Robin from Conway, AR...transplant from BK, AR! :) We have a few friends in common...three in fact. {Krisie- OBU, Amy- Flippin, Bader's- NWA} And to think they don't even know each other! Such a small world.
Sorry I didn't give you a heads up on Baby Einstein...Raegen STILL loves them! We have the box set...so worth the $$.
I love reading your blog...found it via Bring the Rain...love her too!
I am a military wife and I can honestly say I have loved every place we have lived-some more than others, of course! All 7 of them! Currently we are in Abilene, TX and what makes this place so great is the people! Friendly, caring, conservative and fun! This summer we'll move to location #8-Washington DC!
Harper is such a doll and I am so thankful our prayers were answered. By the way, Little Rock was our home for 4 years and it's where my almost 11 year old was born. It was a fantastic place to live!
I'm from a country town in the state of Victoria in Australia and my favorite thing about where I live would be the clear skys, lots of trees , good schools, good hospital and a sense of community. It is also close to my mum and my in-laws and I guess it is 'home'!
I'm originally from just north of Boston, but I'm in school in Charleston, SC. I love the weather down here in the south! But I miss the north, too :)
Hey Kelly! Another blog friend in Georgia --- Sugar Hill actually. :) The weather is beautiful today...it's in the 70's. My favorite thing about Georgia, is my family. All born and raised here. Other favorites are Georgia Football, sweet tea, and Cherry Limades (yep - from Sonic). I'm sure you can relate....
-Michelle
oops! I meant to say.. beside my bed.. not by bed.
Currently living in OH, but a born and raised (and always will be) a Minnesota girl at heart!
I love OH because of how honestly nice everyone is. Sure, I work in probation, so not everyone is nice to others, but when we moved here, we felt instantly welcomed and at ease.
My favorites of MN are: the water! (you don't realize how much it is a part of your life until it isn't there...) and knowing the highways and backroads for everywhere to go! (also that fam and friends are there!)
love your blog!
I live in Rockwall, TX. I love the fact that we usually get one or two snow (ice) days and we can wear winter clothes for a few weeks. I also love how beautiful is is in the spring and fall. And you can't beat a long, hot summer.
I live in New Jersey and today it is 40 degrees and really windy. I'm super jealous of your spring-like weather that you've been having there. I grew up in Arkansas and I miss the weather SO much! (except for the crazy storm season...don't miss that at all)
Hey Kelly,
I am from Waco, Texas and my fav thing would have to be somewhat warm winters! occasionally we will get snow here and there and maybe 2 days of ice and that is it! the fall here is something beautiful to see too!
im glad Harper is doing better! Ive been reading the blog for a while now & keeping the prayers going! Congrats on being able to stay home w/ her. U dont know how lucky u are!!!
I'm in NWA too- this gloomy day... boo.
Hey Kelly! I am from Frankfort, KY, but now live in Florence, KY! Everyone around me thinks I am from Tennessee because I still have my southern accent! My favorite thing about where I live are the seasons. Just when you are sick of one type of weather, rest assured, here comes something else! I am so fortunate to get to experience snow in the winter and sunshine and high temperatures in the summer!
I love your blog and love seeing Harper's daily pictures! :)
I live in the windy Texas panhandle :) Family is my favorite thing about where I live. We lived in Missouri for three years and I learned when we moved back to Texas how much I had missed our sunrises and sunsets. I too am curious about where everyone lives and their lives. I have been at home from work today with a bad case of asthma and I have been reading blogs of blogs of blogs. One thing I notice about you southern girls is you are great decorator's and always dressed up?! Kelly, you have a precious daughter!
Harper is more and more adorable every day!!
I live near Albany, NY. And my favorite thing about being up here is the summer and fall. Summer up here is A-MA-ZING! That's how it gets me to stay. I'm all, NY I love you in the summer. And then we have yet another love affair in the fall. The candy colored leaves and crisp air and blue skies. Then winter comes and NY and I totally un-friend each other on FB, so to speak. And then....summer....we make up....and the cycle continues!! :)
I'm from western Missouri and my favorite thing about it is that my family is there! Now I live in Illinois. I never thought I'd miss my tiny hometown, but I do!
