I have to share a funny story with ya'll about how small the world really is. (Any of you at Willow Creek - have to share this with Dr. H.)
While I was in the middle of pushing out that 10 pound girl of mine - I had my epidural so I felt just fine so I did what came natural - I chatted with my nurse and doctor. My doctor told me she was from a town in Arkansas where I lived when I was in the 3rd and 4th grade. We discovered we went to the same elementary school and were the same age. The more I thought about it later - the more I thought about this picture I had of me and two of my friends from the 4th grade so yesterday I drug it out.
And here is me in the middle with bangs that desperately need to be cut and to my right in the plaid and maroon outfit - is my doctor!!! I also found a little book that my mom kept that has my school picture each year and my mom would list my favorite subjects and my friends that year. I had to do a people search to make sure what her maiden name was - but there in the 4th grade - was listed one of my friends - Dr. Hinton!
We moved to Texas after the 4th grade but 25 years later - here we are - she delivered my miracle baby. Isn't that a STRANGE coincidence???? Have any of you ever had something like that happen?
We are doing good here at home. We are all hanging out in our pj's - sleeping a lot (well Harper is sleeping a lot).

Cute cute pics of Harper at home. Glad to hear all is going well! What an answer to several hundred or thousand prayers! She's a beautiful baby!
how crazy is that?! H is precious!
What a neat and interesting coincidence!!
love the pics of Harper!!!
I think those are little gifts from God. I remember walking into the NICU to see my boys for the first time and saw that their nurse was a friend from High School.I sobbed and was so thankful. It truly is amazing the little things that happen.
My boys never liked tummy time either !!
Have a wonderful week!!

What a wonderful story. You never know what people the Lord will bring back into your life for a specific reason -- to bless you.
Harper is just as cute as a button. Get some rest when she's resting. You're going to need it (smile).
Bless you.
what a great story! I am so happy Harper is doing so well.
She is sooo beautiful. I have a similar picture of my son like that on his tummy! So glad she is doing so well!
That is so crazy! What a great story.
She is beautiful!
What a wonderful story about you & your Dr. being friends in elementary school!
Harper looks beautiful!
Blessings,
Carol ~ in Tulsa
That is WILD!!! It is a small world! Glad you guys are doing good...I love the pic of Harper sleeping in the Boppy!
Isn't it amazing how life turns out? Both of my kids hated tummy time as well! So glad to hear things are continuing to go so well!
She is such a little angel! And what a strage coincidence!
That is wild. I love when things like that happen!! Harper is such a cutie!!
Oh my word....she gets cuter by the day!
And, the coincidence is awesome! Way to go God!
Everyone at church is following your updates and we all just praised Him today over the fact that you are home. You are loved by many.
Hugs...
What a cool story! So glad to hear that Harper is doing well & eating a lot. :-) She's just the cutest thing.
That is very interesting and a fun story to tell Harper. I am so glad she is home feeling good. She is a cutie pie.
It truly is a small world. What a sweet little girl you have there! My guess is that she will learn to love tummy time!
Good to see her at home and tubeless and wireless!
Hi Kelly,
I've been going to Beth Moore's bible study "Esther" at a local church. I wrote down this quote on the first day. She said, "Coincidences are miracles where God chooses to remain annonymous." Isn't that great?!
Harper is so adorable!!!!!!! Glad to here you are all doing well.
What a great story! And how fun to be able to write that in Harper's baby book with the elementary school picture! She looks like such a smiley baby! I love seeing her precious smiles! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
That's an awesome coincidence! It's funny how things like that happen!
Harper is too cute! I'm loving all the pictures! Keep them coming! :)
OK...another funny story! I can't remember who linked me to your blog a few weeks ago to start praying for sweet Harper. I was surprised to see that you lived in Arkansas since I am originally from Arkansas but now live in South Dakota. Thought that was a coincidence. Now today, I click to check on Harper and see a pic of a couple of MY childhood friends staring back at me! I'm certain the one on your right is Amy and I'm pretty sure your doctor's first name is Emily?? The town you lived in was Benton?? Very small world indeed!
THAT BLOWS ME AWAY. I NEVER MOVED SO I COULD NOT IMAGINE THAT. I AM STILL FRIENDS WITH MY KINDGARTEN FRIENDS... IT SURE IS A SMALL WORLD!
