I wanted to share what Laurie got me for Christmas. Her neighbor makes signs and so she asked me what I wanted. I told her to do this verse - it's always been my favorite. You can't tell but it is green and chocolate brown. That's the colors I plan to do our nursery in. This will one day hang in there to remind me of how I had to trust God to bring us our baby.
We found out yesterday that we aren't pregnant this month so we will be trying a few new things this month with my doctor. Please keep us in your prayers. What I'm trying to remember right now is what the angel told Mary when he told her that her cousin Elizabeth was pregnant. He said "for your cousin who is barren and old in age (me) (ha!) is six months pregnant. For nothing is impossible with God!" I know that is true!

Love this verse and the colors! Keeping you lifted up in my prayer time!!!
I'm praying!!!!
I found your blog through a comment you left on another one. I have enjoyed my visit here. I love the verse and how she painted it on the sign and the colors are great! I have 3 children right now but it was a long hard road. I will commit to praying for you as the Lord leads. I am sure you have heard this before but His timing really is best even when we can't understand.
Blessings,
Linda
Praying for you Kelly. I'm glad that your Christmas was surrounded by family and lots of love. Keep your heart focused on Him.
Love,
Fran

You're strength amazes me and your faith inspires me. Thank you for sharing your life with us Kelly. Loved the Christmas pictures. I was digging through old pictures and found one of me & Chris at homecoming. How can I age yet he still looks the same? Hope the rest of your week is amazing. Much love!
That sign will look perfect in a nursery! I will definitely keep you and Scott in my prayers!
Kelly, I'm sorry. I think I can honestly say I know how you feel. I know I know I know...in the very core of my being, I know!
Had a dr. appt. this AM and long story short, no IUI this month. In spite of all of the meds, those stubborn eggs didn't quite cooperate. So I went shopping. :)
You are so on my heart. Also, I have to tell you I came across that very verse the other day! And I was both encouraged, and amused...the "old age" part tickled me. I love that Psalms verse too. Wonder if I can get it tattooed somewhere? :)
I LOVE the sign! It is beautiful! I will pray for you and Scott as you go through this journey. Hugs!
Ha ha ha ha! You are not old! : ) That sign will look great in a nursery! So tell me... have you found bedding already? : )
I have even though we are no where near ready to try for a baby yet. It is fun to look anyway. Planning a nursery will be great fun! Praying for you and Scott!
Thinking of you, Kelly. That sign and verse will be perfect in the nursery one day soon. This has been such a long road for y'all, but I trust that the wonderful news is just around the corner in 2008. I can't WAIT!!! I have been already, but my New Year's Resolution is to spend time every day praying for the Stamps baby. When he or she (or both if you get extra blessed with multiples!) :) arrives, they will have the most wonderful parents on earth! (and the cutest nursery, I'm sure!) Love you, thinking of you, praying for you. jlg
This sign is just beautiful! And what is more beautiful is how the word of the Lord is every perfect. He will keep his promises to you!
Keep the faith, Kelly! It will happen! You will be lifted in prayer! Love the sign....too cute. Will he ship to Alabama?? HA!
I love the sign, that is one of my favorite verses. It will mean so much when you do have your baby. I will be praying for you!
The sign is so beautiful. I am believing along with you for your miracle.
My sister has an entire page of scriptures that she prayed faithfully during her time of infertility. It brought her comfort in times of discouragement and kept her mind set on His truth instead of her own feelings. When she gets back home after holiday travels, I'll email them to you.
What a great gift! Love the color & the verse.
