Today is Mother's day. A day to reflect on how blessed we are to have mothers and be mothers. Scott and I are both fortunate to have grown up in Christian homes with wonderful mothers (and fathers). Today was baby dedication at church. Two of our close friends had their babies dedicated - Emily and Dominique. They did so good. I'm so happy for my friends who are experiencing their first Mother's day. Hopefully next year will be mine (whether the baby is in my stomach or in my arms). :-) Either way - my verse for our baby will be a verse from Bro. Phillip's sermon this morning.... "I prayed for this child and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him" 1 Samuel 1:27.