She is such a doll! What a neat story about your doctor. Funny how life happens sometimes. Glad you are home and doing well!
wow! great story, picture, and bangs!!!!!
What a great story! So the dr that delivered Harper, was that noy your OBGYN?
The old photo is great! Love the bangs!!
Harper is adorable!
She's precious, Kelly! I'm loving the facial expressions. Happy Sunday! Oh, my Brennan hates tummy time too. :)
That's funny. Glad to hear you are doing well at home.
Wow, what a coincidence!!!
Harper looks so very precious sleeping! She has the cutest facial expressions!
Megan in SD:
YES - the girl on my left - her name was Amy. And Emily is my dr. And yes we lived in Benton. Isn't it the CRAZIEST WORLD??????
Maybe you and I were friends too??? ha!
I have had things like that happen. . .God does bring people back in our lives at what might appear to be some of the strangest times! :0) His plan is always perfect!!
Harper is so stinkin' cute... then cute, then there's cute...
AMAZING!! What a great story.
That Harper is just PRECIOUS!! So glad you're home getting into the pace of your new life. God is GOOD!
I just had a moment like that today too! I just ran into my new neighbors at World Market (they moved right before our fire, so we didn't get to know them) and I went to high school with him! Isn't it so funny when that happens?!
Harper is too sweet! Keep the pictures coming!!!
Wow! The fact that you have that picture makes the story even more special.
So glad things are going well at home. Harper looks great!
she is just so precious!!
i am glad she is happy and healthy!!
So good to see you settling in to life at home now :)
That is pretty crazy, though - the world gets smaller every day!
Oh wow... God sure knew what he was doing when he found you your doctor!!
XOXO
How awesome is that. I don't believe anything happens by accident. Harper is beautiful. I have been following your postings for about three weeks now. She is one georgeous girl.
Marge in mich
continuing to pray for your family cute pictures
What an amazing coincidence!
Sleeping Beauty looks precious while she sleeps.
tummy time is no fun. i don't have anything exactly like that story, but my husband and i have a similar story. we went to high school together and his best friend lived across the street from me, yet we never met. we went to college in the same town, but never met. when i graduated from college and moved back home, he transferred to a college back here in san antonio...it took us 10 years of being in the same place at the same time to finally meet. God's timing is perfect!
it's also amazing when i start looking at blogs to see how we're all connected. the friend across the street from me is good friends with my cousin and i had no idea until i saw it on her blog :)
Haha what a great story to tell Harper when she's older!
Glad you're all doing well at home. :)
THIS IS CRAZY!!!! That's Aamie (Windsor) Mason in the picture with y'all too! She is one of our very good friends from Benton!! My mom was her husband's administrative assistant at FBC Benton until we moved up here! This is getting too weird, Kelly! I just let Dr. Hinton's mom know that this was on here because I figured that she would love to see this! Seriously, this is crazy!
I hope you have a wonderful afternoon with Harper. She looks so cute on her boppy! Don't you love those?
Thanks for sharing your "coincidence" with us. Isn't it great that God brought the two of you back together. I love hearing how He is involved in the tiniest details of our lives. How precious is His love!
It is a small world! I came across your blog right after Harper's birth through Meredith Blase. As I skimmed through some of your older entries, I saw your mention of Ash Flat & the Martin family reunion - we have cousins in common! Btw, I'm due with my first child - a daughter - in 2 weeks after many years of prayer & waiting. May God continue to bless Harper & your family!
Jennifer Sharp Baker
Kelly, your Harper is a little cupcake - I could eat her up. What an awesome story about your friend/dr. I firmly believe it is no coincidence how we move in and out of each other's lives to help and encourage and build each other up. We are just so happy for you all. I literally hear the hymn "To God be the glory, great things he hath done" in my head, every time I read your blog. You all take care, rest up, eat good, and be well. Love from Kansas -
What a great story! Isn't that crazy?!!
About 53 years ago my dad was overseas (military) when my sister was born here in the states.
When my sister was about 6 months old my mom was finally going to get to move over there with him.
She had my sister and lots of her belongings and was trying to manage by herself.
She was in Paris and a man who was stationed with my dad recognized my mom from a picture he'd seen on my dad's desk. He helped my mom quite a bit the rest of the trip.
I've always thought that was a neat story.