Hey Kelly,
I live in Glen Allen, VA, just outside Richmond. I love it here b/c we have the traditional southern charm but it's also modern w/ the shopping, etc. I love it here. I also love that we are in a state that has all 4 seasons and within about 3 hours we can either be in the mountains or at the beach!
Harper looks too cute. Oh to have a girl!!!!!!! :0)
Jenny
I am from a tourist town in Southern Indiana! Our biggest attraction is our leaves during the fall! I love being in a small town but loved that we were also the place to visit during the fall. I feel lucky to have all four seasons and enjoy them all! We also live really close to a college town which offers so much fun diversity, restaurants, shopping and etc...!
Hi Kelly! I live in Lowell here in wonderful NWA! I think that is why I have so much fun reading your blog because I live here too and couldn't love it more. I hear we are going to have yucky storms tonight though. Reading your blog is one of the highlights to my day. I love your positive outlook!
I am from the upstate of SC but have moved to the midlands. One thing I love about my town is that the people are so nice and welcoming!
I love your blog! I just recently had my first child and enjoy reading about your time with Harper! I also LOVE her bows!
Hi Kelly! I love your blog and Harper is adorable!
I live in Arizona and I absolutley love it! What I love about it is the warm sunny weather - yay! I am a total summer girl and I love that I can drive 5 hours to the ocean/beach or I can drive 2.5 hours to the snow.
Have a great week!
I just love that diaper bag and quilt. Except mine would need Sooner stuff on it. lol! Harper is so cute, I just love her outfits. I have a boy so I love looking at her clothes.
Jamie
Hi Kelly! I am from Placentia, California. About 10 minutes from Disneyland! :) What can I say about living in southern California? It's perfect. Gorgeous weather all-year, can be to the beach in 30 minutes, the mountains in 1.5 hours or the desert in 2 hours. I am born and raised here and it would be hard for me to leave.
My grandma lives in Peel, Arkansas. Every heard of it? Not too far from you I think. :)
Your Harper is just adorable and I look forward to reading your blog each day.
I am from the Minneapolis, MN area. I love the difference between all 4 of the seasons here. The winters do get too long, though! :-) Today is rainy and gloomy here, too. I guess our weather isn't that different from yours today.
I'm from Salt Lake City,Utah and love the mountains out here! I was born and raised and lived the first 30 years of my life in Atlanta, GA so I am a true southern girl at heart but I have learned to love the west, too. We get 4 true seasons out here - I just always miss spring when it starts down south and we are still suffering through snow storms - like today!
I'm from Jacksonville, Florida and I love the beaches and the palm trees :) I am SO ready for summer!!
Praying for Stellan!
I live in Sarasota, Florida and it is beautiful here! I feel very blessed to live where people vacation and thank God every time I drive over the bridges and see all of the palm trees. This is the prettiest time of the year here, not super hot yet but it's coming!
Hi Kelly and Harper! I've been following your blog since you were pregnant (sometime last fall) and it's so much fun to see Harper growing and changing. She's a doll!! I live in Wichita, KS and although I grew up in California and love it there...I really do like it here.
I love spring but especially love SUMMER!
I was born and raised where I love in Virginia Beach. There isn't one thing I love most...of course there's the beach, but I love the familiarity of everything, and I love having my parents so close by for my kids...it doesn't get any better!
I am from Middle Tn. outside of Nashville. I love the many places we have to eat and our town is so pretty and they are building new businesses all the time. I also love my church and neighborhood!
I'm from Scottsdale, AZ born and raised. I love it here. Although the summers are HOT, it's beautiful at least 9 mos of the year. There's so much to do outside! And the mountains in the northern part of the state provide a nice getaway complete with pine trees, cooler weather and even snow. It's heaven...
