In all of the excitement of the tour of homes - I failed to finish up our weekend wrap up.
Saturday - it did snow and this is how it looked for a few hours. It didn't do enough to really make it fun but it was pretty coming down. We are hoping for much more of this in the next month or two.
Saturday night, I went and baby sat Emily so her parents could go to a neighborhood party. We had so much fun. Here is a cute picture of her. Her shirt is filthy because she had just ate mac and cheese. ha!
Sunday we had a good church service and then we had lunch at our associate pastor's house. We are VERY blessed by all of our church staff. Then Sunday night was our annual Candlelight Lord's Supper. This is such a neat service. We do it all by candle light and we sang a lot of a cappella songs and the choir got to wear our Branson show outfits once again. It was a little stressful for me because
1. We had to walk up the aisle and later back down the aisle wearing those long lovely dresses and carrying a candle all at the same time. I did not trip although I couldn't get my candle lit up in the choir loft. I was hoping no one noticed but Scott sure seemed to get a big laugh out of it.
2. we had to stand in the aisles and sing two songs so the people in the pews could hear us singing very up close and that is not too exciting when you are not the best singer in the choir. I mostly moved my lips. :-)

We really did enjoy it Kelly! Im glad you had fun babysitting sweet Emily! She is really a doll!
1. Emily is adorable- the cute bow in the hair totally distracts from the mac and cheese on the shirt:-)
2. Jealous of the snow- we have had none and I am really, really hoping for a white Christmas.
3. Singing up close to the people in the pews and only moving your lips cracked me up!
Have a great week!
Mostly moved your lips!! Haha!! That's funny! I would have done the same thing! Emily looks hilarious in her picture with that smile! I can't believe she is almost 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mostly moved my lips.....thats cute and I would have done the same thing! :)

Kelly- I am Jill Brannon's sister and HUGE fan of your blog. You have a beautiful home and I always look forward and enjoy your entries! Thank you for sharing your story with us "internets", as Boomama would put it. :0)
I totally moved my lips too. There was no way I was going to sing out loud, especially standing RIGHT BY Kacy Murray--she would make fun of me forever :) AND my candle didn't light the first time either. I had someone holding it for me while I played, and when I got there, I had literally run around the church in high heels to make it in time with the choir, and my candle had already burned out, so I was really worried that it looked really dumb to just stand there holding a burned out candle.
I love the candle moment! I had one of those at our wedding when we lit the unity candle. Started to panic because I thought I was supposed to have a lighter or matches or something, and started whispering to one of my bridesmaids, "How am I supposed to light this thing?"
Still don't remember how we lit it. :)
A candlelit service sounds wonderful and refreshing!
Oh my. The outfit combined with the possibility of fire made me smile...but I'm sure everyone attending the service thought it was a moving experience.
The snow looks beautiful.... I am so jealous!

I would like to clear my name by saying I would never make fun of anyone's singing voice while they were dressed in a Branson outfit. I am much to entralled by the shoulder pads.