Harper is so beautiful and so happy!
My mom stayed with me for a week after both my kids were born. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her.
Enjoy this special time!
hi pretty!! that is CRAZY about your doctor! it really is a small world. I'm glad things are going good at your home..I've been thinking about you guys!! xoxo
Oh my gosh harper is SOOO precious!!! :) I love those lips!
That is strange!
Cute pics of Harper.
I noticed you said she was hungry again. My mom said she always kept us on a schedule(actually the same schedule the NICU had.) She said that will make your life so much easier. It will take a little bit to get her on a new schedule, though.
It seems like shs is getting more and more beautiful by the minute!
Something similar happened to me. I was in the Air Force and stationed in Idaho when my first son was born. I was pretty good friends with a girl named Becky. When I left Idaho, we didn't keep in touch. Seven years later, I'm out of the Air Force and took my son to a doctor appointment at Ark. Children's Hospital and Becky was his nurse! It was so nice to see her again and get back in touch.
I'm so thankful for the miracle the Lord has done with Harper. She's so so beautiful and looks just like her mama. My 3 month old, John Corbin, hates tummy time, too. He gets soooo mad. My doctor said to keep trying, but I hate doing it to him because he hates it so much!
:-)
Kelly, that is so funny! I know Emily, she was a Kappa with me! Hi Emily!! Ok, where did you go to school with her, because I think I know the other girl as well??? mb
Have to love those coincidences (or possibly divine appointments). :-) I'm so glad to see you are absolutely enjoying your baby girl at home. What a testimony the Lord has created on her behalf already.
What a great story!
Harper is just gorgeous. Glad you are having a good weekend at home!
Prayerfully,
Karen Needham
That is WILD! I mean crazy WILD! So neat that your paths crossed again and that you have those pictures!!!
That Harper is TOO cute! EG hated tummy time, too. It's so important though. Since EG hated it, I really didn't make her do it, and she was late walking. UGH!
Aww, Harper is soo cute! We love you, Kelly, Scott, and Harper!
Abby
What a fun story!! How incredible are the connections that God intertwines! Even more incredible is the God who can put all of that together!
My firstborn HATED tummy time, like someone was beating her. My doc would encourage us...15 minutes a day...which doesn't seem like much until she was screaming hysterically after 30 seconds!! On the upside, though, it encouraged her to learn how to roll and crawl very quickly. So hang in there!
How stinkin funny is that???
Glad to hear Harper is sleepin better. She is precious!
I have been following your blog for a few weeks now but have never commented. I just wanted to say that I am SO happy to see Harper at home, she is one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen! Oh and what a neat story about your doctor!!
Wow! A small world in deed! It is so great to see Harper at home! She is such a beautiful little girl! I am still sending prayers up for Harper but they are prayers of praises that she is healthy, happy and at home where she belongs!
Hugs and prayers,
Heather~ On the Homefront
That IS a strange coincidence! Very neat! And Harper looks so perfect and sweet. So happy that everything is going well!! Your family sure did touch our family.
That is SUCH a neat story about your doctor! What are the odds?!?!
And lookie there at pretty, pretty Harper! :o) I'm so glad y'all are doing well at home. I love her sleeping pose...hehe!
that is an amazing story!
your baby girl looks so sweet! i love her smiley face. i'm so glad that you all are adapting to your family life at home.
Kelly, that would really be something, having your dr. be one of your 4th grade classmates! Who would have thought that back then?? I'd say that'd be pretty doggone neat!! :)
Looks like Harper is coming along just fine! She's such a doll baby, & absolutely darling!
Our kids weren't too fond of tummy time either.. come to think about it! ;)
Take care now...and I am so glad that all is going so good!
~Lynn/Okc
I have been without a computer for a few days (stinkin' hard drive that crashed!) and could not be more excited to come back to this wonderful news! Harper is home! I have been needing a Harper update and this is just fabulous!

What in incredible story! It's just amazing to me how brings certain people into our lives at various times!
And I seriously want to come over to your house sooooo badly and pick that bundle up...it's NOT even funny. I know she can't have visitors yet, but, I can still have those feelings, right?!?! :)
Glad to hear that all continues to go well at home!
Love you,
Jess :)
Sorry, it was supposed to say, "It's just amazing to see how GOD brings certain people into our lives at various times!"