Harper is so cute...look at how big she is getting. I bet she was so much more comfy sleeping in that pack and play and being all stretched out.
Matilda Jane...now that is eye candy ~ YUMMY! I love it and wish I could have one of every outfit for my sweet Emma in every size (ha). As a matter of fact I have been considering becoming a "Jane" and a Trunk Keeper myself. There is only 1 rep in my area and she is super swamped!
Have a great week.
I'm a Georgia girl! My parents still live in the home they built and moved into when they married - almost 59 years ago now. I have lived all over the northern suburbs of Atlanta, but always within 50 miles of my home now.
What's great about Georgia? Distinct seasons, (winters aren't too bad, though) lots of fun things to do, we have beautiful mountains AND border the Atlantic Ocean, peaches, pecans, Vidalia onions, family, history, friends, and so much more!
Long time lurker. Harper is just gorgeous!!! I live in Carmel, California it is about 100 miles south of San Francisco and 350 miles north of Los Angeles right on the coast. Clint Eastwood was our mayor at one time and still lives here. The weather is sunny but chilly today, about 60 degrees...
I'm an AirForce wife so I go where ever hubby goes. We currently live in Dover, DE. I love this area because of the season changes. We also love the slow pace of the area.
I was born and raised in GA but I currently live in Knoxville,TN I live here because I am currently attending the University of Tennessee and so I love the atmosphere as well as the fact that I can walk everywhere. I also enjoy that Knoxville is much smaller than Atlanta and has not lost its southern charm!
Rain and gloom I can handle - can you believe we are getting SNOW here today?! SNOW!! Crazy!
I am born and raised in Southern California, just 10 minutes from the beach. I love the 70's weather year round, the air smelling like salt water and gardenias and the great shopping!! (Hard to get a bargain there but so fun to window shop!) Right now we are living in Utah, outside of Salt Lake City. I love the four seasons here, that I can grow tulips and I mostly love my neighborhood in the summer evenings - so many cute kids running around, all the adults chatting outside, lots of impromptu BBQ's and get togethers. The people here are so friendly! It's been a great place to raise our kids!
I'm from Roan Mountain, Tennessee - right on the NC Tenn border. I love everything about where I live - the incredibly beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, ever-changing seasons, wildflowers, waterfalls, hiking.... I could go on and on. For those of you who have never visited here, I highly recommend a trip. You won't regret it!
Hi Kelly!
I'm Amanda my daughter is Maria. We live in NW Indiana (right on the IL IN state line) I love that we acutally experience 4 totally different seasons. Summer gets very hot and winter gets very cold! I could do with out the very cold but It's worth it seeing a beautiful white Christmas, or watching a toddler experience snow for the first time. Also I love that we live close enough to downtown Chicago to just drive to a Sox game, or to Navy Pier or something like that. Buy we also live far enough away to not be in the "city."
Harper is just a doll! Thank you for posting all the time! Good luck with the pack n play at night!
Gods Blessings!
Amanda
Hi! I live in North Texas. I love that if you don't like the weather all you have to do is wait a couple days and it will change drastically in spring and fall.
A few weeks ago it was 36 degrees then a few days later it was 80 degrees.
Yea for Harper sleeping in the pack-n-play! Kinley refused to sleep flat for a while too. We elevated the p-n-p on one end and now we have her mattress elevated where she sleeps at an incline...like in the bouncy. Praise the Lord for bouncy seats and swings! We couldn't live without both at our house.
I'm in the PNW.
(Pacific Northwest for the uninitiated.)
It is SO GREEN here and a bit chilly today, but we slept with the windows open because we love the froggie songs at night and the birdie songs in the morning!
I'm from Northeastern Illinois!!! I love that we are right in between Milwaukee, WI & Chicago, IL! You never know what youa re going to get weather wise too, so taht keeps it interesting!
This is my first time to comment. I've been lurking around since I read all over the blogging world about praying for Harper while she was in NICU. She is adorable and I praise God for answering prayers.
