Aloha from Paradise!!!!!!We had a long day on Thursday getting here but we had a perfect trip - all of our flights were on time (even early) and we didn't have any travel troubles. We got up at 5:30 a.m. on Thursday and we got in our room here around 3 a.m. Arkansas time so we were exhausted. We went right to bed and were up by 5:30 this morning. (We couldn't sleep)
This is the view out of our hotel bedroom. Isn't it unbelievable? We had a quiet time this morning by our window and then went down and ate breakfast. (Scott's favorite part).
After we ate breakfast - we headed out to the local grocery store and got a cooler and some water and cokes to take with us and then we headed to the North Shore beaches. It was extremely windy at the beaches today. But we hung out at one of our favorite beaches for a while.
And then we had lunch at Bubba's Burgers
These are pics from our favorite beach. We went back there after lunch until it started raining. So we packed up and stopped for a pineapple smoothie before heading back to our hotel. We laid out by the pool for a little bit and then got ready for dinner.
Tonight we had dinner at the Hanalei Dolphin. Scott had fried shrimp.
And I had grilled chicken
And then we shared this. Ice cream pie with banana and coconut ice cream. Yum!!!!It has been a wonderful first day. We are having the time of our lives. We have a BIG day tomorrow so I'll be updating tomorrow night.

I am a new reader of your blog. My friend, Shelley Hodges, told me about it and seriously . . very entertaining. I am an OBU grad myself and our lives are TOO much alike. Anyway, I know you are having a ball in Hawaii right now . . my husband and I were there in November . . in fact, our condo was VERY CLOSE to the Princeville Hotel. We actually went to a Luau at the Princeville. AND, Bubba's Burgers are great.

I am so glad that your first day was soooo wonderful! Everything looks so beautiful there...especially your cute hair! I agree with Sunni, aren't you glad your aren't eating Lean Cuisines in such an amazing place? I bet the food tastes that much better since you ate them so much prior to your trip!