:)
That is crazy. How old are you btw? The world really IS small. I grew up in a town in Oregon and when I got married my husband was stationed in Anchorage Alaska. We moved there and I cannot tell you how many people I met there from my home town and even some that knew people that I knew. It was CRAZY. My husband travel to mississippi for training after he had gotten out of active duty and ran into a girl he went to tech school with and was stationed with in Alaska.
That's a wonderful story! And all of Harper's pics are beautiful, but that one of her sleeping w/ her hand tucked up by her cheek---so precious! Glad she's getting rest (though you're probably so enamored that you just stare at her all the time and forget you need rest, too--it happens to all parents!)
Just like Harpers life is such a God thing, I think your doctor was a God thing too! That's amazing and I hope you share that picture with her too. Harper is just beautiful and looks like home is a good place for her to just chill. I am so happy for all that I have witnessed God doing in your lives. Many more blessings to come, I just know it. Be blessed.
Love and Hugs, Laurie
How funny..It's such a small world!
She is such a cutie!
Kelly,
This is really funny!!! I'd say a teeny-tiny world!! =)
Harper is so precious!!!!!
Have a Blessed evening,
Dawn
that baby looks like it has never been sick a day in its life.
Looks like she is a happy baby.
love her smile:-)
That is a great story.
Harper is such a pretty baby...but with parents like you two, how can she not be. So glad to see she is doing so well.
Kelly I am so.. glad everything is going well at home. Praise him! I am a better person for reading your life story over the last month. It makes small problems seem smaller. I know you and your family are truly blessed. Harper is beautiful..simple beautiful!
My 1st thought was... you're a brunette!!! :) My 2nd was... what a beautiful story of you and Dr. Hinton... Coincidence??? Hmmm... Our God is the Almighty and He knows who we need and when we need them! I'm so glad Harper is home and happy... and you too Mom!
I know you probably don't have time to read all these comments, but Harper's BEAUTIFUL and so healthy looking! : ) I know this whole journey has been a big one, but gosh.....she's wonderful : ) Happy Mothering!
Wow. What a reunion!!! Harper looks great!!
Kelly, I know you're busy, but I left a little award for yo on my blog.
Ok, wow, that is out of control. I just love stories like that!!
I swear Harper is getting cuter by the picture. Glad ya'll are doing well!! Love ya'll!
Small, small world! That's too funny! Harper is just beautiful!! I am so so glad she is home and gets to sleep in that beautiful crib of hers!
That is crazy! What a small world it is - at least it was a friend and not an enemy, right? Whew! Glad to hear Harper is getting some sleep in..she looks so cozy and snuggly there on the boppy! (Cute cover by the way!)
What a wonderful story!
That is a freaky coincidence for sure!! Will you be able to show her that picture? I bet she would laugh and laugh!
The strangest coincidence I have, is that the last four digits of my phone number spell my maiden name, upside down!
Glad everyone is doing fine!
What a neat coincidence!! Well, of course, there is no such thing as coincidences, everything happens because God intends it, but that is just so cool that you and your old friend were reunited in this way!
Harper is totally making herself at home...what a stinkin' cutie! Love your black and white boppy pillow!
It IS such a small world! I have stuff like that happen all of the time!
And Harper is so precious as usual!!!
What a sweet story! My babies did not like tummy time either early on. I love bath time with babies and how sweet they smell afterwards. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Blessings!!
It just makes me smile to look at pictures of that sweet girl at home! I hope you guys have been able to get some rest!!
I've been praying for your sweet family for a week or two and laughed when I read today's post. I too know the girl - Amiee - she's a sorority sister of mine! Glad all is well and love how God works :)

So glad Harper is home! What a blessing! She looks like you I think. What a hilarious coincidence! Dr H was the doc on call when Jonah was coming but her shift ended at 5 and he was born at 6:13! But she is so sweet. I'm also glad to hear another new mom say they are feeding constantly! I feel like that's all I do! :)
I am so glad you are home. That is a great story about your Dr.
That's amazing!
Harper is so super cute!!
That is an amazing story! Harper gets cuter on every post.
I think Harper has got to be one of the cutest babies I have ever seen!
What a small world! She is so adorable!
