Last night was a great night for Dawson. I decided it was time to introduce him to the neighborhood kids. Now that it has warmed up and it's staying light longer and we finally have more neighbors - our street is filled with lots of little kids. So last night I took Dawson out to meet them. I wasn't sure how he would do. The kids circled him up and LOVED him. I had about 10 little kids petting him and calling his name and walking him up and down the street for over an hour. He was in heaven! He just smiled and wagged his tail and ate up all the attention. And the kids loved it too. He's the only dog in the neighborhood. They all wanted to walk him and they want to give him a bath too. After we finally went in - he went to the front door and put his little nose in the door way. It was so pitiful - he wanted to play with his friends some more. ha!
We are going to Magnolia for the weekend to see Scott's family. So I'll give an update with pictures on Sunday. Have a good weekend!

We saw first hand on Friday how much kids love animals. We had pictures of Dominique taken with a bunny, and she wouldn't take her eyes off of it. She kept grabbing it, and if we didn't pull her hand away immediately, would pinch the skin, ears, etc. Luckily it was a wimpy rabbit, or she would be our 9-fingered little girl right now.
