We had a dip themed shower. We had a couple of savory dips and a few sweet dips - fruit dip and chocolate chip cheese cream dip (if you haven't had this - it's HEAVEN!)

This is my signature spinach dip. I make it all the time and it is soooooo good. To me - it's the best spinach dip recipe I've ever found so I have to share.
Spinach Dip
1 pkg frozen spinach
8 oz cream cheese
8 oz Monterrey jack cheese
6 oz Parmesan cheese
1 can Rotel
Cook the spinach according to package. Add cheeses and melt in microwave for 3-5 minutes until liquid form. Add rotel and mix together. Serve with crackers or bagel chips or melba toasts.
Last night I made cherry limeade punch. Everyone wanted to know if my friends at Sonic gave me the recipe. I figure they would since I'm their best customer but I actually got the recipe off the net! It's very yummy. This recipe is just 1-1-1 so you can double or triple accordingly. (I doubled for last night).
Cherry Limeade Punch
1 can frozen limeade concentrate
1 bottle Sprite
1 jar of maraschino cherries
1 lime
Put in the limeade and then add the sprite. Pour in the juice from the cherries. Then add the cherries and sliced up lime for looks and taste.

Oooh, I love spinach dip!! I will have to try your recipe. We have this local restaurant that has awesome spin dip. If you're ever up this way, we'll have to go ;)
I don't wear jeans or pants either, since I'm so much more comfortable in dresses and skirts, but...
Being 14 1/2 weeks pregnant with our 7th, it's hard to find really cute and modest dresses that don't look like sacks! Where do you get your preggy dresses, and are they even maternity??
The spinach dip and the punch look fantastic, and I really enjoy your recipes! I'm going to try them!
With our 7th, I don't know if there will be a baby shower for us or what....!!!
Anyway, love your blog!

In fact, I have loved all of my cute and stylish maternity clothes. Thanks for always sharing your recipes. I have a really great one to share with you for a grape salad that would be perfect to serve at all of the showers you help host. Ultra yumm-o!

You are the shower queen! I think it's a neat idea to opt for having a shower after the birth of a child - that's unique. The shower looks like fun and I love the dip theme as I am a lover of snackies and dips! I will have to try your spinach dip - it's looks wonderful!
Thanks for the great spinach dip recipe...I made it yesterday and it was super yummy!
Thank you for the Cherry limeade recipe! That is my husband's favorite drink, so I made this for his 40th birthday party today! He loved it!
Just curious - on the spinach dip, do you not have to squeeze the water out of the spinach once it's cooked? Also, do you drain the Rotel before you put it in, or just add all the liquid? Looks DELISH!