Very cool story about your doctor!! So glad to hear Harper is sleeping better for you =)
That's so funny--kind of scary if you had known that way back in the 4th grade! And you were right--it definitely looks like Dr. H in the picture!
Hi Kelly! I found your link through Cortni Henke. I just read your latest post and wanted to let you know that Dr. Hinton was my doctor for my first baby here in Dallas. So it really is a small world. Congrats on your sweet little punkin'. And we will continue to be praying and thinking about her.
Ashley Swafford
Sleep, beautiful sleep! She's adorable.
What coininkdink!
So glad to see you to are at home with your miracle baby! Harper is so precious. Can't wait to see her grow!

WOw! That is hilarious! The World is truly small!!
Also, Harper is just adorable! And, I LOOOVE your bobby cover! Wherever did you get that one!?
I'm so glad that your baby girl is doing so well! What a blessing! I have a funny story about Dr. Hinton too. She delivered my baby girl back in September and the same as you as I was pushing I was gabbing with her. I knew that Dr. Hinton's first name was Emily, but of course I didn't know her middle name (and didn't even think to ask). She asked me what her middle name was going to be and I said Brooke, she looked at me and said that's my middle name too. I was so excited and thought it was so special the Dr. that delivered my little bundle of joy had the same name!
What a neat coincidence.
Those pictures of Harper are just so cute and my little Cameron didn't like tummy time either.
Hope you all are getting some much needed rest at home.
Hugs,
Lisa
That is a great story!
4th and 5th grade- why didn't they pair pink with chocolate then?! I mean, really, we got TAN and MAROON in plaid none-the-less (couldn't they at least given them more glamorous names like sand and wine or merlot or something!!?)!!! My maroon plaid blouse paired with some tan knickers. I think I got a 10 speed for Christmas, too. And Strawberry Shortcake? I get to play with them all over again with my daughter!
No coincidences-all GOD PLANNED! THAT is so awesome for you! You had such dark hair in that picture-I love you as a blonde :)
Too funny! Here's my small world story - I'm originally from PA but moved to Canada a few years ago to work at a church. Well, the church I was working at also had a school with it. One day someone mentioned to me that there was a teacher working there from my hometown in PA! I was floored! Here, here family is originally from the States and lived just a few minutes away from me. We were all living in Canada a mere 9 hours away from PA - in another country! That family has become one of my dearest friends. Sometimes this world is way too small!
Harper is looking so good. What is that black and white item that she is on in the first photo of her? Is it a boppy?? Or, lol, maybe it's just a t-shirt! Whatever it is, great fabric!
I just sent a message to Aamie Windsor Mason to check out your blog. I am actually teaching her daughter, Ashlyn, this year.
Dr. Hinton's mom!
That is so neat! I have a website I use with my baby programs with black and white designs that sometimes help tummy time. I'll try to dig it up and email it to you.
I just realized that my first post did not publish. My daughter sent me the link to your blog. When I saw it, I realized that I have been reading it occasionally. It was passed on to me by someone...can't remember who and then again today by my neighbor's granddaughter, Jennifer. Your ob-gyn is my daughter:) The other girl is Aamie Windsor Mason (David). I'm sorry that I cannot place you...but it has been 25 years! Congratulations to you and all of your family on the birth and health of Harper. This is such a neat story.
Debbie Arnold
What a cool story! I grew up in a tiny town six hours from where we currently live, so it always surprises me when someone knows where the town is.
Wow, what an amazing story about your doctor! Harper is just adorable! She is one of the cutest newborns I have ever seen (besides my own). I am so happy for you that you are at home with your baby.
Speaking of a small world.....
I have been reading your blog for about 3 weeks, thanks to a neighbor who gave me the link. My neighbor thought you and I were so much alike so I had to check you out :)
I am from Georgia, but now live in Topeka, KS. I am still a southern girl and love everything to be monogrammed, that was why my neighbor thought we were so similar. (Monogramming isn't popular here). I didn't realize we had a connection until a week or so later.......
So my parents were vising my husband and children (Taylynn Rae 2 and Preston 10 months) and I was showing my mom your blog. We realized that you must live near each other because you both go to the same church. My parents are Bob and Deb Baldwin, they have only been in Arkansas about 5 years and they live in Bentonville. My dad works for Wal-Mart of course.
