Tests and Failures

Well - I've had a quite an afternoon. First I went to the hospital and had a dye test on my female parts to make sure my tubes were open. It was not the most lovely of afternoons. It was a very painful test but Scott held my hand (and the nurse held the other one). ha! And the good news is that my tubes are good to go. So this test alone should help us and it's just good to know I don't have serious problems. (This is not a picture of me - but similar to what I saw today)
Then I came home and have been resting and I decided to start messing with my blog. HUGE mistake. I was trying to get a different look and kept messing with it until I lost all of my links. DEEP SADNESS! So I guess I'll spend tonight trying to link back to everyone's blog I love. I have no way of remembering who all I had so if I forget you or you want to be added - please let me know. Serves me right for trying to mess with something that wasn't broke.

I'm so sorry--this does not sound like a great experience AT all. Do you have to have other painful tests? :( On the positive side though, I'm super thankful to hear that you've received more confirmation that there are no serious problems. That's great news. I know you're relieved and feel like you're one step closer.

I have had that test done twice and one was horrible the other was not so bad. Glad to hear everything looked good. I know what you mean about messings with the blog. I have messed mine up several times.
Blessings,
Linda

Oh no!! Kelly! I can't believe you lost your links! I feel responsible. Was it the site I sent you? Sorry girl! Ha! Like you really needed the blog problems after your already hectic day.

Thanks for the update. I have been wondering how things have been going. Praying hard to an awesome God for you!

Oh my goodness. I had that test done recently and no, its not a very pleasant test! Unfortunately, I had one tube that is blocked and so that is where part of my problem lies. I keep praying though. I wish you well and and will pray for you. I know how frustrating it is, really. I hope you can get your links back!

Hey girl! Sorry to hear you had to endure those tests today, but Praise God that the news was good! Sorry to hear about the links as well. I'd love you to add me to your list...if you want. :o)

The fun HSG test! Yuck. There's something very wrong with a test where they can *sorry* insert a clamp and then walk away! I felt like a car with the jaws of life or something.

Check your e-mail in a bit!

Kelly,
I am so happy you got such good news, but I'm sad you had to go through pain to get it. I'll keep praying for you and Scott. I'm sorry about your links. I had blogging trouble today too. I kept deleting the pictures I was downloading. I don't know how I was doing that. It took me forever! I'm sending you hugs!

Well that is the most beautiful looking "stuff" I've ever seen.....
was that weird to say that?!

I meant to encourage you. I have no idea what good vs. bad looks like, but Hallelujah that it is wonderful for a new baby.

Your baby WILL come. It just will.
Your heart is in the right place. God's timing is absolutely perfect and He will bless you at that most perfect time. Keep your faith and belief in Him.

And, I'm glad you remembered me on the links! :)

Baby Stamps will be here and you'll never know how much you loved someone before they were ever conceived. Its just beautiful how that happens.

You've been in my thoughts and prayers since I read this. I haven't commented yet because I'm not sure I have the right words other than I truly appreciate your honesty through your blog, know you guys are going to be the coolest parents WHEN it happens, and will continue to keep you in our prayers for you to have Adalie a new friend!

My doctor wants me to have this test done in a couple of weeks but he didn't say anything about it being painful? I'm so nervous!

Hey Kelly! I just found you and was going through some of your old stuff to get to "know" you a bit better. :) My hubby and I struggled through and through God's grace were finally successful in conquering infertility issues too. Praise God!

Anyway, I saw this post and had to comment. THIS test right here just about did me in! "Very painful" is the understatement of the year! I had a c-section and I'd go through the c-section 10 more times if it meant not having to take this test again. I don't typically like to let my emotions go in front of doctors (yeah...like...never!) but I was BAWLING with a little screaming thrown in for a dramatic touch. I scared my poor hubby to death and as for the young male intern performing the test (I'm thinking probably in his late 20's), well, let's just say I am quite sure in that moment he made a decision that reproductive endocrinology was not the specialty for him.

So, after all that, 2 days ago I found out that I have to do it all again! Our daughter is now 1 and I'm no spring chicken so we've got to get going again. But, since it's been 2 years since I've been in, we have to start from square one. Not sure I'll be able to convince my hubby to go with me this time! Ha!
