If you read this blog - you know that I'm a TV ADDICT!!!!! Especially this time of year - I have so many shows my DVR is on overdrive. I realized today that I haven't seen TV in 9 days - and I have to tell you - I couldn't care less. I just realized that Miss America was tonight. I wish I was at home holding my princess and explaining to her which girl was wearing too much lipstick and which dress was tacky and picking our favorite states together. But there will be time for all that.
Oh I can't wait to hold this precious thing in my arms!!!!
We had a huge group of visitors today - thank you to all of you for visiting!!!!! It brings a huge lift when we are able to see friends and family (and blog friends) and it touches me to think you would take time out to come and visit us!!!!
I forgot to tell ya'll that I got to change her diaper yesterday!!!! I was absolutely scared to death but the sweet nurse helped me! I've never been so excited!

I got a wonderful fruit bouquet from some praying friends in New Hampshire today! Thank you SO much!
We were so thankful today that Laurie and Steve came and spent the day with us. It just felt so wonderful to have them with us and to visit. We got away from the hospital and ate at Cheesecake Factory!
Laurie and Steve have been a wonderful support system to us. Laurie has fielded a million phone calls and e-mails - I tease her that she is my administrative assistant. We got back to the RM House tonight and this was in the mail! My sorority at OBU had made this big poster and signed it for us. SOOOOO cute! It just thrilled me to death. I have a onesie at home that says "Future tri chi" that I can't wait to put Harper in. It has a matching pink and green tutu!! If any of you tri chis read this - thank you!!! I can't wait for Harper to be in the pledge class of 2028!
We are living the fact that God's mercies are new every morning! We have had a hard week this past week but I think it's also been one of the best weeks because we have witnessed God's hand in every moment. I know some of you who are reading this may not have had prayers answered. You may think God has forgotten you. I just want you to know that God is good and perfect and He loves you. He has a plan that may not be what you planned - but I pray that you will one day find that His plan was best. We just have to trust Him to work everything out for the good.
I can't say enough how much I love you all!

«Oldest ‹Older 201 – 236 of 236 Newer› Newest»Will you get an extended maternity leave so you can enjoy Her Sweentess for a full six weeks? Or are you going to remain a stay at home mommy? At any rate, you'll have a lot of cuddle time to make up!
I just came across your blog and will be praying for little Harper and all of your family! How amazing is our God who cares and comforts those in need. Who would have thought that by blogging you would have been blessed with so many prayers. God is an awesome God.
That little girl should win "Little Miss Baby of America"

It is nice that you were able to get out of the hospital for a while. Very soon, you'll be leaving with your baby!
That is wonderful! I hope that stuff gets out of her system soon! I have been thinking and praying for you and your family daily! That pink bow in her hair is just the cutest! I know it's not a "big gun" but it will do for now, huh!? She is a beautiful miracle sent to you from heaven!
I'm lovin' her pretty pink bow and that picture of her holding her "lovie" is precious! I'm so glad to hear her oxygen is back down and that she had some tummy time..they look so much more comfy when they lay on their tummies! We are continuing to pray for your family and Harper's progress..hopefully she will be in your arms in no time!

As I have been visiting your blog, I'm so excited to see Harper getting better everyday. I'm also struck by your smile. Even from the very start of this, you have been smiling.

It warms my heart to see you posting pictures of desserts again because it tells me that things are looking way, way up! Praise Him! I'm praying that you get to hold your princess very soon. How precious of your sorority to send y'all that big card. Love it.
Praise God, Harper is doing so well! She is such a precious sweetheart! I love the bows!!
I watched the Miss America replay today. I wasn't surprised about the winner because she did so well on the countdown. However, I was surprised at how much a couple of them ignored the advice they got while competing on the countdown.
Blessings,
Rebecca

I thought of you when I saw the ad for Miss America. You'll get the explain to Harper next year, if she will sit still! Still praying for you.
This weekend my friend told me something that I did not know about the birth of her first and only daughter. She said that she was born with fluid in her lungs, was put on oxygen and was in the NICU for 3 weeks. She only weighed 3 lbs as she was born prematurely. She is a healthy 21 year old woman today. Kelly your baby will be fine :-)
Love the pictures Kelly. Still praying.
I truly admire your strength. Thank you for sharing your faith with blogworld and letting us watch the Lord at work. I can't wait to see a picture of you holding your little princess.

Your baby is so adorable,I can't wait for her to open those big blue eyes and see you for the first time.
Her coloring looks pink and that is a good sign.
She is getting better everyday, I just can tell.
AMAZING!!! I am standing in awe of the mighty work God has done here - there's no other word but 'amazing' that I can think of to describe it. Praise the Lord! She is so beautiful, Kelly! I can only imagine the tears of joy you cried in seeing her bright eyes staring up at you. How exciting...and AMAZING!!!

I love all of the pictures!!! They are precious!! I know you are SO excited that she is home now! Praise the Lord!
I remember you mentioning that you went to OBU, but i wasn't sure if you meant OBU-Arkansas or OBU-Oklahoma. After seeing the Tri Chi sign i realize now that it was OBU OBU!!!! haha!!! :) I used to go to school there my freshman and sophomore year and my best friends were Tri Chi's. How weird?
Hope you enjoy your time at home with Harper! Praying for yall!!
Love You, Megan!