Sorry for writing a book rather than a comment. :)
I really appreciate your openness and letting us all into your life. I will continue to pray for you and your family. Maybe when I am visiting First Baptist, I'll see you.
Oh how I love to see these photos..... please pray for this family who just found out that their 10 month old baby girl had stage 4 cancer, and with in 2 weeks went down south fast and home with Jesus this morning. I know you have a lot of prayer worriers.
Please see my post to link to their, I forgot to copy and paste theirs for here.
God Bless......
I am so glad Harper is home and you are loving it.
PS...I love that boppy cover...so cool!
Wow what a wild story! Harper is so adorable sleeping.
That is one of the craziest stories I've ever heard! You've got to go show your doctor that picture. That is great! So glad you are finally home safe and sound with your precious baby doll.
Wow! It really is a small world! I'm so happy to see Harper at home. Such a miracle!
Sheryl
Wow what a small world!
Harper gets prettier everyday (if that is possible) she is just precious.
What a great story!!!It truly is a small world!!
Your little one is just like mine: loves diaper changes and baths and hates tummy time. I don't know if I have ever met a baby who likes it.
She's a beauty.
That is no coincidence at all but the mighty way that our Lord and Saviour works in our lives! You are so loved by Him that He blessed you with what would seem the impossible! He loves to delight us!
So glad that Harper is now home with you...she is beautiful! Praising God that she is doing so well!
We moved to our village from a town five hours away from here.
On the first day we walked together to find our mailbox down the street. We met a cute couple at the mailbox and started chatting.
Unbelievably, they had moved from the exact same town two months prior, had had had the same doctor and dentist and had lived only a few blocks from us
Now the live only two houses away and we are close friends...if only we had met 8 years previous in the previous town!
Harper looks fantastic! Two of our four kids were over nine pounds--I love her chubbiness!
Hi Kelly, congrats on your beautiful baby girl. She is truly a miracle. I'm from Shawnee,OK and we have a Shawnee baby here that needs many prayers. Baby Maverick was born in September and is still at Children's hospital. He has had a couple of heart sugeries but has other complications as well. Please check out babymaverick.blogspot.com for the entire story. He is a sick boy and needs all the prayers he can get.
Again congrats and welcome home!
What a crazy coincidence with your doctor!
Harper is beautiful, she looks so content. I hope each day gets easier and she gets stronger. Do stay in and as much as you want to share her with everyone, DON"T! You will not regret keeping her safe from catching things, especially during RSV season! Maybe the weather will continue to be cold so it is cozy to be "in".
We are still praying for you all!!
Wow! What a coincidence!!
So glad things are going well. Remember this time! Cherish the moments that she is all curled up asleep on your chest. There is nothing like it!! That is my favorite part of the whole newborn time. *sigh*
What a cute little story! Hurry and go feed that sweet baby~
What a wonderful story and what beautiful pictures of that sweet little Harper. Enjoy every minute of being a Mom:)
Blessings,
Kaye
Matthew 21:22
You have no right looking that good while getting ready to deliver a baby. I don't care what your story is about, I am stuck on the fact that you are about to have a baby, oh I can't even talk about it!
I call those times "God Moments". I believe that God puts people in and out of our lives for a reason. That is amazing!! Glad to see that Harper is happy and is settling in so well.
Love & blessings from NC!!!
A girl that likes to eat!! She's going to fit in well with us, isn't she?!?!
that's amazing kelly! you should definitely send your dr. a copy of both photos. i bet she'd love to have them! so glad things are going good! enjoy all the comfy pj time! :)
tara in maryland
wow it really is a small world!
Harper you are such a cutie!! My son hated tummy time too.
Lots of love from NY
OH MY WORD... that is too funny about your doctor. I don't know that many people have had that same kind of coincidence... at least not down to the girl being the doctor that helped birth your child... that is one for the record! ha.
SO glad you guys are all doing so well at home... keep up with the tummy time, it's one of the best things! Eventually they love it... at least mine did! :)
How are you feeling? Are you able to do much? or are you still in pain?
God Bless
What a funny story! How odd is that..just shows you how everything is connected somehow. Love Love the pics of Harper and so happy you all are at home and she's healthy!!!
Mine never liked tummy time at the beginning either but as she can hold her head up alittle more she'll love it :)
she is sooo cute! :) glad you guys are home

i tagged you when you get some time!