To answer your question, I like in Springfield, Oregon where the weather has been very mixed lately. We had some beautiful, sunny, warmer days and then a lot of rain and now just cold. However, my favorite thing about living here is that I can drive about an hour or 2 in any direction and either reach an ocean, a mountain, a river, or a desert. If you're outdoorsy at all (which I'm not, but I can appreciate God's handiwork) then you can experience it all in its full glory!
I am from Paris, Tennessee - the home of "The World's Biggest Fish Fry", which is held in April. This week-long event is HUGE in my little town. There is a fair all week long, rodeos, and other activities every night at the fairgrounds. And on Friday, there is a parade that brings all the festivities to an end. Not to mention - awesome fried catfish all week long.
Hey Kelly,
Harper is growing like a weed and such a beautiful girl. I live in south Louisiana about halfway between Baton Rouge and New Orleans in a little town called Prairieville. Does that make me a country bumpkin? I think so. My absolute favorite thing is watching the Japanese magnolias bloom in early February. They're a sure signal that springtime is near.
Hi Kelly,
I'm a transplant from southwest Kansas now calling Idaho my home. This is where my husband is from. I really love it here. The weather has been in the 60's and 70's lately, but it's cooler today. The sun is still shining though so my girls are playing outside. Can't wait until spring; although I'm not quite ready for all the yard work. Harper is adorable. Thanks for all the updates!
I am from Charleston, IL. What I do like about where I live is that most of my family lives here too. I enjoy summer, spring, and fall here, but I loathe the cold snowy winter! It could be worse but I would love to live where the daily temperature was about 70 degrees, but it would get hot enough for the pool/lake and cool enough to wear cute winter clothes! I would actually love to move back to FL!
We are in South Dakota. It was almost 70 degrees here on Saturday, and they are calling for snow on Thursday and Friday. Oh well. I am also a huge fan of Praise Baby, and think those people deserve some type of Peace Prize, as it's the only thing that provides this Mommy peace when my twins are crabby. (My older daughter loved them too!)
I am in WA state, just south of Seattle. I love the ocean, mountains and year around green! We do get a lot of rain and it gets very old sometimes. We are starting to see buds and bits of green. I grew up mostly in the SW, moved here from Fort Smith, AR. I have grown to love the PNW, come visit anytime! I am a big fan of spring break since I teach...
Jennifer
I'm from Maryborough, Queensland, Australia! Yay Australia, yes it truly is a wonderful country to live in! My only complaint would be that the seasons where I live aren't completely different- just subtle changes. Summer is gloriously hot though- very humid! the beach is only 30 minutes away from here and GORGEOUS!!!! Out little town is heritage, where the ships first arrived to settle from England in early 1900's. Lots of history, it's a lovely little community! :) We're just coming into Autumn and the cooler weather is bliss. :)
I live in Stamford, CT and I looove the fall in my state! The past few years have been kind of lame, but in the past, the leaves turn such beautiful colors! It's so pretty to see while you're driving or taking a walk!
I started reading your blog when I lived in Hawaii Kelly! Does that count?? Now we live in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We've been here almost a year. I don't know what my "favorite thing" is yet, because I feel like we've been so cooped up all winter. I guess I like being back on the mainland and having access to all the restaurants and stores Hawaii didn't have...but I sure do miss the beaches and weather!! Bring on some Spring & Summer weather!!
I live in Colorado Springs Colorado. I grew up in Colorado and the saying here is if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes and it will change. Yesterday it was 74 and today it is cloudy in the 50's and really windy! You need to have a heavy coat and a hoody in your car at all times!
Hey Kelly!! I'm from Savannah, GA and I LOVE it!! We don't really have 4 seasons here (we don't at all!). We tend to have only a few weeks of fall-ish and spring-ish weather, but I love it!! We're having spring right now.. It's nice and breezy and oh so sunny. But this weather brings out the gnats since we're surrounded by water, so that stinks!! Give it 2 more weeks it will be so hot here you'll "glisten" continually! There must be something wrong with me because that's my fave time of year!!
