Garage Sale

My friend Julie's neighborhood had a garage sale on Saturday and I've been wanting to have one so knowing there would be advertising for this and that it would be much more fun with friends - we joined up along with her neighbor for a big sale. It was a lot of fun even though it was cold and rainy. I got rid of a lot of stuff - and made a little money. It was worth the time and effort. We plan to do it again in a few months.
Scott's dad also came up here on Friday just for the night to get some furniture they wanted to use. He and Scott had some father/son time while I was garage sale-ing. I think they mostly did a lot of eating! ha!
Today we had church and then we ate lunch with Julie, Guy and Steve and Laurie (and Emily). That was fun. It's been a nice weekend.
I get to try out my waitressing skills again tomorrow night when I work at the graduating senior banquet. That should be fun. That was one of my favorite times of life - leaving high school and going to college - so it brings back such good memories to be around kids that age.