Doesn't God work in funny ways?
Harper is beautiful, glad to see that she is at home where she belongs.

We continue to pray for little Miss.
That is amazing and so cool!!
I love those types of stories! How awesome!
Wow! Thats crazy for sure!!
So glad that Harper is home with you... and that she is doing great!!
What a nice story! I'm so glad you are home and settling in! Harper looks so happy! She is definitely loved by many!
I had someone approach me a few months ago at church and they recognized me from junior high. They recognized me, but I didn't recognize them. Now we talk often. It is neat to have people from the past cross our paths again.
That first picture of Harper is absolutely precious!!!
God does work in mysterious ways!!
Just think.. the doctor was one of your long last friends...that is precious too (but not as precious as Harper)!!!
So very excited for you...that you are home loving on that precious baby girl in your jammies! :) There is something to be said for just enjoying your new baby in the comfort of your own home.
Very funny about your doctor! It really is a small world.
Hugs,
amy
Very neat! Ok, here is our story! My husband was one of the first firemen at the site of a plane crash. One of the first young women he found became a family friend. Years later when we adopted our daughter, we were 4 hours away from home. This young lady and her family were there FOR US when we stayed in a strange town for several days. Things seem to come full circle.
I'm so glad your little one is doing so well!
Praise God for how good he is! I am so happy that little beautfiul is doing so well. I am SO glad she is home!
We will continue to pray for her to continue to do well.
I just found out not but a day or so ago that Jacquie is you dads secretary. That is so awesome! Im a PK also if I hadnt already told you that. We did our best to get the word out as soon as she was born. My mother asked me how Harper was doing this weekend and she was very happy to hear the news. We prayed for harper right then and there for continued healing.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
First of all I have never left a comment on here, but I want to say that I love your blog and your amazing story of Healing for Harper. The Lord is so good and is really using you! Anyway your story about your doctor is so funny. My doctor actually babysat a bunch of my highschool friends which I found out shortly after she delivered my baby. She also used to live down the street from me. It is a small world. =)
Okay, so first of all, I have been reading your blog since you had Baby Harper (saw the link from Angie Smith's page). I have to say, she is absolutely a gorgeous baby!!!! So cute! BUT, the main reason I am commenting now is because I figured out that you went to college with my husband. After reading all about your OBU connections and then knowing what your maiden name is, I just thought, hmmm, I will go check his OBU yearbooks and see if I can find you by chance....not knowing what years you went there. Funny thing...you graduated same year he did. When I asked him if he remembered you he said that he did. Since I read on your blog that you were a finance major, it kinda made sense....he said that he later also saw you at Fayetteville because he went there after OBU to get his MBA. ANYWAY, I thought it was such a coincidence that I found you through the "blogger world" and you are someone that my husband knows (knew). We are in Texas now (have been here for 3 years) but we will ALWAYS be Hog fans!!!! We still love Arkansas. I am so thankful to God that your Harper is at home and doing well. From all of the comments you get, I am not even sure that you will read this but I wanted to leave it anyway. Check out our blog and see if you remember my husband...OH...almost forgot to tell you who he is - Brice Hester.
I have LOVED reading your blog and keeping up with Harper's miracle progress. Our God is an AWESOME God! My sister-in-law is Dr. Seale (at Parkhill), and I will send her an e-mail with a link to your website so that she can pass this connection along to Dr. Hinton!
That really is an amazing coincidence!!
So glad to see that your little miracle girl is continuing to thrive; she is just gorgeous!
I totally understand about the constant feeding-my first son weighed over 10 pounds, and he wanted to eat all day too. Sometimes I wondered why I even bothered to button my shirt back up!
Oh wow that's so cool!
Harper looks like she's doing very well :) I'm so glad! I found your blog shortly after she was born and now I'm hooked ;)
Oh my goodness she is the smilyest little thing! I am lovin all the pics! What a small world we live in!!!! Enjoy every minute of lounging in your p.j.s!!!
From the mom of one 10 lb baby to another -- hang in there! I hope nursing is going well. You can nurse a 10 lb baby - mine is 30 now! Expect her to have "growth spurt days" where she is hungry all the time. Also, Scotty was cranky every evening from about 7-9 or 10 and would have nursed the entire time if I could stand it. But then he slept all night! not necessarily a good thing when you are making that much milk :)
She reminds me so much of him - you don't very often see babies that start out looking as big as he did - even when they grow from 7 to 10 lbs it just isn't the same.
