Pajamas Bunco

Tonight we had Pajamas bunco at my house! Everyone came dressed in their Pj's - it was so fun!
This is me and Rachel - I was just being my big self and she was pretending to be huge! ha! She cracked me up because she came in her sponge rollers. How many of you slept in those when you were young? I did every night for YEARS!!!!!!!
Caryn and Ginger are both happy because they were both winners - they won gift cards!
My friend Kacy has managed to win 2 times in a row. I think we are going to quit inviting her. I don't care how fun she is or how cute her son is! ha!

Amanda and Berkli - Berkli forget to wear her Pj's. I think she didn't want to look as dumb as the rest of us! ha !
These girls came dressed a like - aren't they cute Pink Ladies?

I made breakfast foods - mini quiches, sausage balls, chocolate chip mini muffins, strawberries and dip, Orange Julius drinks and hash brown casserole. Some of things were staples of mine growing up - I thought I would share the recipes in case you'd like to try them out!

Hashbrown Casserole

1 package frozen hashbrown casseroles
1 stick butter melted
1 8 oz container sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups cheddar cheese
Cornflakes

Combine 1st 5 ingredients and put in a 9 x12 baking dish. Top with cornflakes and melted butter. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

Sausage Balls

1 lb sausage (Jimmy Dean in the tube)
2 cups Biscuik
10 oz shredded cheese

Put everything in a bowl and mix well. It's easiest to do with your hands. Roll into balls. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes (or browned well)

Those are two of my favorite recipes too!

I love themed Bunco. My group isn't nearly as fun and adventurous as yours!

AW GEE! I would love to try those recipes, but the ingredients aren't familar and I don't think we can get frozen hashbrown casseroles or Biscuik in South Africa. Maybe I should try and improvise! Hmm! Will give it some thought and maybe a try. Looks like you all had a whole lot of fun!

Cute pictures!!! I as introduced to sausage balls 10 years ago when I met my husband - they are a holiday staple in his family. They are so easy to make - I wonder why we don't do that more often?!

Ok--very cute jammies...wish I looked that good when I was preggo. I have been lurking here for a long while and missed the question on pregnancy weight earlier...but want to share with you here...

It was my first and I was so sick at the beginning and lost 20 pounds. I was cool with that b/c I did not want to gain a lot of weight. Well, the sickness ended and I began to eat. The closer to my due date, I began to swell!!! Badly!!!! I went in on week 39 and stepped on the scale with my head totally occupied in a direction that did not include the numbers in my line of vision. I stepped off when the sweet nurse said, "OK"! Then she said, "Wait, you need to get back on there. I think I wrote something down wrong. This says you gained 16 pounds in a week!" I calmly looked at her, pointed to my elephant like feet and showed her the fact that I could not bend my fingers anymore because they were so swollen and told her in no uncertain terms that I would not step back on that scale because it had already been a minute since I was on there last and it was sure to say 17 or 18 pounds gained by now! And furthermore, I am not leaving this office until you schedule to induce me! I had my sweet baby boy the next morning! :)