I think Harper gets a little prettier every time you post a pic =)
Poor Stellan- I cannot stop thinking of him! I live in Colorado- where it's raining or snowing one second, then fifteen minutes later- it's 70 degrees. I love it though!! It has been really nice(over the weekend) and now windy! My favorite thing about Colorado are the mountains-beautiful! I will keep praying for Mr. Stellan- he sure is a fighter!!
Harper is a doll- have a great day!
Hey Andrea! If you read this, where between Milwaukee and Chicago do you live? I grew up in Waukegan!
Hi Kelly,
I'm from Alabama! It's been gorgeous here the last few days! My favorite thing has to be the people...I never want to leave the South! :)
I love your blog, especially the pictures you post of Harper! She's adorable!
I'm from upstate NY, three hours north of the city. I love the summers here, but the winters are way too cold! It's so cool to see Harpers progress! She is getting SO big!!
~Alyssa
Hey this blog took your button!... isn't this you and Harper!? Very stylish ;)

I'm from Athens, Greece and my favorite thing about where I live are the beaches and how we are within driving distance of 20 beaches or so :)
Give a kiss to Harper from me!
Tina
She is so cute. I LOVE the bag and blanket!
I am in Alvin, Texas (a small town just south of Houston). I love living here because it never snows! I'm not a big fan of cold weather. November/December/January are perfect for the holiday - not too hot and not too cold.
Hi Kelly! I live in Oakland, TN which is a suburb of Memphis. What I like about living here is the small town feel and Memphis Basketball of course!! I also love that my family is here. Would love to move somewhere out west someday though!!
i'm from good ole wisconsin. where it can thunder in december and snow in may! but it's all good. i live in the same small town i grew up in. and my husband and i live in the house his parents lived in and the house his dad's parents lived in. so it's a nice ole farm house. i've been stalking your blog for awhile! it's so fun. and your baby girl is SO cute!!
Hi Kelly, I found your blog from my friend Renee and have been lurking for some time. I have a 13 month little boy and am loathing in Harper's clothes. I have an obsession with clothes and can't imagine how dangerous I would be with a girl :)
I live in Clarksville, TN a suburb of Nashville. I love it here because I am an hour from my lake house and really enjoy watching the seasons change from my secluded porch. I love each season but am also ready to see the next one come! I am a teacher so summer is my fav!
Columbus, Mississippi here! The weather is absolutely gorgeous and my favorite thing about where I live is the Pilgrimage and my church!!
Love your blog! I check it daily! Harper is gorgeous! I know you're one proud Mama! :)
I am from Houston Texas. I love the weather.. Yes the crazy Texas weather.. Hot one day... COLD the next.. (cold for us is about 40)
Also my family all lives about 7 minutes apart. It is wonderfuul!
North Carolina baby!!! The coast that is! Today the weather was beautiful, sunny and around 63. I can't wait for it to warm up a little more. The thing that I love best about where I live is going out in the boat, anchoring the boat at Cape Lookout, and spending the day laying on the shore. Absolute paradise. We won't be able to do that much this year though because we have a little one as well. We adopted Avery Lane and she is now 7 weeks old! So glad to hear that Harper is doing great!
Danielle
Cove City, NC
Hi Kelly,
I live in Mount Vernon, Washington (about an hour north of Seattle). I love that within a few hours we can go to the ocean, the mountains, the sound, the dessert, or Canada! We have the tulip festival coming up next month and it is an absolutely gorgeous time of year in the valley.
I'm sorry to say that I drove through Arkansas once and the red, muddy rivers didn't endear me to the area. I'm sure there are more beautiful areas in Arkansas besides those that parallel the freeway, though!
I love reading about Harper and your family.
Hello
I'm Kate and I live in rural South Wales - though I show up as Worcester on most counters and tickers!