She is adorable!
Love & prayers
That is crazy! And she helped bring this beautiful baby into your lives! Harper is just adorable...God gave you a wonderful gift..Harper will bring you so much joy.
Hugz,
Michele
Harper is absolutely adorable. Love her cute little smile.
It is such a small world, such a great story!
Harper looks so tiny in your home pictures, with regular sized things, as opposed to all of the itty bitty baby sized things in the hospital pictures!
Blessings!
What a small world, indeed! Hang in there with the feeding! I remember that days with my first when it seemed like all I did was nurse. The first 3 months are the toughest! After that, it's a piece of cake and easy as pie! You are giving Harper the best start in life possible! My son Stewart at 8 months still is not fond of tummy time!
That is out of this WORLD! How crazy! :) What a neat blessing. So glad to see that precious baby girl of yours is doing great on her own. She's a doll!
You know.... when God is involved, nothing is amazing and Girl, HE had HIS hands all over YA'LL!!!!
GOD was truly showing off and HE is still showing off!!!!
Watch for HIM, I have a feeling He is going to be really active in a little girl's life doing great and awesome things!

Oh my word - it is a small world! Who would have thought all those years ago! Lovely story!
Listen, that photograph of Harper sleeping is just the most precious one I have seen! She looks so happy and contented! Glad you're all home, safe and sound!
Sending love from South Africa as always!

That is AMAZING! God's Divine Hand is all over that "coincidence"! Praise the Lord! :)
So happy to see Harper doing so well. She is BEAUTIFUL!
Wow, that's amazing! Nope, never had anything like that happen!
I have had a bigger baby than you, though. 11 lbs 9 oz...of course she had to be cut out.
Maybe if she hates tummy time enough she'll learn how to roll over! But then...that hasn't worked with my grandson...
Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers!
Isaiah 53:4-5 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Small world stuff happens to me, too, and I am always amazed, too!
Harper is so beautiful and I'm so thankful y'all are back at home now. God is a good God!
I don't believe in coincidence...everything that happens to us is in God's plan for us!
I'm from Georgia, but I live in Florida. My husband and I both went to Georgia Southern University, and one of his fraternity brothers was in our wedding. Flash forward 7 years to when I was in the hospital having our second daughter. We started talking to our nurse, and she said she was from the same town in Ga. as our friend. As it turned out, she was in his brothers wedding and knew his whole family.
Hi I am a lurker coming out of lurkey-ville...LOL.
I just wanted to let you know I think your daughter is absolutely beautiful.I have been following you since the day you had her,as I just had my baby girl too.
wow isn't that crazy!!
your 4th grade friend seeing your hoo-ha! :)
and look at that pretty girl..she is such a doll!!
Kelly,
My name is Dawn and I came across your blog on Cassie Henley and Annalee's sight. I have been a secret follower ever since. I have a 28 year old daughter, Ashley, who is a l & d nurse at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Dr. Hinton was her doctor when my 4 year old granddaughter was born. She is now expecting another little girl in April. "It's A Small World Afterall". I love your sight and think Harper is precious. You have my continued prayers.
p.s. I have a cousin who's grandson is in NICU in Dallas. He need prayers. He was born just shy of 26 weeks. His name is Garrett. The blog link is icenhower-family.blogspot.com

Wow! That is a small world and what great photos of Harper! She is beautiful!
Too funny about your doctor! I love the tummy time picture. She is really giving you what for!!!
I'm sure everyone is telling you this, but it never gets old. Harper is a beauty!! Glad you are home with your miracle.
looks like your had the Toni Tennille hair cut. That was so popular. You ought to try and find the doc and tell her once again you 2 were great friends way back then! (maybe she'd cut you a break on the bill) haha
Wow really is a small world. This is kinda a small world thing. Not so much as that though. I have had two really good blogging buddies for a while now. Kayla and Jacquie. I posted on my blog about Harper when she was first born, and found out that Jacquie is or was (cant remember) your dads secretary and that she is also Kale's (Kayla's boyfriend) mom. It is so small sometimes. Oh and my daughter was born at St. francis where Harper ended up.
Love and Prayers,
Tim
