Please Pray

UPDATE:
We need you to lift us up in prayer like you never have before. Harper is in VERY critical condition and they are going to fly her to AR Children's hospital. It is very, very serious and the NICU doctor did not give us a favorable report. Scott and his parents will be driving there tonight. My parents and I will be driving there in the morning as soon as I can get out of the hospital. We know that God is soveriegn. WE KNOW that God is the same right now to us as He was to us this morning when we were so excited and praising Him as we drove to the hospital. We know that He loves us and no matter what happens - we will continue to praise Him.
I honestly don't know how I'm going to survive if we lose her. I just want to be honest with you. I'm putting this on my blog right now because we have had over 30,000 hits today and I need 30,000 of God's people to be praying for us. Thank you in advance for getting on your knees for our precious daughter.

Harper Brown Stamps was born at 7:03 PM. She weighed 9lb and 12oz.
She is having some trouble breathing, so they have taken her to the NICU to check her heart. They have had to incubate her - they are doing tests to see what's going on.
Also, Kelly lost a lot of blood in delivery and has really low blood pressure. We would really appreciate your prayers for both mother and daughter.

Scott & Kelly Stamps

Kelly, I know this must be so scary and difficult. I, too, have followed your blog for a while now and have never left a comment for you before. Reading this post I was compelled to let you know that my family is thinking of you. I immediately prayed and will do so again tonight. I keep checking back to see if you've updated anymore. I just know that God is listening. We all probably jammed his direct line. Just take each moment and each day. Try not to think about what the future will hold. I know easier said then done.

Sending you much love and healing prayer.

Robyn

We are praying for you in Ankara, Turkey. Kelly, the nearest and dearest God has ever been to me is when my children have been in the hospital. I pray He will fill you with His presence like never before. I claim that in the name of Jesus Christ, NOTHING can happen to this sweet family that is out of God's hands. We will commit you to the Lord this morning as a family.

Welcome, Harper! Holding all of you in my heart in prayer. And Kelly--9 lb 12 oz?! Whoa. Good going. Hang in there. As a member of the Big Baby Club I know they do wipe a mommy's body out for a bit but you are so lucky to have all those loving grandparents to help you out while you recuperate. Will pray for good updates on Harper!

Praying for you. I had a similar situation 10 years ago with my own 9 lb. daughter (who is standing beside me right now waiting for me to get off the computer.) Her oxygen stats were very low, etc. We did spinal taps--considered menangitis--had to put a crevage tube down her throat to feed her--thought she had an enlarged heart. It turned out to be transient tychipnia of the newborn--sometimes called "the grunts". Most babies get over it within a few hours--it took Victoria 6 days.

I say that to let you know that we had an incredibly scary 36 hours, but it turned out to be something that righted itself without surgery and with no lasting effects other than a benign heart murmur.

I don't kow you--but I love you--and I hope that Harper, like Victoria, is with you for many, many happy years.

Our Glorious God is a Sovereign God and His way is always perfect..He will accomplish His purposes and His ways are higher than our ways. He makes our way perfect and Harpers birth and health issues are no surprise to Him. We know and we know and we know that our redeemer lives and He will do that which glorifies His name.
He has given us the gift of prayer and we lift this babe of His into HIs arms of love and pray for healing power to flow. For wisdom to flow to medical staff, for love to surround and uphold you as a family...for you will come through this time. God has the outcome...but you WILL come through. Even now He is rejoicing over you with joy.
Praise the God who hears and answers according to His sovereignty.