I love living in the countryside surrounded by rolling hills and valleys. I love hearing the owls hooting at night and the horses whineying in the day. I love the diversity of landscapes within a short drive of home. But most of all I love sharing it with my gorgeous daughter - Alice, who's 2 and a half and has been home from China since July 07.
I blog too. I love reading blogs and I've been reading your blog since Harper was born.

Baby Einstein videos are the best!! My son loves them. It's about the only way I get a shower in when I'm at home with him by myself.
I'm from a small town in South Dakota. I love being in the country but also love the fact that our town is close enough to our biggest city in the state, so there is plenty to do. Last week our weather was gorgeous. My son and I went for a walk every day!! Today it is raining and windy. The western part of our state has a bunch of blizzard warnings and stuff.
I'm in MD and it's a cool, sunny day here.
The God Made Me videos are great, too....along the same line as the others!
Hey Kelly,
I was born and raised and still live in Charleston, SC. It was GORGEOUS here today. I think it got to 76 degrees. Maybe y'all should come visit us?
-Kayce
I am from Ohio and right now the weather is beautiful. I love the change of seasons, however this winter has been very long and I can't wait for it to be over.

I currently live in Southern Maryland. (I love the light winters with barely any snow!)
We are moving to Clarksburg, WV NEXT WEEK!!!! (It's my hubby's home state and I can't wait to live in the mountains! Plus we're buying a house there so that tops it for me!)
I live outside of Atlanta about 70 miles south of Chattanooga, TN. I've traveled quite a bit and have lived in PA, MI, OH, CA, NV, AZ, and Europe. What I love about here is there are four seasons but the cold does not last very long!
I, too, am loving the warm weather and the blooming of the trees and flowers. I am a teacher and get to spend the summer, as well as breaks from school, with my 4 kids (I have 3 girls and 1 boy)!
Summer IS right around the corner!
Harper is such a doll!
I live in Jacksonville, FL about 15 miles from the beach! I can't say that I don't enjoy looking out at the beach EVERYDAY since I work 3 blocks from the ocean!
Hey girl....you know I am from right where you are from, pretty much! But I would love my town much more if you moved here!! Avery Kate would be a playmate for Harper! Speaking of that cutie....LOVE the pics of her....she is changing so much but still absolutely adorable!
Can't believe the weather....I just saw the 7-day forecast and it is RAIN every single day!!!
Love ya!
Harper is just adorable!!! I seriously *love* checking the blog!!!!! I love all her fabulous bows!! Being from the South, i have sweet memories of bows...my mom loved bows!! How sweet is that Harper all ready for her walk?!
I live in Marshall, a small town in far North East Texas. I love the small town feel that's full of southern charm.
Hi Kelly~
Another blogger friend from Georgia:-) My husband is in the Air Force and we are currently stationed at Robins AFB, GA. What I like most about living here is, we are centrally located and we can in TN, AL, FL or the Carolina's within a couple of hours drive.
Hi Kelly!!
I live in "Colorful Colorado!" Although, at the moment, it is not very colorful, mostly brown and gray. I live on the Front Range, just North of Denver and I would not want to live anywhere else!! Colorado is so beautiful and while the weather is super unpredictable 90% of the time, I would not change a thing! The people who live here are super nice and we have a fairly low crime rate--great for raising a family!! Hope you had a great weekend. Harper is looking beautiful, as always!
If I just get to see a picture of your sweet baby everyday,I am a happy camper. You bless me.
I live in Shreveport, La....love it here because that is where my kids and grandkids live....reason enough
Be sure and stop by my blog. Though I am relativity new to blogging, I am loving all my new friends. I am giving away my first EVER BLOG PRIZE and its a good one.
I own a gift basket business and it is the most requested gift over the last 15 years. It is a $100 value and from the comments I have already received, appears to be something a little different and something anyone could use. I am posting later tonight that I have decided to give 3 boxes instead of just one. For all those that read down a couple of posts and read about "My Girl" and "My Boy", and leave a comment their name will be added in the drawing 3 times. I really do want to bless some people!!! I want my blog to bless and encourage others. I have decided that giving is life at its BEST. The drawing will be Saturday!
