It is so powerful. Makes me want to do it to see what the Lord brings up about my life. I'm one of those "flannel board Jesus kids" that she spoke of. I grew up in church, was a missionary kid, never was a rebel or partier...but I know I have some cracks and gaping holes. I know I have more than I can see and I can only hope and pray that God would show them to me.
I have been reading your blog for awhile but never commented. I don't even remember how I came across it. I just wanted to say that I put pretty much the exact same post on my blog. It was the most touching thing I have ever read.
I love your blog. It is very entertaining, fun and most importantly real. Thanks!
I just finished reading it, right before I clicked on you. And, I agree wholeheartedly I think it might be one of the most moving things I've ever been blessed to read.
Kelly, I cannot stop thinking about the broken pitcher put back together and the Mercy Me song playing in the background literally had me sobbing. This has been such a touch from the Lord that I so desperately needed. I am sharing it with my ladies' Sunday School class in the morning!
Thank you so much for continuing to pass along items that so encourage other people.
I just found her blog today from Boomama's and you're right...it made me cry. What a powerful story. I went back & read about their baby & she is a great writer.
