Tour of Homes

Today was the annual Junior League tour of homes. Last year was my first year to do this and we got a late start and only made three or four houses so we tried very hard to do better this year. They are spread out over two counties so I really think it would be impossible to make it to all thirteen houses - but we made it to nine and we thought that was very good. The houses were all different styles - from modern to tradional, to VERY colorful to antiquey/victorian (old lady style) but we enjoyed them all. One of the houses was decorated using only things from Wal-Mart. I think I need to make another trip to Wal-Mart's holiday sections.
Here is everyone but me with their "Winter Dreams Tour of Homes" Tickets: Laurie, Elizabeth, Carrie and Kacy.

I even ran into a fellow blogger, Jessica, at one of the homes. She recognized me first and then I recognized her. It was funny to see someone in person who I have been reading about! :-)

9 houses sounds like a lot of fun. I was surprised that you needed tickets, but I guess that does make sense. Did they let you take photos?

Kelly, it was so funny that I saw you there. I kept looking at you to see if it was really you when you smiled (b/c on all your pictures on your blog you are smiling). I'm so glad to see you in person after reading your blog for so long. You are so beautiful on your blog and in person.

We had the tours of homes here in Monticello yesterday. Mom came down to go with me. The two of us easily made all five homes in our town-HA. Maybe next year we should try yall's tour. It sounds like a challenge of sorts to see all the houses.