Happy Monday!
I'm from Virginia... the trees are so beautiful in bloom right now. Our weather has been crazy though, a few weeks ago we had 6 inches of snow and 5 days later it was 80 degrees! Snow suits and shorts all in one week!
I am from beautiful San Diego, CA! I love your blog!
Zoe
Hey Kelly! I am a new blogger and stumbled upon your blog one day. Your little Harper is just too precious! I live in south Louisiana and, hands down, my favorite thing about this time of year is CRAWFISH BOILS!! Yummmy, yummy!
I live south of Seattle. Halfway between Seattle and Portland. :)
The best thing about WA state is the summers and being able to see the green trees and mountains!
Hi Kelly! I love keeping up with your blog. I live in Athens, Georgia, home of the GEORGIA BULLDOGS (Go Dawgs!), which is only one of the many great things about it! We have great weather, lots of trees and flowers, and a ton of great parks! Come visit!
I am in East Texas. My favorite thing is all the huge pine trees around us.
My little boy would only sleep in his bouncy seat for the first couple of months. It took him several weeks to adjust to sleeping in his crib. Good Luck!!!!
Hey Kelly and baby Harper!
I grew up in the great state of North Dakota and now live in Superior, WI on the beautiful Lake Superior! My favorite thing is summer walks along the lake and the changing leaves in the fall. The winters get a little long, but glad that summer is around the corner! The first day of Spring...we made a snowman! Gotta love the seasons here!
I have to say that I love your blog and thank you for sharing your experiences with us.
I'm a faithful reader from Nashville, TN! You can definitely come visit us ANY time! :) I love reading about you and your sweet family (pup included)! A few of my favorite things about TN: beautiful farm land, the hills, and the beautiful colors of the trees!
Here in Central NY, I love to see everything come back to life. God was so thoughtful to give such beauty for us to enjoy. I have decided to dedicate my Monday blogs to all things Spring in NY. Hope you are feeling better!
Hi Kelly! Love your blog. Originally from Louisiana, I moved to Indianapolis 2 years ago and I absolutely love the seasons. In the south, you really do not have a season, but here in the Midwest it is evident. The city has a phenomenal paved trail that starts downtown and goes something like 20 miles north. On the first warm day it is flooded with bikers, walkers, runners, dogs, anyone/anything needing a kiss of sunshine.
Oh... Little Harper is so precious...
Well, I am from Brazil. I am originally from Curitiba, but I live in São Paulo right now.
I miss my hometown a lot. The thing that I miss the most are my family and friends (Yes, I am a little homesick these days ; ))
Fabiola
Hey Kelly, I'm in south Arkansas. The best part of living here are both sets of grandparents are so close and the super small school (pre-k - 12th) on one campus.
I am originally from Riverside California. Things I love about California where I grew up is the shopping, malls and stores EVERYWHERE! Being 30 min from the beach 30 min from camping and riding motorcycles, 3 hours from Vegas, 3 hours from Mexico. Lots and lots to do. And In N Out burger! yum!! What about you??
I live in West Virginia and go to school at WVU--the home of the Mountaineers! :) (and just like everyone else I LOVE your blog!! I stumbled across it linked from a friend's page from Texas!)
I live right in the middle of New York City and love it. I love the museums, theater and just walking and looking at shop windows. I grew up in CT and loved the autumn most of all! Changing leaves and pumpkins and each view prettier than the next.
Hi Kelly! I think this might be my first time posting here...
I'm from Southeastern New Mexico. My favorite thing about living here is the amazing Mexican food and the mild winters.
God Bless you and your beautiful family!
What a cute bag and blanket! Harper looks so sweet all the time...so hard to believe she could ever be "screaming her head off!" Bless her bitty heart! I live in a small town outside of Atlanta...I love that I get the small town feel by knowing people (in just the five short years I've lived here) in town and yet I'm 20 mins from downtown Atl. Best of both worlds, I guess! And of course, I love living in the South. I don't ever even want to THINK about leaving. If I could live anywhere else though in the world...I'd move to the lowcountry. Other than that, I love it here!
Sweet Kelly ...
I'm from Houston, TX and I must say one of my favorite thing about my city is Tuesday night Bible study with Beth Moore (yeah ... I know I'm spoiled!) I also love when the rodeo rolls into town (won't be back until next February) and queso and chips from Escalantes. I'm not a native Houstonian, but I am so proud of how my city opened her heart to the people of New Orleans after Katrina. They showed the world how important it is to love on those who need it the most.
Hi Kelly!
I love reading your blog and of course seeing all the adorable outfits that your beautiful Harper has!
I'm from Montpelier, Vermont. I love to snowboard in the winter and kayak in the summer :0)
<3 HEE
Little Harper is looking might fierce and is on her way of becoming a diva! LOL!
I'm Analiza and I'm from Canyon Country, California. I'm about 15 minutes away from Six Flags, Valencia. I love where I live, it's a mini suburbia (track homes), our weather is perfect (especially today, clear skies, light breeze 70 degrees f.) You can come visit any time!!!! Hee hee! Santa Monica Pier and Zuma Beach are about an hour away.. worth the drive though :D Another great thing about living in LA is that you will almost always see or meet a celebrity and they are so much more down to earth than one would think.
Praying on my knees for Stellan as well.
We live in TN, near Amish Country. I love it because we're not too far from Music City, but not too far from AL either. I love to travel to the Amish in the summer and buy fresh veggies... and stare in wonder! They amaze me.
Hi Kelly! I am from Gordo, Alabama (very small town close to Tuscaloosa). My husband and I currently live in Mobile, AL but will be moving closer to my hometown very soon. I love being from the South!!
Praying for Stellan!
Hi - I live in Oregon and what I love about Oregon is that things stay green here even into the summer months! I also love that we live right between the mountains and the beach and a short drive will take us to either. I found your blog when Harper was born and people were posting it for prayer. So glad she is doing well. I have a sister that live in your neck of the woods when they are on furlough and have visited the area before.
That first photo of Harper is just so stinkin cute.
I am originally from PA, but like to refer to myself as a southern girl (it all started when I went to Harding down in Searcy, AR and just fell in love with the south). My husband is in the military and so we have lived in Tennessee and Seattle and we just moved a few weeks ago to North Carolina. So far the thing I love most about where I live is how close we are to family and the ocean. It is the best of both worlds.
I'm from Texas...about 30 minutes southeast of Houston. I love Texas...hate the heat...but can't imagine being any place else. I love the bluebonnets along the roads in Spring time!
I live in Southern Indiana, in a town known for its cliffs and water falls. I love hiking (umm..walking?) in the park behind my house in the spring and fall--when the trees are blooming and the waterfalls are running...and when the trees change. Moments in that park are some of the most peaceful, it's so beautiful, and such an awesome reminder of God's faithfulness and majesty.
I am from Augusta, GA and right now I love my hometown for the Masters! I am not a huge golf fan any other time of the year, but right now it's hard not to be!!! Plus, the weather is GREAT! Not too cold, not too hot! It's wonderful! Plus, our spring break is right around the corner (it's the same week as the Master's). I am a teacher so I definitely look forward to spring break!
Harper's precious, as always :)
We are in Ringgold, GA, which is in NW Georgia about 5 miles south of Chattanooga, TN. I have always lived in Chattanooga until we got married and found a home we loved in a great location in Ringgold. The best thing about where we are is the beautiful river, lake, and mountains. There is always something to do!
Well, you already know where I'm from but I'll put it here again:) I am from a small town called Santa Maria on the beautiful coast of California. We are so fortunate to have beautiful weather mostly all year round. I only have to drive about 20 minutes to get to the beach. We are so spoiled. It is the only place I've ever lived and I don't think I'd like to live anywhere else!
